Cute and cozy. Ideal for smaller groups (up to 4 people). Large selection of sweets and pastries. Unfortunately the typical cinnamon bun was sold out, but could still get something tasty for a Sunday fika. They also offer warm dishes.

Coffe are good and there are many different varieties of pastry and other sweet foods. If you get here on the weekend, it will be extremely crowded. It will be hard to find the place to sit, but that's almost as any other place in Haga. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good l.

Great and cozy café in the Hager district. A large selection of different baked goods, and a good selection of coffees. We had an arguably large selection, and we bagged the rest for the trip. Both the coffee and the tea were nice (though not overwhelmingly so). The cinnamon bun was still warm and we ate it by pulling it apart. That was very nice and the bread itself is also quite moist in contrast to what you'd expect from a bun that size. The rhubarb cake was tasty to me more than to my SO, since it was more sweet than actually tasting of rhubarb.

The biggest cinnamon bun you’ll ever eat. You need to come early before they are all sold out. At Kr105, it’s really worth it. We shared amongst 4 of us. Yummy 😋

We came to Sweden on a trip. In the morning, the local guide showed us this place and told us about Kanelbulle. We tried it and it was the best. Later in the evening we came to the shop again to buy the same (as we will not have this again for a long time). But unfortunately, it was sold out. But I really want to point out 1 fact, the lady behind the counter was very friendly and her gestures were very cute. She had been talking to all very kindly in the morning and even in the evening she had the same way of treating people. She was very kind and energetic. I would like sincerely appreciate her 👏👏👏 Thank you for the good dessert and experience in Sweden.

Very cute. We wanted to try the giant cinnamon rolls but they didn't have any when we went :( I suppose it was evening when we went (around 5 p.m) so maybe try earlier. The atmosphere was very quaint and the cookie crumble we got was very crumbly indeed. Nice coffee as well. Nice selection of cakes.

There are giant cinnamon buns in this place to put the pilgrims on proof of faith. The capuccino is very good and the interior is very comfortable. Outside, people disputes a place on spring sun.

Lovely place to visit in Gothenburg! The cake was delicious and so creamy. One can spend a good time here for coffee breaks or even breakfast. There are enough sweets to make the tummy happy.

Perfect place to chill on a sunny day (and if the tables are free) It is very busy and a bit pricey, but worth trying the original hagabulle-huge cinnamon roll sprinkled with sugar. Soft till next day, if you cannot finish it at once 😅 The staff was a bit confused, and you couldn’t hear your own voice, the place seems to be aways crowded.

Classic Gothenburg café that has been the original one of the monstersize cinnamon roll. Genuine atmosphere where you have the classic feeling of the old Gothenburg. But let's go straight to the point here. After the new ownership, they oversize pretty much everything to be able to also oversize the prices. Everything you see in there is without any price tag. Instead, they have a Swedish menu hanging in another direction where you have to relate your product to a category. This has become a scamming tourist trap. A classic fika will easily become a couple of hundred SEK. We all know the margin of cream, sugar, and Java beans. So it's just ridiculous. But hey, we have a free market. Enjoy! Otherwise, I recommend all neighbors to sell the same for half the price and get some of the millions spinning here :)

The cinnamon rolls are huge here, probably 2-3 people can eat easily but they are quite tasty. Coffee is also amazing with vegan options and bartenders are very kind and beautiful girls, do visit and enjoy your Fika time in sweden with your friends.

It is likely the most touristy cafe in Goteborg which in this case is not really great. They are known for their large cinnamon buns and while it's excellent that they have vegan ones, I just say it was likely the driest cinnamon bun I've ever had! It was also the most expensive cinnamon bun I've ever had. The coffee was ok, and we haven't tried any food they have. There are far better cafes around.

I was visiting Sweden and my Swedish friend told me about it, it was delicious and many different types of cake.

It was a bit pricey. I ordered a lasagna and a hot chocolate and payed 200kr. The hot chocolate was amazing and the lasagna was fine as well, but I don’t think it’s worth 200kr. It was very crowded as you can see in the pictures, so you better have a reservation before.at one time an old lady almost clime over my table I didn’t understand why because she had her own space. Indeed there is quite a small place for you to stand or walk. It is a big cafeteria but there a lots of tables and chairs so the place become smaller. I don’t think I’ll come again but it was a good experience

This cafe caught my eye walking down the street and seeing the amazing desserts in the window. I am so glad I walked in. Right away, I knew this is where I would be enjoying dessert and a cappuccino. Every dessert looked amazing, and it was hard which to pick. I chose the tiramisu, and it did NOT disappoint. I wanted one of everything they had. I will be stopping in again before leaving this beautiful country. I hope you stop in and enjoy as much as me. Stop in for FIKA. It's also wonderful.

Came for the cinnamon buns - we weren’t hungry so there was an option to get only a quarter sized bun, otherwise the default size is huge! Also enjoyed their quiches. Great spot to chill in haga.

Nothing against the establishment, I just think this place is over rated. The giant cinnamon bread that everyone is raving about is quite simply bread and cinnamon. The Swedish probably grew up eating it and find it delicious, but it is not a cinnabon. It wasn't even warm, it was cold as it was on the display rack for quite a while. It may look nice in photos but only attempt the cinnamon bread if there are 4 of you, cause its ridiculously huge

This cafe offers a charming setting for soaking in the local culture and indulging in a bit of people-watching. The staff struck a great balance between efficiency and friendliness, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their cinnamon rolls are huge. I managed to get through just a quarter of one and had to save the rest for later. One thing to note is that if you're expecting the classic Cinnabon-style warm, gooey, soft, sweet cinnamon roll, you might be disappointed. This version had an interesting twist, with hints of various spices, perhaps even a touch of ginger, alongside the cinnamon. The roll itself was served cold and dry, but was softer as I got closer to the center. One small drawback to keep in mind is that the cafe only has a single bathroom. Be prepared for long lines, which can be as lengthy as those at the ordering counter. Although it's undeniably a tourist trap, I visited willingly and had no regrets. Do I regret visiting? No. Will I revisit? Probably not.

Best key lime pie I've ever tasted!! My husband had the lemon cheesecake which was also heavenly. And the coffee was excellent! Lovely place for fika while sitting in the sun.

Café Husaren - Home of Hagabullen in Gothenburg is a real treat for pastry lovers. You can't pass up the opportunity to indulge in their famous Hagabulle, a sweet delight that's nothing short of legendary. The moment you walk in, the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods surrounds you. The Hagabulle, with its generous size and delicious cinnamon filling, is a testament to the café's dedication to quality and flavor. It's a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth.

A famous coffee shop in Haga. The face-big cinnamon roll is the best-known dessert here. The coffees, sweets, sides are delicious and not very expensive. The environment is nice and the staffs are friendly. I recommend this coffee shop to travelers who come to Haga to have FIKA!

A nice hangout place either after a stroll in the city during normal days or the famous haga seasonal flea market during the Christmas / New Year time as it's located in the middle of the haga street! Plenty of options to choose from, but pie and coffee are our favorites yet! Family friendly, we almost always see some families with children seated.

This place gets sooo busy in the afternoon. If you really want to enjoy the atmosphere and your food, go in for brunch! I found that the best way to try everything here is to go with friends, share a cinnamon roll and try their other sandwiches! Unlike some other cafes I’ve been to, Cafe Husaren heats up or grills all the sandwiches when ordered — this makes the food nice and toasty to eat

Always worth a visit ! The tourist café actually has a super quality and the huge cinnamon bun MUST have tried. A little warm with a very tasty cappuccino simply unforgettable. The zimtschbecke costs the equivalent of about 9€ and is good to eat with 6 people. Everyone has a small piece and can try, but eats not too full to eat another delicious cookie or other treats from the cafe. Not everything quite cheap but qualitatively as well as from the taste experience to recommend. We thought that such an overrun café by the rush of tourists can not keep up with the quality but thought wrong - really super tasty and so good that we have taken another and you can also easily pack as a "to Go" cinnamon bun as a souvenir for the dearest.

We had a cheese quiche, cinnamon roll, and shrimp open face sandwich , all very tasty , friendly staff , once you buy coffee you can refill it for only 5 crowns , worthy to visit ! Nice atmosphere too … the only think is that they have only one bathroom , so when there is a lot of people there is a queue.

We got one of the famous cinnamon buns, a cookie and a drink and as expected the price was quite high as you pay for the novelty. The cafe was very busy but we did manage to find seating. Overall a nice experience but I'd say you need to share the cinnamon bun between atleast 3 people to manage to finish it.

The cafe is a really nice place to enjoy a fikka. You can sit inside but also outside and the food is really good! It is a nice place to just sit and relax and enjoy your coffee or chocolate milk in my case. The girl behind the counter was really nice the service was really quick! It is not the cheapest place but would really recommend it! And it just looks really cute!

Great coffee and hot chocolate, biggest cinnamon bun in the world was amazing, we shared it with three people, since it’s really big!

Cozy, vintage style cafe with lots of sweet Swedish treats. There were a variety of savoury pies and quiches as well. We visited on a sunny afternoon in the spring and the place was really crowded and we absolutely enjoyed the vibes! Everything we bought tasted great and the prices were reasonable. The sticky toffee cake and sylviakaka were my favourites. The famous hagabulle didn't really feel any special. It was no different than a regular kanelbulle except for the huge size. But then you can always buy a quarter portion like me. Will be visiting this cafe again whenever I am in Haga next!

Delicious cupcake and good coffee! Perfect to have a break :) In the centre of Göteborg, the place is very nice and the personel is young and friendly! Recommended!

This cinnamon buns are the softest I ever had! A must visit when in Gothenburg. Highly recommended.

It's fine! The giant kanelbullar are vegan which is awesome. Good place to go for your classic novel pastry. It's just disappointing that they have so many different Swedish treats, that they literally fill an entire wall and then some, that's the only option.

Very nice and cozy place with very delicious sweets! I have been there twice and tried alot of sweets :) Everything was delicious but my favorite is the Blueberry cake <3 I totally recommend this place!

Great experience, huge soft cinnamon roll, so sweet, bit it is too big for one person so would be the best to share it with someone else ;) Coffee Americano is so delicious.

  • 5/5 Coralis B. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing variety of all kinds of delicious Swedish baked goods. Never seen a variety like it! Wanted to eat everything! They also offer lunch and cooked meals. Lots of tables out in the sun as well. Highly recommend!

Huge Hagabulle and a nice cup of Cappuccino. The hagabulle was around 7.50 euros which is totally fine if you consider the size (it was as huge as my head). The flair of the Cafe is very cozy and it's def a must visit spot in Gothenburg.

  • 5/5 Amine B. 2 years ago on Google
The best place where you can try something typically Swedish.

  • 5/5 Annica S. 2 years ago on Google
Biggest cinnamon bun (hagabulle) in Sweden. It's huge, the size of a dinner plate. It's vegan, it's nut free, it's delicious. The exact right amount of cinnamon. If you can't fit the whole bun in your tummy, they will give you a paper bag to take the bun home in. Friendly staff and great supply if pastries, cakes etc in addition to their famous Haga Bulle!
