Really wonderful cafe, great atmosphere and delicious food. We got a weekly special, a chickpea pumpkin pan with falafel. The pita slices were deliciously crispy and the seasoning was spot on! The staff was friendly, service was prompt, gorgeous furniture - all around excellent experience. We'll be back for sure.

Delicious!! Great service, nice atmosphere. I'll be back for sure. My second visit was on a Saturday. I was really impressed by the breakfast options. The American breakfast was really nice.

We were regular customers and used to like this place a lot . But notice how I say “were” because I don’t think we’re coming again When you get the menu, there’s a paper with handwritten menu inside and I beg whoever writes this - please, use a printer and a computer, the handwriting is not understandable. Somehow we managed to understand that there was linguine with truffle and wine-butter sauce. I decided to give it a try. I waited for 30 minutes and when I got it, it looked just like plain pasta with two little pieces of truffle and the only thing I could taste is a tiny bit of burnt butter. We asked the waitress if there’s any sauce coming with it and she suggested putting more wine sauce there. As it couldn’t help the situation, I refused and she took the plate away without saying a single “we’re sorry you didn’t like it”. When we went to pay 5 mins after, we also heard no comment on the situation.

I had the worst and the most expensive meal of my life here… 23€ for not well cooked rice, the smallest chicken nuggets and the poorest salad in my life. If I could rate it with -5 stars I would.

Very noisy place, not suitable for chatting, orders can take a long time during peak times. Still - staff is patient and friendly.

I went with friends and a baby for breakfast. This restaurant is family friendly, staff very nice and welcoming. Food was good but we needed to wait a bit long for it. The orange juice was fresh and delicious (I must say a goos juice is a rare thing to find here in Munich, a good amount and good quality) I can recommend

Premium place. You feel at home immediately with a family vibe that makes you expand universes and organically recreate your living room from back in the days with a new family that is wholesome and inclusive. While alienating yourself from the house you grew up in, you feel welcomed into a new world with beautiful creatures. Next time I'll be in Munich, I won't be able to not go back again to this sacred place.

Once upon a time in the early 2000s I used to go here often when I lived in Munich. It was such a lovely place to go to, relaxed atmosphere, quiet, great food. I wish I'd left it to memory rather than go there again when visiting the city twenty years later. You are immediately greeted with the modern custom of "Do you have a reservation? No? Ok you can sit at either of those tables there".......next to the toilet, when the place is almost empty at 5pm. Nice. How very, very sad to see it like this. But things change over time and evolve. For the better? Make up your own minds. But for me, it ain't what it used to be, and I guess it never will. So I'll be consigning this ca va visit to the memory bin and let the previous experiences count instead.

Wow, what a great place. It looks empty because everybody wanted to enjoy the sun.

A hidden gem! The food was tasty and happy hour was a blast! My friends and I might make this a regular place for dinner at the end of the week!

The best about CaVa: It never changes, it's a living relict of the 80s, and we love it that way.

It was a re-union with some friends of my husband's. These guys have been going to CAVA since they were at the University. As it is easy to understand the place is cool and the food excellent... Otherwise they would have changed along the years 😂😂! Excellent!!!!

Great Location! Cordon Bleu was good. Impressed that red wine was not that bad: Primitivo, La Mancha and Sauvignon Blanc.

I went to Cafe CA VA with a friend for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were great. Good prices for breakfast in Munich and the place has its own flair. It can get a bit loud though. All in all I am happy to have found this place and can recommend it.

Great place to chillax with friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very friendly waitresses and great happy hour drink specials. I go there quite often since I live in the neighborhood.

Very friendly staff. I had the BBQ plate from the daily menue. It had lots of fries, good beans and delicious pulled pork. The coleslaw was too rough, was hard to eat with the fork. Saddly the spareribs have been way too dry, the taste was good though. Portions are in general big, but on that plate i had just a few ribs. Enough have been the two bowls of ketchup and majo. And in general: the Ca Va is ohne big room, as it is almost allways full, it is real noisy - too loud for my taste.

Atmosphere is great, excellent service (well above Munich standards), prices are reasonable and food is good, actually tastes "home cooked". I ordered the Ça Va teller with pulled pork and beans which was actually a big portion size. To top it up you can pay with cards.

We came to this place as trio very hungry guys, I chose carbonara (on the same level as in Italy) and my friends picked schnitzel, 1 pork and 1 with ham and cheese, also 2 beers and 1 Coffee. And everything tasted amazing! Great portions too; the environment is also very cozy and overal friendly, 5 stars from all of us.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, it was our first time in Germany and they made us feel at home. The blueberry cheesecake was the best I have had. Would 100% recommend to anyone.
