We booked 2 “adjoining rooms” online and I called to confirm they were adjoining with the front desk. The very nice fellow that I spoke to moved me to the rooms together as online it was incorrect. When I arrived, not only had they given my rooms away but we were no where near each other and my kids would have been in a completely different area. We ask to be moved closer and they charged us more as the next door room was a “suite”. It difference was $6 per night which is next to nothing, but as it was their error, you would think it would be comped. The second room wasn’t available to check in until almost 5pm and when we requested an extra 1hr in just 1 of the rooms from 11 - 12pm checkout they claimed it was a full house that (Sunday) night and could not accommodate. We packed the car and left, came back at noon to pick up the car and the parking lot was empty. Not a single car in the parking lot. So when they say they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, that was not my experience at all. Every chance they had to go the extra mile to help satisfy someone that was let down repeatedly and they refused. It’s really unfortunate as the location is great. Springhill suites is across the street and where we typically stay, always had great experiences so although we wanted to give this a chance it was incredibly disappointing.

I loved my room. It was the King Suite. Price was worth every penny. I had a late flight and the reception was willing to work with me on a checkout time. Very thankful for their hospitality especially during an already stressful time.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Exceptionally clean and well maintained with the highest level of customer service. But no one can top the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Roberta and Mark are wonderful but everyone was courteous and helpful. Exceptional staff! Including Harry and Marissa and everyone in culinary and housekeeping. They had good things to say about Hilton and their management too. Seems like a great place to work as well as stay! Highly recommend!

The hotel is very clean and the staff are professional and friendly. The floor soundproofing is better in this hotel than in most. The breakfast items and coffee are OK given they are complimentary, but not great. One annoyance is the slogans this chain hangs everywhere like “smile” and “lol” like some bizarre corporate brainwashing. What if people are staying in town for a funeral and are forced to look at the mandatory “smile” command behind the front desk? Apparently not smiling isn’t OK in this hotel.

I was here for an interview with a Trucking company and the accommodations here were wonderful as well as there customer service. Very clean and you can tell they take pride in the cleanliness and their customer service.

The entire staff is running this beautiful hotel into the ground. I have traveled the country and stayed at hundreds of hotels. Hampton is usually a home run no matter what city you're in. Let me explain my experience, as my review will surely be seen first. I've been in Grand Forks for over a month. In that time, I've seen a few hotels. We settled in at the Baymont for an incredible price. The suite we have been in had been booked months out for a weekend during our stay. The entire hotel is booked. We used the app and booked the Hampton down the road for a week. A king studio suite for 2 adults and 2 teens. The day before check in comes and our job needs us early, so naturally we check to see if the suite is available the night before at the Hampton. Night #1- front desk not at station. Wouldn't even look at my reservation. Let me know they were sold out. I asked if she could leave a note asking for an early check in. Was told my best bet was to check tomorrow with front desk. (This would be the most helpful information I got the entire stay.) The next morning, I come in at 9 to begin the communication process, since we will be transitioning a month of items from one hotel to the next in the cold rain. Front desk seemed friendly. The manager was clearly on duty and too busy flirting with an extended stay dude to notice what was going on, or act concerned... But I was told it could take a bit to get my room and there's NOTHING they can do. I simply asked if housekeeping could be let known we were going to be out in the rain if our suite wasn't ready by around noon. Was told to keep checking, so I did. Every 45 min until 2 pm... No one even communicated with housekeeping because we got placed in the wrong room after I told the front desk girl it should be a studio suite and was corrected that "all king suites are the same" They are not. Also, my reservation was changed so, the original was lost and instead of taking the blame, I lost my original reservation through the 13th as well ... When all hotels are sold out in town. AND and im in a regular king bed room, paying 300$ more than my original reservation and everyone is passing the blame, so I have to eat this apparently. The beautiful karma in this is they didn't know I am a Google reviewer with millions of photo views, so that'll be a fun surprise. It's a group of Cady girls running the show here, trying to not be inconvenienced and collect their check at the end of the week. Now I'm up at 4 am every day with sounds of water shooting from my bathroom walls every time anyone in the building flushes I think... Maybe uses water in general. And no one wants to take responsibility, so I will. No one stay here unless you have to. The pool and hot tub need to be scrubbed. It's actually gross. You can see the skin cells stuck to the sides and floors. And the coffee is seriously gross all the time. No one restocks or does ANYTHING extra. Everyone working here is collecting a paycheck and passing blame. Buyer beware. If you get screwed, they don't even offer lube. Don't stay here. There's 15 hotels in the exact same area... The others I've seen do not conduct business this way. When my weekly bill is over $1k, we deserve a little recognition that someone may have dropped the ball so we aren't having to pay for their ego with our bank account. Update: I'm still at the hotel, and have tried to resolve the issue twice and the blame was put back on us. I would like to shine a bright light on the maintenance man of this place. He does everything there. Everything. And he's the only person who has treated us like we matter the entire time we have stayed there. Without him running everything behind the scenes, the hotel wouldn't run at all. Now that there has been a reply online, I wonder if the issue will be resolved in person or if I'll just continue to get awkward eye contact and no greetings as I enter and leave. Update #2- Now, I just get creepy dudes that sit in the lobby talking to front desk and call me by name, proving my info is being violated. Absurd.

we had to make a quick reservation last Saturday and they were great about getting us a room. The room was big, bed was comfy but i'm not a fan of feather pillows so next time ill bring my own. Service was great, the breakfast was also great!

Very disappointed with our stay. We checked in on line and when we arrived our room was not ready. After a long day riding, we had to wait 45 minutes to get into our room. Walls are thin, we listened to the next rooms conversation until about 11 PM. Breakfast was fair at best, coffee machine was broken, no syrup for the waffles, replenishment was slow to come out. I'm not trying to be a "Karen" but if you're going to charge premium rates, you have to up your game as well. I was a Diamond status with Hilton before I retired, and I'm seeing Hampton raising their rates, and service and quality going down. Slowly converting to Best Western and Choice for accommodations.

Nice hotel all in all. The pool was much colder than we would have liked. Kids didnt spend much time in it. They had to keep warming up in the hot tub. Nice breakfast with your generic breakfast to be provided. The room was a bit nicer and bigger than the normal room.

Our vehicle was inoperable shortly after we arrived for our stay due to unforeseen circumstances. The staff was supportive and very helpful. Friendly and accommodating throughout. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

We came to stay here from Canada (our first trip back since covid )The staff was rarely at the front desk when we needed something and if they were they were constantly on their phones. They weren’t accommodating when we needed a taxi or a ride to a restaurant no big deal I guess for that. Our room didn’t get cleaned in the couple nights we were there because apparently you have to special request? The check out time on our itinerary was 12pm so we were taking our time and trying to get our receipts in order for the border a girl from the front desk calls and says check out is 11. I went into panic mode and told them we would be right down. In the next five minutes they called another three times to tell us to get out of the room. Honestly I was just throwing things in our bags trying to rush and I wanted to double check maybe I was wrong so I went into my emails and sure enough it was 12 so when we got downstairs the girl was very short and said yeah well we changed our check out time… So pretty much false advertising and even if you haven’t gotten around to change it… you should honour it until you get around to change it. I work in a hotel back home about two hours away on the Canada side so I know how customer service works and how you should accommodate guests. I will continue to tell all my friends and guests to stay away from booking this hotel !

Have visited multiple times now and have never had any issues. I love places that give you tons of towels and pillows upfront. The check in process is quick.

The TV in our room is not working but they transferred us to a different room. There is a noise going on from time to time behind the walls of our room, I am not sure if it's the other guests or it's in the hotel. It sounds mechanical or doors/cabinets being slammed. What I really loved about this place is the breakfast, good food!!! God bless the chef, he is very accomodating. It feels like at home every morning when we are having breakfast :)

This is one of the nicest, cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at in the last year. The pool area was nice and clean, which is rare. The room was beyond my expectations and I’d stay here again without hesitation. This hotel should be a model for other hotels.

Stayed here recently for a friends wedding. Very nice hotel. Has great conversations with then night clerk Jeremy, he as A++ and goes above and beyond to help people. Rooms were good sized and very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good here, and the breakfast attendants ask you if there is anything you'd like them to make the next day, which is really awesome. Certainly not something I have experienced before. Good Hotel, highly recommended if staying in the Grand Forks area.

We stayed for two nights This hotel is conveniently located close to i29 The staff was super friendly and helpful at check-in and check out. The room was comfortable and clean, although I would have appreciated a plastic recycling "blue bin" in the room. All they have in the room is a tiny little waste basket. We drove our used plastic water bottles back to Canada to come and recycle it here. This location offers a pretty decent breakfast which actually includes protein in the form of eggs and sausages. The usual "make your own pancake" or "toast your own bagel with cream cheese" is available as well. All in all, our stay was pleasant and without incident. One thing that irks me though...This hotel offers no room service and/or minibar services, and really should not place a hold on your credit card for "incidentals". I am a law abiding, hard working responsible individual. When your booking is done and paid for in advance, through services on behalf of a Visa Infinite Privilege member, it would be nice to be treated with a little bit of dignity and trust. I am not a fan of being treated like the lowest common denominator.
