The location was great, only a few steps away from the bus and tram station so it was convenient to get around. There’s also a plenty of highly rated eateries nearby. Bunk beds come with curtains for privacy. Self checkin was easy and secured. But paying to rent bed sheets and making my own bed were bothersome. Wouldn’t have minded it if the bed itself were 65 sek more expensive but paying extra for a necessity? Meh.

The hotel is quiet, clean and very well locate. It was fairly easy to reach by bus from downtown. Self check in is a breeze after clear instructions were sent to my mobile via SMS and also e-mail. I stayed in a dorm with 3 bunk beds. Each bed has a curtain, which greatly improves privacy. Also, each bed is equipped with dimming reading light, two power outlets and a small metal basked for personal belongings. They provide bed linen if you do not bring your own, and it is charged a fair price. There is no WC in the room, but there are plenty outside. In the floor there are 3 WCs and 3 shower rooms, all of them very clean. The breakfast lounge (breakfast charged separately but fully worth the price) is super cozy and decorated in fine Scandinavian fashion. Breakfast is self-service and tasty. I highly recommend purchasing the breakfast as there are no nearby places as a cheaper alternative. Finally, staff is super friendly, as the rest of the country is.

Very nice hostel. Rooms and bathrooms were tidy and staff was nice! The breakfast room and kitchen were nice as well. The checkin and checkout process was fast and easy. Only bad thing is that the lockers for the luggage are too small, so the room will be full of luggage. Also the curtain right beside the bed is too short so that a lot of light can shine in.

The room was quite big, but it was very cold, I slept with my boyfriend’s beanie on. I didn’t liked the fact that the sheets for the bed aren’t included in the price. You have to pay for a set which is 75kr. Is not too much but it bothered me that if you book a room for two, with a queen bed,you’ll receive two beds pressed on each other, so you have two small beds instead of one, and they make you pay for two linens, which by the way, weren’t that clean. So I suggest you to bring your own. And it’s not comfortable to sleep like this, because it is a whole gap between you and your partner. I liked the kitchen, it was clean and even though you have to pay for a breakfast, they provide with some food that you can take which is for free. The bathrooms are clean, even though I’ve never seen a woman to clean them, but you have there soap and some sort of shower gel and shampoo combined. The local it is clean itself, there is no one at the reception but that wasn’t a problem for us. I recommend if you don’t have high expectations or standards. It is a good price, you’re close to the Slottskogen Göteborg park and the botanical garden. The view was beautiful, and downstairs to the left it is a sushi pub with very good food you can try if you like sushi.

Had the pleasure of staying here almost three weeks right after new year's. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, cozy interior, good breakfast, and super clean. Really can't fault the hostel on anything! It's also right by bus and tram stops and there's plenty of choice of restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity (I recommend the weekday lunch menu at Gyllene Prag).

Hostel nice, to book is a bit a "diskrimmination" for man! It look like prefer first woman, even get hostel not full the take man too!

Friendly and helpful staff! Good location and budget friendly. The room was clean and we even had a private balcony. Variety of options for breakfast and the guests have access to the kitchen if they wish to make their own food. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful hostel. The ambience is so nice. It is very nice to have a number of showers and toilets commonly in the corridor instead of inside the rooms. Everything was neatly maintained . I highly recommend this hostel.

Conflicted about leaving a high rewiev because this has become my go to hostel when I want to skip the long commute home after work and just plop down and sleep immediately after a shift. 😂 They even gave me a breakfast bag to pick up... 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ No but I love this place and that I can skip the exhausting human contact if I want to by picking up keys in a code box. If yall steal my favorite room from me I'll hate you 😤😂❤️

Very nice place to stay in Gothenburg! Spacious room, comfortable beds and right by the tram/bus stop. Takes about 15 minutes with tram from the central station. The area is also pretty nice, with Linnégatan, Slottsskogen and the historic district of Haga right by. The self check-in went very smooth and you got all the necessary information. Very recommended if you want a cheap and comfortable stay in Gothenburg!

I loved this hotel. I checked in late and received a very detailed email with easy to follow instructions. My room was very clean and comfortable. I sent questions via email, which were promptly answered. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless. The breakfast selection had a lot of variety. The staff were very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. My best stay during my 19 day/4 country holiday.

Small but adequate space; in the heart of city. Which is great if you are traveling with busses and trams, little expensive if you want to park your car in pHus. Overall a pleasant experience!

Great experience, lovely people and nice services

The room was clean and nice. Well decorated according to the economic room, but we had to fill up the bed with linen and pay the linen price separately, which is a bad habit.

If you don't show up not only they don't refund (which I guess is fine) but they charge you for more than double the amount of the reservation! No commercial gesture, not a contact, they just send you a bill... who do you think you are?

Stayed in a standard single room, which I have received as a result of hotel making a free-of-charge upgrade from dormitory room. This already made my trip to Göteborg extremely pleasant. Overall, wonderful experience: great location, friendly staff, fine design and clean facilities. Self check-in process is rather easy. Definitely recommended :)

I have nothing to complain about. The place was clean as were the shared bathrooms and showers. The room was of a good standard, staff friendly and the place was quiet. It is basically a hostel in essence so it is good value for what it is.

We came to the Hostel to stay for our first Sweden Trip and if I would have the choice, I would have stayed there forever! The self Check in at night worked without any problems, and the room was beautiful, clean, cosy and even had a TV and a balcony. The shower and toilet were the next door, so it felt like in a hotel room with your own bathroom. We booked breakfast and it was really good, enough vegetarian options, fruit, fresh smoothies, warm boiled eggs.. the staff was so nice and helpful with any questions we had. I will recommend this Hostel to everyone who tells me about visiting Göteborg, in the five days it became a home for us!
