It is one of the most relaxing places I've been with amazing game drives, a abundance of different wildlife to experience as well very professional and well informed rangers. They have a very welcoming staff who are quite friendly and do there utmost to make your stay at there wonderful lodges a memorable one.

We had never done a safari holiday before, but our experience at Kwandwe blew us away. The level of service, the quality of the safaris, the beauty of the reserve and the exceptional rooms made it such an unforgettable experience that I would recommend it to anyone. The price tag is high, but everything is included: food, beverages (included wine), safari drives, even laundry. We stayed at the Great Fish River Lodge, which is without doubt the best option for couples/adults with no children.

The ultimate game lodge experience. The staff are most professional in every respect. We were extremely fortunate to have experienced a cheetah kill on our 1st day and managed to see all the Big 5 on second day. Absolute world class experience.

One of the best locations in SA. Here you have really the chance to see the big five. I am a lucky guy and saw the big five between 5 safaris. I have done 15 safaris on other places, but overall, this is a really true lodge. Here the ranger use skills an not GPS tracker. Fantastic service, food, quality and quantity. Kwandwe offers a top class Eastern Cape safari experience which is an absolute delight. We have been twice to the tented camp and still want to go back. The hospitality is top class, the animal sightings were excellent and authentic as the reserve is huge. The guides and staff are passionate, caring and considerate of the animals. The rooms are private and in stunning settings. Plus, Kwandwe is very accessible to Cape Town. (1.5 hour flight plus 1.5 hour easy drive through beautiful country). A gem of a place. We have been to many game reserves in Southern Africa and this is our favourite.

What an amazing place, really had a wonderful time there. The accommodation was really 5 star. I was treatedwith a whole load of respect and was shown a great variety of animals which definitely made my trip worthwhile. Would definitely want to go back soon and would really like to spend more than just the 2 days there.

What a beautiful farm ! I really this farm has everything. Just driving to the rooms where you sleep i saw 3 herds of buffalo, 3 elephants, a herd of eland, a tower of giraffes and a herd of zebra. The lodges are beautiful and is a must do experience, the owners really took time and made it 5 star all round.

Have been a favourite of mine for many years, recommend that to many friends visiting the Cape Garden Route. Excellent lodge, great service and good food. Game viewing is the best you will find in the Cape

Zebra and elephant heaven with beautiful views. Its a shame they close just before sunset but definitely worth the trip 👌 would dedinitely go back and arrive earlier so i could see everything. Lots of interesting little routes everywhere, which we missed out on by not arriving in the morning. Still tons of animals everywhere to be seen and beautiful landscapes

Kwandwe is a magical place! The views are breathtaking and the wildlife thrilling. Loved staying at the lodge. Staff are super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.

It was so special to return to this area after many years, my previous visit having been during my school days, circa 1960, when it was a livestock farm.

Please have a service of fetching and dropping the clients from the entrance from the tar Road. Really can't go onn that gravel with a small car....

The nicest place in grahamstown to go for a get a way.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip to South Africa and it was amazing. I can't thank our tracker and guide (Doc and Tabong) enough.
