This was a lovely little place, staff were welcoming and friendly. Food portion was a little smaller than we expected, but tasted lovely. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very attentive service.

Y'all if you haven't been to red cafe yet you really have to go there. The food is delicious and just melts in your mouth. Why not grab a book and read while you're at it, the setting is such that it's perfect to read a book and do your work in different scenery.

Very nice and cozy place, it just gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling of being in gran's kitchen ❤️ Food took the longest time ever, had to quickly nibble and get up soon after it arrived. I know they're doing their best though 👍🏿

The waiter was really kind and welcoming. They should rinse their cups and mugs before serving, they were clean, but there was lint from clothes

As a venue selected for its vegan options, the salad was sparse and limp, and the falafel hard, dry and tasteless. While waiting for our food we overheard the owner reprimanding staff, who, we read on a sign on exit, work for tips only. Is that even allowed? Our waitress was great, though.

Fantastic as always. Lou and her team are gems. Haven't been in Grahamstown/ Makhanda for a long time, but when I do get here, it's a must! Thank you guys!
