Very delicious steak! Our server was very attentive. Good place to get a prime steak while visiting your kiddo at LA Tech! The grill is out in the open so you can see them cook your steak!

First time dining experience. The food and service was superb. Francesca was our waitress. She was very helpful and attentive. We ordered the Filet Medallions and Shrimp Martini for our appetizers and the ribeye steak, baked potato and the sautéed mushrooms. It was cooked/seasoned to perfection. The Medallions were so tender I was able to cut with my fork. We will definitely be back!!!

We ate brunch here for my wife’s birthday and it was a great experience all-around! Food was delicious (and we took leftovers home). Service was friendly and quick. Our family of 5 was well taken care of. We loved brunch and hope to be back soon!😊

My boyfriend and I came here to eat for my birthday this week and the food was amazing! Our server Hannah was also great with her recommendations and she was very sweet as well, I’ve already recommended this place to my friends and family here :)

Experience was absolutely perfect. The staff are very friendly. The steak was cooked perfectly. It's worth every penny. If you go, I would recomend the ribeye and the Crème brûlée.

Justin was a fantastic server, beey polite and helpful. We had the back wrapped tenderloin with the most amazing flavors. The berry salad was light and flavorful, while the baked potato had a delightful kick to it, without being too much. We thought we ordered tonhave room for dessert as the oreo beignets, but we did not. Next time!!

I am originally from Louisiana, so when I was in town I wanted to try this restaurant; especially after hearing so much about it. I ordered the Fried Alligator with Creole butter. I had never had Alligator before and man...he must have been a beast, because it was chewy. Even the server said that it was a tough one. So I ordered the Crab Cakes with Remoulade sauce and it was the best thing on the menu, well, besides the Beau-Rita drink. Now, as far as dinner, that's another story. I was expecting an 8oz Salmon simmered in lemon butter and Creole seasoning, topped with LA Satsuma glaze...instead, I some kind of butter, no Satsuma glaze, it was honey. Look closely at the picture I posted. I eat and cook too much salmon to know the difference. Will I be going back...uum, I don't think so.

Amazing food, very nice waitress and hostess. Tried the Po’ Boy with alligator and it was delicious. The sautéed mushrooms are also absolutely to die for. 5/5 all around!

If you are wanting a classy, relaxed, personal service atmosphere while visiting Ruston Louisiana then you MUST stop in and dine at BV's! You will not be disappointed!

If I could rate higher, I would! Melt-in-your mouth steak (no need for steak sauce!), excellent sides, top-notch service...I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend the alligator appetizer. It was the very best I've ever had! Absolutely LOVED our dining experience, here!

4 of us dined here, the place was busy, only steak house in Ruston that we could find. They charged fine dining prices without fine dining atmosphere. However, the food was pretty good. The drinks were not so good, ordered an old-fashioned and it looked like mostly sweet and sour mix. The waiter was very nice. We ordered the braised pork belly as an app, it was very good, ribeye was on point, the filet, mesh. Also recommend the bacon wrapped green beans

Food was mostly good. Alligator was a bit of a letdown. The sound echoes because the restaurant is one big room, including parts of the kitchen. It's very loud when full. I think my main issue is that I did not value the food or venue highly enough for the prices. That being said, they have good cocktails, and I recommend going around Mardi Gras, as their Mardi Gras dessert was truly very delicious! Filled beignets with ice cream.

I have came to this location many times in the past when I am in Ruston. I once was amazing and had one of the best dine in experience at this very restaurant. However I don’t plan to come back again. I give this place 2 stars and not 1 star because the food is fairly good. However the service dropped by a lot. You won’t get treated the same as the table next to you.

Our family went for my mother's 71st birthday dinner and it was wonderful. Our server was lovely and did a great job, all of the food was heavenly, and they even sent it a beautiful dessert for Mom.

Ribeyes came out perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare. The waitress was very good looking and very attentive. I'm traveling for work but would definitely recommend this place and will stop by again next time I'm in town.

Reservation worked great, hostess was friendly & professional. Food was timely and outstanding. Bill for 3 was $265. However, service was poor: difficult to get water, a second glass of wine and the bill. Restaurant was about 1/2 full and looked like our waiter had 2 tables.

The waitress charged me $150 for a meal that wasn’t mine. I guess she somehow mixed tickets up, but how do you do even do that when everyone’s card is in a different folder????

We were told this is a great restaurant but it's not run like a great restaurant. Trying to eat and have put our order in thirty minutes ago and was just told another twenty minutes to wait still. We don't have time for a two hour breakfast.

The food was fine although the presentation was nothing more than, "get it on a plate". The service was slow and spotty. No water. Really?? Finally we had to ask. EXTREMELY noisy. Hard to have a conversation. That being said , it's probably the best that Rustin has to offer.

I’ve eaten here several times and no matter what, every time, the staff is super friendly and so kind. 9/10 times that I come in they’re extremely busy, which is a testament to how good the food is. My steak is always cooked perfectly and the apps and Oreo beignets are divine. And because they’re a busy restaurant, sometimes there might be a small wait for drinks or food. I’m happy to be patient, because it’s clear everyone here works hard to make it a great experience and I appreciate the wonderful service and amazing food. I can’t recommend them enough! Also try the honeysuckle whiskey if you want a drink, it’s my favorite!
