Great place to eat! Not as much chicken on the menu for chicken being in the title, but still a great family place.

I 1st went here a couple months ago and just by recommendation of one of the staff got the Jack Daniel's bourbon whiskey chicken wings. Absolutely bomb awesome. I loved it so much, I drove Out of my way to come back for them tonight.. And I also tried to sweet & sour while I was there too. Those were delicious. Savory, sweet and I wanted more. I can't say enough good things about this eating establishment. Easily a top 5 place in the entire state of Nebraska in my opinion.

The food is a good strong 4.5. However, the service was average from our waitress, and down right rude from another waitress. What this rating should be is a 1 for the nefarious way they charge an additional 20% to you bill to ensure that you have enough to give a 20% tip, then roll it off in 2 days and charge what you actually tip. The practice is assumptive that they earned a tip, and assumed a 20% tip. I will not eat there again because of this

5/5 experience. I stopped here with a coworker for a quick bite to eat. We were there at noon, probably the worst time to arrive anywhere for lunch. After we sat down the waitress started going around telling each table they're short a cook and there's only one person working on food. The place was packed! 15 minutes after we placed our orders, our food arrived. I was ready to wait +30-+45 minutes. My mind was blown at how fast the service was! If that's a slow day, what does a good day look like? On top of the fast service, the food was hot, it tasted great, and as someone who doesn't care for fries, even their fries were cooked and seasoned amazingly.

Good food in a cool speakeasy vibe downtown location. We stopped in while traveling through Nebraska, looking for a good non-chain dinner. Service was prompt and attentive. Very quick on the refills. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Good BBQ sauce, not too sweet or overpowering. Good balance. My son and I inhaled these. The BBQ beans were excellent, sweet with pulled pork in them. Definitely worth getting. I also had the hashbrown casserole. It was a bit mushy, cheesy. My wife didn't like it, I thought it was fine. It reminded me of a potluck side dish. Dunno if this is a Nebraska thing, but I thought it was worth the try. The onion rings were great. Nothing unique, but well cooked, hot and tasty. The pulled pork sandwich was a bit overcooked. Softer than we prefer. I'd try something different next time. They had what looked like a good selection of microbrews. I tried the homemade root beer. It was good, and free refills - bonus! Would I recommend? Absolutely.

Great food, excellent service, our waitress was awesome, building is a little loud when it's full but still a great place to eat or drink.

Wife ordered house salad with thousand island dressing. Dressing was horrible. Also ordered wings with Buffalo sauce. Small round balls are not Wings. You gotta do better than this!

My sister's and I went here together and we had a great time. The food was great, and our server was super friendly. I highly recommend their quesodilla and fried cauliflower!

A GI staple! I had wings and my friends had sandwiches. Everything was delicious. Our server checked on us frequently. The spicy garlic wings were recommended by our server and they did not disappoint! Beer was cold too!

We came here with a large group of 20. The place is large enough to handle us. The food was ok. The only issue was that they left some of our food under the heat lamp for 20 minutes while the rest of the meals cooked. So half of us got cold hard fries / food. Otherwise I bet if we were a smaller group we'd have 5 stars. I'd suggest bringing out food as it gets ready so that the food was fresh.

I haven't been here in years. Boy did I miss this place. The food and service are top notch! Buck Nasty wings all the way! The cheese curds, gizzards, mushrooms and Buffalo chips were all amazing. Shout out to Brandy our waitress who made the kids feel so welcome. Must stop if you are in the area.

First, our waiter did a good job! But I ordered a taco salad with chicken rather than the taco meat, due to dietary restrictions, and I did not get chicken and then to top it off I found a twisty tie in the salad. I got a different salad but we weren't offered a discount or coupon or anything. Not impressed and my mom was embarrassed because I had never been there and she wanted me to try it.

Extra charge on my bill for credit card. Would been nice to be told. Waitresses needs to be trained to get refills

Friday and Saturday prime rib special was great. Tender and delicious. I really liked the way they cook the sweet potato fries too.

The Totally Jack Burger w/ Sweet potato fries was awesome! Everyone enjoyed their food and service! Returned on Wednesday night Burgers Night. Excellent food and Service!

Great place to go and eat. Good atmosphere good wait staff.

Have not tried a bad chicken item yet... I did need my wings extra crispy on the 2nd visit but overall good food and value.

Waitress was friendly, service was quick, bathrooms were clean, didn't enjoy the philly cheese steak but the pulled pork was great! Overall would return and recommend.

I ordered a burger of some kind a couple months ago and it was awful!!!!! The first time I got it it was way over cooked! It tasted like I was licking a charcoal gril !The waitress took it back for me and had them remake it! Yea right!! second time was still awful! I left hungry!!

I had delicious food, my waitress was polite, she got my order correct, and was prompt at refilling my drink. However....while I was eating I looked around the restaurant, and there was a waitress chomping on gum. While eating, I do not want to see someone's tonsils. Plus, I do believe if you're working with food, no gum. (FDA rule)

Drinks were cold and served in bottles so no room for error. Server was busy, but was obviously not a people person. Steaks ordered rare and medium were served well done, ribs were good, salmon was overcooked, nothing came out even warm - baked potato couldn't melt butter.

Very friendly service. Must try the Jalapeno Garlic Fire Grilled Wings. Best wings I have ever had.

Had the Prime rib sandwich dip. Delicious. Very tender

Always great bar service and I have to admit I go out of my way when I'm in town to stop because they feature thunderhead brewery. Great bar in downtown Grand Island

I went to the Chicken Coop with my coworkers for a business lunch and it ended up being fine. I had a chicken wing from the apps and a piece of fried pickle and they were just fine. Didn't really stand out. They have a lot of variety on the menu from pizza to wings to sandwiches. I expected it to be more chicken focused and for the chicken to be their thing. The bit I had was fine. I got the rueben sandwich for my entree and it was ok as well. I've had waaaay better sandwiches for sure. Overall it was fine.

Found out this place is a great place ,if you got kids or not.Probly one of the very top places to go in grandisland, don't let the outside look from going in,once you go inside it changes. Really a great place.

The food is always great. The food was a little slow getting out this time. May have been short staff.
