We made a good experience in this hostel. It is located perfectly in the city centre next to the best tapas street in town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and beds were clean. The only thing I missed were more enchufes (plugs) in the rooms. Thank everyone for making our stay a comfortable one.

Big and really clean bedrooms and bathrooms - props to the lovely cleaning ladies :) -, comfortable beds. Friendly and professional staff, decent breakfast and cozy common area. The place looks new and shinning!

Very quiet hostel and to be honest it felt more like a hotel with a 10 bedroom than a hostel. The shower and room was cleaned every day and ambient is very nice to look at. The breakfast is okay but nothing special. If you stay here don't expect a lot of partys.

What a great place!! We stayed in a 2p room with an ensuite bathroom for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly, the room was nice and very clean. We hung out at the bar a few times: great service and tapas! We watched a few of the world cup men's football here, nice vibe! They hosted a few parties in the court yard, which they invited us to as well, so that was really nice and we didn't hear any noise from the room. We could practice our Spanish a bit with the staff and they answered all our questions. I can definitely recommend staying here!

Contrary to what they clearly advertise with their pictures, there is no common space. It has been converted into a restaurant with live music that plays quite loudly until 1am. Cleanliness could be improved... moldy bathroom and saw a roach in the kitchen. They also charge €2 to keep your bags after checkout — I typically wouldn’t mind too much, but in this case it’s kept in an unlocked room next to the entrance that isn’t supervised at all times. But hey, it’s cheap! Sharing the above so you can make an informed decision.

Great two nights stay, lovely and cosy rooms, with a really good atmosphere throughout. Perfect location to walk all round Granada.

My partner and I had a comfortable stay here. The location is great if you want to be close to lots of restaurants and staying in a lovely old area of the city. The room was comfortable and it was great to have AC during such a hot weekend. However, we did have some complaints. The kitchen really wasn't adequate - there was no refrigerator or other place to store cold or dry foods. The hangout area was only upstairs and really wasn't a nice space for meeting people. This felt more like a motel than a hostel that facilitates meeting.

Excellent location and the most friendly and helpful staff! The hostel is located in the heart of the city and the building has a typical granada design with a restaurant attached that serves good tapas and some flamenco shows. My mum and I are very happy to have chosen this place to enjoy my time in Granada. All the best for Mii Mercador de Sedas!

The staff is not that friendly. I got a really basic service for the check in. The room is great but there's only one toilet in a room for 10 people so only one shower. However, it is well located. There's a kitchen available and it's clean. The hostel offer an optional breakfast for 3€.

Beds were not made at check in, they only brought the sheets and they just expect you to ''DIY''. Wifi is not working in the room and is VERY slow. The pictures are NOT accurate! It looks much cleaner and nicer on thr pictures than the actual place. Kitchen has basically nothing, it's reduced minimalism (1 bowl, 1 cup, a few plates, 2 forks, 1 spoon...for the whole hostel, but hey, they have about 25 chairs piled up in the kitchen (how practical!!). Only 1 plug outlet for 10 beds in the dorms and 1 main light... They clearly don't care about their guests because it's been mentioned many times in the reviews and nobody has made any efforts to improve. Stairs are not lit at night = dangerous. Noisy because of the restaurant at night downstairs. They charge 2 euros per bag to keep after check out. The receptionist told us something when we checked-in (about us staying in the (non-existant) common area to wait for our bus at night, and the opposite when we checked-out. Awful place, don't stay there! The only positive side is the location.

Excellent location to be in the heart of this lovely city. Clean from the inside and very affordable.

A little bit overcrowded but well maintained.Breakfast is not very lavish but as a young traveller is ok.Strange thing is you have to wash you dishes.I always felt my plate was not fully washed after seeing how other wash the cup nad plates, so washed my things everytime i start to have breakfast.

Good location and comfortable room but very weak light and the worst of the hotel is its sound isolation, so so so so terrible, I can totally heard the voice from the lobby....

Good hostel in city centre. Wi-Fi did not work and there was an old piece of paper saying they are fixing it. Only a few power outlets for the whole room (12 persons)?? Staff has difficulties speaking english. If you come by car, ask them to send you turn-by-turn directions because of restricted areas for traffic.

Nice place, good breakfest, very safe. No wifi in bedrooms doh.
