Overall, the hotel was decent. The staff and service were great. The room was very nice. One negative is the breakfast, which was lower quality than I would've expected. But the biggest negative about this hotel is the absolute BS parking fee that they charge. This is not a downtown city hotel with limited parking, and it's not in an area where anyone other than hotel guests would park here. They have a huge lot with plenty of parking. So the only reason they charge this BS fee is simply to make extra revenue by ripping off their customers. I would've given them 4-5 stars if not for that issue. And because of this, the next time I come to GJ I'll stay at a different hotel (since nobody else charges for parking).

My husband was so upset with this place!! He gave back the key card to the lady at the front desk and she asked how was the stay. He replied, "Great, if you like a room that smells like dog, no internet, and no hot water!" I'm being generous by giving it a two star, he'd give it a one. 1. If hotels are offering to let guests bring animals, please have a separate section of the hotel for guests who do not want to be in rooms that have had animals. 2. What possible excuse is there to not have hot water in a room? We didn't shower because it was barely past cold. Not a nice way to start our day. 3. Have an internet connection that is strong and consistent. He had to call tech support at night to get onto the internet. I know he wasn't the only one because when we checked in there was another guest in the lobby who was complaining they couldn't get on. After about an hour on the phone with Marriott tech support, they were able to get him online. Unfortunately, the next morning it would not pull up again. I give it two stars because I was able to sleep well on the mattress and there were no bugs- that's my minimum criteria for two stars.

Absolutely loved my stay here with my daughters. Beds super comfy and the room we had was huge.

One question: Why did you fill in the fire pit? The staff is really great here. Very polite, courteous, personable and accommodating. The several over interacted with are definitely worth more than their current pay! This represents a great culture at work. The property is starting to show some age. She could really use some updates and upgrades.

Me and my husband kicked off our honeymoon at the Residence Inn. We were welcomed with champagne, strawberries, and a sweet note from the staff. Jamie and Tammy were both so accommodating and made us feel welcome and celebrated. Thank you for making us feel special!!

Had a wonderful time here. Liz at check-in and check-out was awesome and her knowledge of the area was top notch! We asked her about places we should visit and she came up with several that we hadn’t got on our list (so many in fact that we NEED to come back again)

The morning breakfast was great 😃 The hostess allowed my husband and I to start eating a little before serving time so we could get on the road. Very thoughtful.

First the good. Two bedroom suite is a great option for when someone needs to use the desk in one of them for remote work and family can use other rooms. Really nice dog potty area and very much appreciate a place we can stay with our dogs. Rooms are very clean. All the staff is exceptional. Now the bad. The tubs are a major injury waiting to happen. They're very slick and edges are sloped enough that you have to be very careful getting in and out. There's only one grab bar. They took out the fire pit and the ice machines. Are they getting ready to close this location?

This hotel should be called Oasis. The rooms and hotel decor is dated. The door locks to the hallway are broken. Only entry to building is the front door. Most guest the hallway doors open by placing rocks to block them from closing. In return making the building unsecured. The breakfast was a horror story. Look at the photo attached. This was the look of the banana 3 days in a row.

Pet friendly, & staff was super nice. Rooms & hallways were vwry clean. Only complaint is that there was a side door that was used to go out to the pet area. The handle on the door was broken and 2 separate staff members told me to "just jiggle the handle until it opens" (which could take 5-10 mins). My card was working on the door, but the handle wasnt opening. It got kind of frustrating after a while.

Rooms are dated but acceptable. We stayed in a kitchenette that had a couple inducer burner tops. I found the accommodations adequate for a month stay, and the staff there a really nice. Indoor hot tub and heated pool. Basketball court and a nice patio area with a propane BBQ grille if you wanted to cook out. Highly recommend.

Definitely dated rooms. The one that was given to us for the night was also for individuals with disabilities ( may I request a change in name on the outside to that instead of what is there now?) The curtains were torn, the bed was missing a sheet, it only had a fitted sheet...

Older lady at front desk is extremely rude. Asked her for a room key because I misplaced mine and she gives me a disgusted look towards my uncle and I and says "I smell marijuana have u been smoking in the rooms," as if she was the police or something. We live in a legal state to smoke weed and would much rather enjoy smoking outside than your gross hotel rooms

Great local. Jamie, and Venisha were awesome staff members and very helpful. Standard amenities. Very VERY clean. Laundry on site 2nd floor. Diane at the front desk was rude quite often. Otherwise my three months there was easy peasy.

I'll start with saying that the rooms at this hotel are wonderful - spacious, lots of amenities, and overall a great option. Even the staff (specifically Daly) were very helpful and friendly. However, the housekeeping policy is TRASH - "every other day" is a lie. I checked in on a Monday morning, with the expectation that I would have my room serviced on Wednesday. I came back from work to find my room un-serviced, so I went downstairs on Thursday morning to request service that same day while I was away. I returned from work on Thursday evening to find my room STILL un-serviced, so I went downstairs that same night to complain and ask for service AGAIN on Friday morning. Friday midday rolls around and it is STILL un-serviced, and when I messaged the front desk using the Marriott Bonvoy app, they didn't respond for awhile (until I re-messaged with "?") and their response "We will respond as soon as possible." Terrible service on this and a lack of meeting expectations have ruined my view of the hotel....

Upon arrival I was checked in by Jessie the front desk manager. Jessie was very accommodating in anticipating my needs by putting me in a room away from other people on both sides and above me that also had the highest water pressure. The continental breakfast was delectable and had breakfast burritos to go that were a mouthful of joy. Thanks Jessie and the rest of the staff for making my trip to Grand Junction perfect.

What a wonderful Marriott property. This was the first time in a very long time that a Marriott staff member recognized my gold level status. While I am not elite or platinum, I feel like most Marriotts forget that you are still a valid member. Here was an exception. The front desk agent acknowledged my membership, offered me snacks, water and upgraded my room.

Decent hotel, decent location, not much close. Service was great from all but one older front desk lady, and my card on file being randomly charged for random amounts and 0 explanation from said front desk lady... she also likes to throw the key cards onto the little dirty key bin, if you hate your job or working in customer service get a new job not in customer service. You're not good at it.

Jaimie was absolutely lovely, from calming my frantic-ness by being reassuring over the phone to a seamless check-in during the middle of the night. My husband Kevin even went on about her! Their breakfast was excellent with different sauce selections and options for those with allergies that I’ve yet to find elsewhere. Patty took great care of us by checking ingredients for allergies on something that wasn’t listed so my son (dairy free) and husband (gluten free) could eat and offered to help me since I had my hands full! She kept things stocked and looking nice up until the last minute. Our room was clean and orderly and the spaciousness was appreciated. All in all, our stay here was so great that I’m looking into becoming a card member now just so we can support a company with such great employees. So refreshing! Thank you!
