This was a great little hotel nestled on a quiet street near all the important "tourist" connection points. The hostel is spotless, all new, and friendly. Our room was a little on the small side but we didn't care. We stayed three nights. The price was very fair. My husband needed medical attention while in Granada and they were very helpful in directing us to the proper facility.

My fiancee and I were recently travelling in Spain, and we found this hotel through Google Maps. It was the low season, so we were able to book for two nights the day before we arrived. We think the people who run the hotel are a married couple; in any event there were a man and a woman. He speaks good English, she and my fiancee (who speaks some Spanish) could communicate well enough. We were even able to extend for a third night when we decided we wanted to spend an extra day in Granada, but I certainly wouldn't count on this, even in the low season. The rate was good, and the room was very nice - clean and comfortable. The location is great for most of the local attractions. It's about a five-minute walk from the cathedral, and even walking to the Alhambra isn't unreasonable. The service was very good, too -- when we arrived, the man was working the reception desk. He gave us a map of the town, which he marked with places to go, including good places for breakfast, tapas, and churros with chocolate. The Plaza de la Trinidad has several bars which also serve breakfast, which is very convenient. We would definitely stay here again were we to return.

What a wonderful place to live in! Perfect location in city center! The hotel is very beautifully decorated, with bit moorish style. Everything is new! The bed is very comfortable, there is also a rooftop! Rodri triggered our memory of Riad in Morocco! The host is super friendly and helpful. He took the time to mark the nice places for us to visit on map. All the places that he recommended are indeed wonderful. All restaurants and bars that he recommended are also very good. The food are special and delicious. The flamingo show is also very good! Since we bought tickets at the hotel, we got very good seats, first row! We definitely will come back if we visit Granada again. Thanks for providing us this pleasant stay!

Best accommodation, best location, best price… and cherry on the cake, Jose, the receptionist, is the nicest host in Granada. The best I’ve ever met. I strongly recommend this establishment

**A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Granada: Hostal Rodri** From the moment I stepped into Hostal Rodri in Granada, I knew my stay would be memorable. Tucked away in the bustling heart of the city, this charming hostel is a haven of tranquility and warmth. **Accommodations: 5/5** The rooms at Hostal Rodri are a delightful surprise. Spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully decorated, they offer a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the ambient lighting, creates a cozy, home-like atmosphere. **Service: 5/5** What truly sets Hostal Rodri apart is its exceptional service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Their local insights and recommendations enriched my visit, guiding me to hidden gems in Granada that I would have otherwise missed. **Location: 5/5** Situated in the heart of Granada, the hostel is a perfect base for exploring. Major attractions like the Alhambra, the Cathedral, and the Albayzín district are within easy walking distance. Despite its central location, the hostel remains a peaceful sanctuary, thanks to its thoughtful design and layout. **Amenities: 4.5/5** Hostal Rodri offers all the essential amenities and then some. Free Wi-Fi, a common area for socializing, and a lovely patio where guests can relax are just a few highlights. The only thing missing is an on-site restaurant, but given the plethora of dining options nearby, this is hardly a drawback. **Value: 5/5** For the quality of the experience, the prices at Hostal Rodri are incredibly reasonable. It offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and affordability, making it an excellent choice for travelers of all types. **Overall: 5/5** Hostal Rodri is more than just a place to stay; it's a home away from home. Its blend of comfort, style, and warm hospitality makes it a standout accommodation in Granada. Whether you're a solo traveler or visiting with family, Hostal Rodri promises an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

I was so happy to find this place thanks to the reviews in booking.com. Three minutes from the Cathedral and an easy walk everywhere. Very lovely, secure and clean. Jose at reception goes the extra mile and travelling around in various hotels and places, I can say he did made a difference to my stay...offering me all the information about Granada, places I should go..eat...drink...locals...etc. Excellent price...would give more stars if I could.

Stayed 3 nights in April. The day we arrived Granada was an unusual raining day and we felt home right away when the Rodri host helped us checking in the room. The host was very nice, caring, and professional, took time to go over local attractions, restaurants, coffee shops,... He even helped with parking our car! The near-by parking facility is indoor/secure, and you receive discount! Hostal Rodri is elegant, quiet, clean, and cozy. The bed is very comfortable and the bath room is modern, and its location is excellent, super convenient! Strongly recommend!

Excellent stay here, Jose is the friendliest and most helpful receptionist I have ever met at a hotel and upon arrival he marked up a map with all of the best restaurants, entrance for Alhambra, and transportation tips. He even arranged for his partner to call a taxi for us at 7:30am, which is before their office hours, and she knocked on our door when the taxi was downstairs! Seriously so impressed. It’s clean here, good location, and the best service. Highly recommend without a doubt.

Wonderful stuff and great location! He introduced all the good tips on the 1st day with map! Very helpful and friendly. Super close to shops, bars, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets. The room is very cozy clean and nice but no trash bin.

Room looks lovely, receptionist was great giving lots of useful information of where to go and what to do. Brilliant location very near the cathedral but in a quiet back street, highly recommended.

The hotel is good, clean, the beds are comfortable. The location is great, near everything that you must visit in Granada. The hotel has a parking at good price, which is big advantage. But the best is the boy at the reception who was so kind to explain and show us where to eat, what to visit, how to go to Alhambra. He was able to answer to all our questions, thank you for contributing for our great stay in Granada.

This was probably one of the best places ever in this category. Everything is smooth and relaxed, our room was among the smaller, but very comfortable and super clean. Plus it had a bathroom with a small balcony! Where else do you get that? ☺️ You can get by a car right in front of the hotel to unload the luggage. After that you can try your luck finding a free curb parking or simply use hotel garage for a fee. Must also mention very useful tips from the receptionist. He is a true treasure of this hotel 😉

We stay just for one night but from the moment we arrived, the stuff were very welcoming and profesional, they give us all information about activities in Granada, help us to find places to visit, eat and drink, we meet Jose and his professionalism and helpfulness were top quality. You can park in the hotel if they have space available (which the stuff will take care of the parking itself) and the hostal is in a good location for visiting the city

We were greeted by Jose, who was very helpful in checking us in and providing us with a guide to Granada and good local dining options. The hostal is located close to the Cathedral and shopping areas as well as buses to Alhambra (#C3) and the Albaicin (#C1) It's in a quiet area with breakfast options close by. No fridge, or I would have given it 5 stars.

An excellent find on the web, used for an overnight stay and will definitely return there again. Well situated with friendly staff. We had a double room which was well appointed, clean with a good sized bathroom. Also very conveniently situated within walking distance of lots of historic monuments, tapas bars, lovely plazas and in fact so much to do. I believe they have their own parking but as the road was been renovated the owner arranged discounted parking in a secure public car park for a very reasonable price. Overall made for a vey enjoyable stay and will recommend to all my friends. Oh, must not forget the price which was excellent. If you are visiting Granada check out Hostal Rodri.

Hostal Rodri is an absolute gem, perfectly nestled almost nextdoor to the Cathedral of Granada and within walking distance of every wonderful experience Granada has to offer. My husband and I stayed March 8-11/2023 in this smartly appointed hotel. Much time and consideration has been put into the architecture, room design and interior decor— we are not sure how old it is, but it appears to be absolutely brand new inside, and is warm and welcoming throughout. We had a large comfortable room and bed, sparkling clean brand new bathroom, lovely windows, large wardrobe to store our clothing and suitcases in, and were impressed with how quiet and peaceful our sleep was all three nights. Do take time during check-in at the front desk to allow Josè to point out dining/landmarks/tapas bars/city highlights/historical features on the map that he draws out and gives you— very useful in navigating and finding all the other little gems this lovely city offers. We will definitely stay at Hostal Rodri next time we visit Granada, Spain. It is classy and cozy, all in an unassuming way.

It feels like a 5 star hotel thanks to Jose! He’s so kind and helpful with lots of tips & advice. The room is comfortable, clean & has all I needed incl a kettle & high quality hairdryer. The location is central yet peaceful as it’s on a quiet street.
