Great restaurant at the edge of Pula old town! Little bit on the pricier end compared to other places but you can tell the food is really good quality, with fresh good quality ingredients. The squid and lamb was absolutely delicious, so was the octopus salad. It’s a bit on the side of the main tourist street so it’s not as busy as other places which is appreciated, more of a relaxed vibe here

Veritas Food & Wine is was a five star experience on every level… high quality food, lovely atmosphere, friendly service, and good prices. We had a party of 8 and were celebrating a good friend’s birthday. We sat at a table in the shaded outdoor courtyard adjacent to beautiful old ruins. Veritas is a family owned restaurant and the owner, Mario, suggested we try the mixed seafood platter which consisted of the freshest dorado, sea bass, and prawns that we’ve ever had, along with a side of potatoes cooked with chard. We also had the mango and avocado salad which was very fresh and tasty. We were treated to several shots of local brandy and a dessert with a firecracker candle to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The entire family came out and sang happy birthday in Croatian which really made the day special. By the time we left we felt like part of the family! It was a very special experience and we highly recommend everyone try Veritas when visiting Pula.

Expensive average seafood. The waiter kindly informed us of the day's portion where we can have a mix of different types of seafood. This was nice, and sounded like a good option. The meal for two in the picture ended up costing almost 75€ with a water and a coke! Very expensive compared to other seafood options in Pula.

What a nice boutique place! We had lunch and I ordered a tuna. It was delicious and very professionaly plated too. Though I wished it was less raw, but I reckon it is just that kind of a dish. Polite staff also. 😋

Cozy atmosphere, attentive and nice staff (special mention to Daniel), delicious food. Visited during lunch today and enjoyed the meal. I ordered Pljukanci with truffles and black risotto with seafood. Yes i finished everything. It was that good. The place is in a quiet area away from the crowd which is essential for me. Worth recommending if you visit Pula.

First of all the wine is excellent! The waiter helped us choose the right one and plus to save money. Then the food came. And it was just delicious and tasty. This is just a great place and with beautiful atmosphere, helpful and wonderfully welcoming service. Recommended!!!!

Had a nice meal here on a Wednesday night at the start of June. The mixed platter was good, the grilled squid were tasty and the steak with truffle fuzi was also very good and the house wine went well with dishes. The honey liqueur offered at the end was also very tasty.

Very nice restaurant, food was great, service prompt and friendly (shoutout to Daniel - many thanks) It was kind of busy, but we didn’t feel any pressure to finish and leave, we really appreciated it. Overall experience was excellent, loved every second of it and don’t even let me start about food 😁 If we ever come to Pula again, we’ll definitely visit Veritas again 👍

Spent yesterday night at this beautiful restaurant with my friend. The food was delicious, recommend the fish! The wine was amazing. The best off all: the amazing service we got from our vaitor Martin! He was so lovely, came with recommendations, made us laugh so much and was just overall amazing. Thank you Martin for making our night.

We had such a lovely dinner! The food was amazing, we had grilled squids and truffle risotto, both was really tasty. Wines were excellent as well. The service was so kind, they made sure we feel comfortable, they even gave us a taste from their home made honey liquor. I felt like home. I would definitely recommend.

AmazIng service, even better food. Lovely view and the waiters know their wine. Last day in Pula spent well. Been here all week eaten at a lot of places I said to the waiter “this is the best we’ve had.” I suggest the Steak with Truffle & Terran Red wine!

I've never had a better feeling after going to a restaurant. It's a family business, the staff was extremely pleasant and the food (including the desserts) were really really good. I would definitely recommend the place and will come back if I'm ever in the area again.

We had the most perfect dinner. The restaurant and the surroundings are beautiful. The family that runs it could not be more kind and welcoming. Food was fresh and delicious. Wasn’t sure what to get, but their recommendation was perfect. They even filleted the fish tableside. Would definitely come back. Update: We came back the next night! We could not find another restaurant that looked as appealing as Veritas, so we went back a second night in a row. This time looking for pasta with truffle. It was another wonderful experience. The food and service were flawless, bravo!

I had a black risotto and white wine. I’m so impressed! Risotto was 10 out of 10. Wine was tasty as well. Staffs were really nice, polite and helpful even through they were very busy. Definitely, come back here If I have chance:)

Spent the evening here. The food is really expensive but it definitely delivers. I ordered the truffle steak and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. The service was also pretty good and fast. The only thing that I want to mention is the chairs aren’t that comfortable. If they change them the restaurant would be perfect!

Immaculate dishes prepared with fresh and regional ingredients! Professional staff and a customer oriented owner made sure our evening was special! Also nice that the restaurant has a kids menu ! We will return for the food, service, and wine!

We had been aiming to try out the pasta with truffles at this spot, which was garnishing amazing reviews, but I wasn't sure about the choice of pasta. The only pasta they have is "pljukanci" and there is a reason for it. It's one of their specialties and it's home-made! We decided to try it out regardless and we were very pleasantly surprised. The pasta itself feels like something between gnocchi and regular pasta, getting the best attributes of both! I highly recommend you trying it out as it was definitely fulfilling and well worth the money. A special shout out to our amazing server, Martin who was an absolute delight! Sending you big hugs, my man! 🫶🏼❤️ The place itself isn't far from the city center where you definitely don't feel the crowdedness. It's a 10/10 in my book! 😁

The food and service was excellent. We ordered a fish platter with calamari and shrimp, a truffle pasta, and salad. The fish was some of the best we’ve eaten in Croatia and the truffle pasta had a lovely truffle flavor. Sometimes you can barely taste the truffle, but not in this one. It was very good. Our waiter was absolutely lovely and gave us recommendations. He also gave us a complimentary honey liquor. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing place. Food and wine are simply excellent, and the family who runs the place is friendly. The restaurant is close to the site of the ancient church with a view to beautiful sunsets. Truly romantic.

Best place ever, ordered fresh fish was the best I ever eaten. Personell was very friendly the owner personally greeted us and invited us to a drink at the end.

It’s literally the best restaurant in Pula I visited and actually one the main reasons I’ll go back to the city - is this place. The communication and service were on the top level, very warm attention to the every guest. They said it’s family run business, so you really see that approach. Prices were really reasonable, I ate in Pula in much more expensive places which were just average bistros. It’s a pity I found it on my last day because I would had been eating here every evening.

Very welcome and charming staff. Great food, especially the fresh fish. Romantic location in a cute alley next to a gorgeous ruin. We loved the welcome drink as well, a lovely touch. It got chilly outside in April, but they had some blankets to help.

This restaurant was absolutely astonishing. Great atmosphere, and delicious food. The set-up of the restaurant is cozy and beautifully in an old street. This family owned restaurant is a must visit for everyone who will visit Pula! Thanks once again!

Delicious food prepared with care, dishes were served pretty quickly so we didn’t have to wait too long. Staff was helpful and had attention to detail. Great location with nice decor. Best lignje in Old Town. Definitely coming back next time.

Incredible food. Had some local dried meats and cheese for starters. Continued with a steak with truffle pasta. Finished with a T-bone steak. The meat was exceptional. Their olive oil is of great quality. Great selection of wines. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Pula.

It's a good place but somewhat underwhelming and overpriced for what we got. While it's something you'd expect in the busy touristy centre, we left with a feeling we'd eat more. The food was decent but not exceptional (as we anticipated according to the reviews and the location). Our sever was a star, speaking all possible languages we could challenge him with (our table spoke 5 languages in total). It was a good experience, but we expected more value for those prices.

Generally good restaurant, but cold dishes are too expensive and too little portions for what you get. However, main dishes taste well as well as the wine. The location and service is good too.
