Great place for good food! I started with the spinach artichoke dip then rolled right into the housemade Bangers and Mash w/ Onion gravy. A fresh roll with butter- honey – cinnamon. All what you'd expect from a friendly, neighborhood pub. The bread pudding had deep balanced notes of cinnamon and cloves, with the perfect texture. The cinnamon ice cream put it way over the top. I will be back to try many other traditional creations!

Stopped in for a late lunch while doing business in GI. The atmosphere was nice, the service was great and the food was delicious. The spicy Bloody Mary was awesome!

Great atmosphere and even better food. I didn't know what to expect at first because I'm not much of a drinker, but man the food didn't disappoint! Will absolutely be going back soon.

The place is very nice, the service is excellent, the drinks were very tasty, I recommend the banana split and the exquisite chicken wings, it is one of the richest bars in the city, I recommend it What I like most about this bar is that it closes at 1, that is, it is an excellent option for the city !!!

Service wasn't too great. Sat directly at the bar. Usually interaction sitting at the bar is more fun than sitting at a table. Had drinks and dinner. Two servers / bartenders attending bar and restaurant with maybe 4 tables seating 2 at the most at each table. Still had to ask for our order to be taken. Asked about certain foods on the menu and got the basic answer "I like it". So not much help there either. One bartender did know her beers pretty well which was nice. She knew what to offer by what we said we were looking for. And she did give me a tester. She was kind. But not to attentive. Had to ask for our order to be taken after sitting AT THE BAR for quite some time. Had to ask for silverware and condiments. Food wasnt anything signature. Was attended to only in passing. Staff wore gym looking type of clothing. Wasn't too uniform there on anything. Was a nice establishment and given the right staff could be a place I would return to and try different foods from their menu. All in all wasn't too impressed. Bill for 2 was about $50 (somewhere in there anyway) between the 2 of them we left a $2 tip. And I always tip well and am very understanding to situations such as being busy or even having a rough shift, been a server many years myself, but this was just a lack of interest in their job. Sorry guys totally thumbs down!!

First time there. Will definitely be back. Service was great, and the food was fantastic. The Mckinneys Ale was perfect. My pulled pork sandwich was spot on, and my husband's jalapeno bacon burger we cooked just right. I'm glad we discovered this place!

Busy Saturday night. Kitchen closes at 10 and still willingly served us food at 9:50. Food was fresh and hot. Drinks were great. Server was super friendly, fast, and effecient. Only complaint is the noise level is crazy loud but it's a bar, so we understand.

Two adults, three kids. Five full meals and a beer for 55 bucks can't beat that. Kids had burgers and grilled cheese on sourdough, wife had the Irish coddle, I had bangers and mash. Food was great, server was great.

What a nice evening! The service wasn't the fastest in the world, but it was friendly and efficient. Our server was such fun and had great suggestions. Enjoyed a great meal, great beer, great friends, and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Would love to go back!

We all ended up throwing our food away just now. Ordered on door dash and from the time I placed the order to drop off was about 15-20 min so no reason the food shouldn't have been fresh. Meat on the Philly and the BBQ pork sandwich was so dry it was inedible. The artichoke dip was in a disintegrating styrofoam bowl with burn holes in it yet weirdly no very hot?? My guess is everything was just microwaved from how dry and the burned dip. Never again. Thankfully doordash refunded most of it.

I recently dined at McKinney's Irish Pub and was thoroughly impressed by their authentic Irish offerings. The Irish Dunker was a comforting blend of savory flavors, the bread perfectly toasted to complement the hearty meat and cheese. However, it was the Jameson BBQ Bacon Burger that stole the show — the patty was juicy, and the Jameson-infused BBQ sauce added a unique kick that elevated the whole experience. But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the Guinness Float for dessert. A whimsical yet brilliant pairing, the rich stout melded beautifully with the creamy cinnamon ice cream. The ambiance was warm, replete with wooden accents and Irish paraphernalia that transported me straight to Dublin. A must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Irish culinary experience.

Went with my husband last night. First time visiting this pub, we were celebrating our anniversary. We loved this place. Good service, friendly bartenders. Definitely will come back again

Very fun small town bar, except for the patrons that demand the back door to the smoking area remain open so the entire back half of the bar is cold and smells like cigarette smoke. Not ideal, but not 100% the bar’s fault either.

The food is amazing! But its definitely reasonable just to go for the drinks.

This restaurant has good food. It’s one of the best one here in Grand island. I had the fish and chips and the Irish stew both good. They made the Irish stew in a traditional way. Guinness, lamp, potatoes, onion, celery and carrots. I think It was the best item in the menu. The Guinness was decent. I have to say that they don’t know how to pour it though. People in Ireland will die seeing the bartender pouring the stout without the 2 minutes in between. I still enjoy it though.

Amazing experience! Noah our bartender suggested the best brew I’ve ever had! They rim the glass with cinnamon and sugar and fill it with pumpkin ale, it was absolutely delicious and beyond the expectations! Would recommend this place to everyone! 🥰

If I were typing this review a couple months ago, it would be 4 stars. Drinks are inconsistent but the server my group had was amazing. She has since changed hours and unfortunately isn't there when we are anymore. The other staff is hit and miss and nothing close to the best. After trying to be charged for more drinks than I had this last time, I was also argued with about it. Horrible service. Update: Levi has single handedly turned this review around with his amazing customer service! Thank you Levi 🤝

We wanted to love this place for the Irish menu. The server, Kayla, was amazing. It’s probably a fun place to hang out, but the food was just okay. We will be here for a week and we’re just not sure we will come back a second time for a meal. Kayla is an asset for sure.

Very bad experience I do not understand why they do not accept ID from other states they have very rude, the attention of the horrible waiters they treat tourists very badly either from other countries or other states. And the woman who is at the bar, who is apparently the manager, treats people badly and presented an attitude of irony and superiority. I never visit this place again

Went in Tuesday for glass night. Ordered my bud light seltzer to get the matching glass and ended up having some drinks and dinner with some buddies. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff

I stopped here because I saw a lot of people inside I figured it was good. Great conversation from the bartender and the shepherd's pie was excellent

  • 1/5 Cody T. 2 years ago on Google
Ordered Shepard's Pie for delivery. This was the $11 plate of dry, overcooked slop I received that looks like it was scraped off someone else's plate after it sat out for hours. It was cold, the meat was rubber and the potatoes had a crust that only comes from sitting out in open air at room temperature for an extended period of time.

Great service from Noah despite the fact he was running like crazy from the moment we got there. Very friendly! Interesting atmosphere, great food. I got the buffalo mac and my boyfriend got the Pub Panini. Highly recommend!

The food is delicious. I had the Irish burger and champ. The corned beef on the burger was so tender. My husband enjoyed his Jameson bbq bacon burger and spiral fries. He said the burger had a little kick of heat but he loves spicy. Our waitress was on top of things and was friendly. It was a little noisy but that's to be expected in a pub on a Saturday night. We'll definitely be back.
