It's a very nice park. I pitched up a friend there. It was peaceful & well taken care of. Plenty of tables & trees!

When the tornado went through Grand Island, no one would have believe all of the damage that was done untill you saw where a lot of the debris was dumped this hill and park stands as a reminder of those who lost homes businesses and to those who died or were injured that night. And to those who came to help out.

I read the story on this while finding something to do in GI. I have always been fascinated with tornados & do photography of storms, so I had to go visit. Also makes a great pokemon spot.

Park is well maintained and the playground equipment is structurally sound. The kids love to play here. Lots of shade trees.

I took my dad for a walk and he was in a wheelchair. No so wheelchair friendly. The sidewalk was all up and down not even at all. Made it really rough for the wheelchair.

Tornado Hill is next too, or part of Ryder Park. I visited ballfield. It needs a turf field, but orherwise is a good field and park to watch baseball games

Fun watching my 7 year old practicing for his game next week. The boys played at the park while BACA watched them. They are very friendly

The hill needs a set of stairs for sledders

Only place around to sled and dangerous with particles of metal sticking up out of ground needs to be redone so it's safer for our community.

It was great for the two 10y/o. They would be there everyday if I would let them. I won't let them go by themselves. I sit in the truck reading books so it's good for Gma too.

Newish tennis courts are nice. Flat concrete with good paint and fencing with the wind protection.

It's a hill. Most people wouldn't know what it is unless someone told them. The park and the softballs stuff is really cool. Great for sledding in the winter. Biking and running challenges in the summer. Mostly ball game stuff though.
