Great food! Great attitudes! Fun to be in small town America and eat at a REAL Cafe! We were traveling through Nebraska with our family and there were 8 of us. Seated immediately and had a wonderful breakfast. Just wish we would’ve been there later in the morning to try the pie! Charla was the best, very attentive and did a great job! Food was excellent!

Nice cafe, delicious food. OMG, specially pies, we even bought chocolate peanut butter pie on the way to Minnesota. We also bought this nice wood wall art made by owner of the cafe. We love it!!! We put it near front door to welcome all our guests.

Had an awesome Rueben. Came in close to closing time because on the road as a salesman. Staff stayed late to make sure i got to eat. Food was great, waitresses kind and concerned. Cook was an Angel! Appreciate their kindness!

Driving cross-country and stopped here. Very nice service with good good and phenomenal peanut butter pie. They even hurried the service and boxed up our pie and drinks to get us back on the road. TY

We stopped here in search of the best pie in Nebraska (Something we do in every state). We were helped by a lovely young woman who brought us 3 different slices of pie that were made by her grandma. We loved every single bite! We happily declare Farmer's Daughter Cafe to have the best pie in Nebraska and we plan to eat there again next time we drive through!

It's a nice little mom n pop restraunt. We had breakfast and it was delicious. The staff was really nice. And prices were average.

I like the atmosphere here, feels like going to moms, or grandmas for a meal. Staff is always fun and takes good care of you. Go hungry!!

I heard so many great things about this place so when we had guests come to town we took them here for a big breakfast. Man were we disappointed. Portions were small and the food wasn't anything special, not even as good as other places in town. Not sure why this place came so highly recommended.

This is Bob Weeks lunch was amazing I had the hot beef sandwich best I ever had and very reasonable prices staff was great loved the atmosphere of a small city were from Omaha. Just happened to stop in for lunch on our way back home from an outing for our 35th wedding anniversary. Also they had hand crafted woodwork pictures on the walls for sale that were amazing. We purchased one. So sad were not closer to go back regularly!

Very run of the mill, Very lack luster unfortunately. Sorry to say as well. I had very high hopes based on the name and the reviews. I ordered 2 , not 1 but 2 meals. As i am a food lover, especially breakfast, unfortunately ive had better from fast food joints. Service was not bad, but also was kinda not there. We were brought empty bottles of sauce, very visibly empty bottles, then ended up just getting another all most empty one from a neighboring table, Myself. Unfortunately, the name and reviews are hype. Definitely not trying to put them down, and i hope it changes, but it was a very disappointing, and unfortunately expensive, experience.

What a lovely experience! Highly recommend Heidi’s Sunshine for breakfast. Add cheese and gravy! Delicious, friendly, and bustling!

This was our first time here and we live 2 hours away but will definitely return. I had the chicken fried steak, which melted in my mouth, and eggs. My daughters had pancakes/eggs/sausage/bacon and that was also cooked to perfection. The pancakes were fluffy and big. Their bacon were very large compared to most breakfast diners so that was a very happy surprise. Their customer service was superb! All the waitresses were very courteous and on top of things and the kitchen staff had all our food done within 10- 15 mins. By far the best experience I have had at a restaurant!

Found this place traveling through town. What a gem. I love local cafés with character and good food. They have both plus staff with personality. The tri-fecta. I don't travel to Grand Island often but this place will definitely be on my list if I do.

Very disappointed in service. Put in our order after 30 mins of waiting the waitress brought our ticket. The other waitress came and got our ticket because the order was never made. She then put our ticket up last. Waited another 10 mins and just left. Will never come back.
