Tourist attraction Historical landmark Castle

👍 Nice little island castle. Can be seen in around 10-20 minutes. Lot's of people will recognize this as the place where alot of Braavos was shot but it also has it's own interesting history. People often mention castle,

Neat little area that isn't mentioned in a lot of tour information but it's got a bit of that medieval feel while being a bit more modern. Not crowded like Split or Dubrovnik. If you like wine, find the VP winery and get a couple bottles, you won't regret it.

Beautiful place. I came to visit because of the Game of Thrones Braavos scene, but it's worth the visit even for non GoT fans. The place can be seen in 20 minutes. We visited on a summer day at 3 PM and the place was almost completely deserted. It had a nice strange atmosphere.

A must see for a GoT fan since it was used to represent Braavos. Well preserved, little, charming castle with a homely atmosphere. You can also rent aparatments there.

This castle unlike all other was a benedictine monastery castle which was built by Split benedictine nuns for the people of K. Gomilica who worked in the field around castle. Castle is known for its photogenic tower and surrounding area. In my opinion and research this castle has 3 names: first one is Castle Grisogono by the benedictine nun that formed the castle, second one is Nuns Castle you guessed it, by the nuns who founded it, and the third Kastilac which is in general use today. I will leave you to explore this sight by yourself Castle is also known as part of Braavos in popular series Game of Thrones. Please don't SWIM around castle, sea is not of a great quality, and don't try to enter tower

There's a beach next to it, nice to swim, clean and with showers. Didn't go inside the kaštel.

Very cosy place. But there is no place to chill or smth. All buildings are private. So here you can only look and take some photos on place of Arya's)

The port of Braavos in G.O.T. ! Just park at the port and walk through the beach to arrive here, it's free and inspiring.

The castle has an interesting history but is relatively small and the buildings are all private. We only spent about 10 minutes there in total. Worth taking a peak if you're already in the area.

Pretty but nothing else really to see .... so if you are in the area .... take a look but don't go out of your way

Not that big or special but pretty nice and a bit interesting. Recommend Game of Thrones fans going here. If going here I would recommend bringing swimwear since the beach was pretty close. It was very close to the bus stop so it was easy to get here from Split.

I would not make a huge detour for this little medieval castle unless you’re a GOT fan. The place was quiet when we were there and we talked to a few locals who lived there and took some photos.
