Originally booked "upgraded" queen for 3 adults , when arrived were put in room 22 only 1 queen bed and a sofa when complained to reception we were changed to room 1 not much better at least had extra bed . Non smoking rooms but smokers allowed to sit just outside doors so smoke comes back into rooms.. small bathroom window jammed open with piece of wood with no lock.Hard to fill jug in tiny hand basin in bathroom , no plates or cutlery Best thing about this model was leaving we actually woke up around 4am so just got the hell out .

This is terrific. Everything you need and nothing you don't. When you just want a clean, safe bed to sleep in, this was perfect. The room was small, but the bed was comfy and the bathroom clean. All for less than $100 a night. A rare treat when travelling.

Just terrible, Bad room, Bad owners... Way too small for 2 people, No Wifi.... No anything really. Never going back here.

Stayed here before. Double room, clean, adequate for my stay, nice breakfast. Won't stay here again. Last night, in queen bed room, smelling of smoke. Changed rooms, high fixed shower barely any water, leaking hand basin. Clock radio not working, 1 bed light working. Powerpoint for kettle under desk, hard to reach. Moved microwave from top of fridge to desk, had to use powerpoint under desk, short power cord. Booked direct, more expensive than booking on line!

Nothing good about this motel. Better pay 20 more and get far better than this. It doesn’t worth any dollar.

This place is the best loved it got there late the first night and the bloke turned my ac on 22 and turned my electric blanket on what a legend

I do not suggest anybody to stay here. Hot shower does not work. Bathroom gets flooded if you able to get shower. It can be cause of major accident. It is the worst motel I have ever been. Sorry for the bad review. I just want to warn others . Thanks

Very small room, but clean, however hand towels and doona cover was dirty, rubbish in drawer and under bed. Good hot shower.

The room was good and the staff were nice. But my only problem was the room 5s door got stuck twice. Which caused me to result in climbing the window ( which I don't like doing in hotels )

My parents were holidaying in Australia last week, they had a car accident late at night on their way to check in to Hillview Motel (which they had only booked 2 hours prior). They called Hillview Motel to let them know they would be a bit later because of the accident, Debra offered to pick them up (they got a ride back with the tow truck); Debra had their room warmed up for their arrival. Debra then proceeded to make them feel comfortable, cooked them meals and assisted them in making arrangements for the rest of their journey

Old world,small,no disabled access to rooms only steps from car park spot, toaster but no plates or cutlery,had to walk to reception to ask tho happily supplied. Run down,cracked paint in room etc tho clean, and comfortable bed

Very basic indeed..... A very small room, just big enough for the bed. Although it was clean, our room was in desperate need of some TLC. Not really suitable for a couple. *The morning after..... mattress has definitely seen better days, had to turn the heater on regularly because of the constant cold air creeping in, paper thin towels, plastic shower curtain, no mixer on the hand basin. The place is stuck in the '70's! My suggestion is pay the extra $15+ down the road and get a decent nights sleep. Definitely not worth 1 star.

Great little motel and great value for money. I've found that it is very clean and the basics are well thought out

Stayed one night last minute, phone call at 11pm and had a lovely helpful man meet us with the keys at reception. Room was cheap, neat, clean and had all we needed.

Tommy is very friendly and accommodating. He was more than willing to help with special needs parking arrangements. He went out of his way to assist with special requests. Appreciate Tommy very much!

We booked room 1 and when we arrived, the room was so stinky that we couldn't sit there for a minute. I spoke with the staff and she said that all the rooms were booked except number 3 but that I would have to pay an extra fee because it was for four adults. Room 3 was not smelly, but the sheets were unclean. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked.

This motel is a hit n miss. Room next to us left before they even settled in, heard argument with the manager. Our room was smelly and not cleaned properly. We found old stake tobacco in a draw. We got bug spray as there were crawlies in our room. Once we fumigated the room. Our beds were comfortable and shower was hot. Good night sleep for a old room. So room 1 was ok. Could be improved, especially for the rates you pay.

It was the worst motel i’ve ever stayed at , the bedroom had a strong scent of cigarette smell and the bed was so uncomfortable, bathroom was horrible, cockroaches and ants in the room and it was just in general so bad i had to move hotels

A basic place, even the floors squeak as you walk on them.for the price I paid I would have expected better, but it comfortable enough for the night.

Basic room with a very dated bathroom. Hot and cold taps are reversed.

Good price with bath room. But Room was dirty and smelt funny. The cutlery was dirty and hadn’t been washed. The bed mattress was filthy and when in the sheets I was itchy as.

Rooms are not very big but they were very clean and the bed was comfortable.

On our way to Melbourne & unexpectedly needed late night accommodation as our baby was upset & wouldn’t settle so called to see if they had a room available for us & got very rude service where the guy answered the phone by saying “Yes”. I apologised for the late notice & didn’t even get to finish my sentence & he rudely continued “we’re fully booked” then hung up the phone. Will not even try at this place the next time we go to vic to visit my husbands other children. Not recommended at all.
