Great stay after a long day of travel. Check-in was amazing - friendly and helpful front desk who went above and beyond to make sure I got relaxed and in bed right away. Both room and pool towels were scratchy, though, and the hot tub left me kind of itchy. Hair products left my hair feeling damaged, but lotion was great as was the toilet paper. Room was huge and bed was comfortable, but I brought my own blankets to weigh me down more than the light sheets. There was a fair bit of light from the parking lot which was a trade off for trying to get morning sun. Front desk was on the phone when I went to check out and didn't seem to acknowledge that I was waiting for 5 minutes. Coffee in the lobby was cold, too, but she replaced it right away. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. First of all, their parking is free unlike the Hilton across the street. Secondly, rooms are clean and roomy with a separate living area so to speak. Cool restaurant on the first floor. Plenty of parking. Would return!

Arrived on a Wednesday for 3 nights and paid the extra for a sofa room. The room was clean and a little dated but that was not my issue. Thursday morning we left the room prior to 11 am to tour the area and when we got back the room had not been made up or towels replaced. I called the office and they said they were sorry and the manager would contact cleaning and make sure it was cleaned the next day and sent up some clean towels. The next day we left the room prior to 10:30 am and came back at around 5 pm to find the room just the way we left it, not made up or new towels. Again I talked with the manager who apologized and said that the service personal would receive a write up. I have stayed at IHG many times and this has to be the worst service ever. I gave 2 stars for the front desk as they were polite but some were new and nothing resolved. I am planning to return to Grand Junction but probably not at this location again. I hope you have better luck than I did if you decide to stay here.

The rooms are really rough. The mattress was definitely past its lifespan. Everyone was friendly and the pool was clean and nice. The restaurant staff was friendly and food was great! It took a long time for the food but but ended up being good. Would we stay again? Probably not. We will try someplace else next time. The cost just doesn't equal the quality here.

Rooms are always clean. Pool and hot tub area is nice. I have to say though that the restaurant and bar are excellent. Relaxing environment, Mariah who served me was the nicest, most professional bartender that I've encountered in awhile. I'd stay there again just to have a good meal and a drink there. Richard, always does an excellent job as well. Overall, great place to stay.

Hands down the best experience in any hotel. My only issue was that my room faced the highway, so it was pretty loud. But the employees were top notch. The entire building was spotless and so nice. I will ONLY stay here when in Grand Junction!

My husband is a terrible snorer. When I made reservations I thought that I was going to be getting 2 attached rooms. This was not available at this particular Holiday Inn. I was feeling very frustrated and Mitchell helped walk me through different solutions I could have to be able to get a good night's sleep and have a good start to our vacation. He was very patient, he was very kind, very understanding and came up with some good alternatives. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone because of Mitchell's positive attitude and his sincere desire to help. Mitchell's helpfulness and desire to do what's best for the guest.

I was traveling in Grand Junction for baseball, and I accidentally let one of my jerseys and pants at the hotel and did not realize until I returned home. I talked to the regional manager Roy about finding my jerseys that were no longer in the room and he went above and beyond looking for them and notified me when he had! Also, he offered to drive them to the UPS store to ship them back to me without me even bringing it up. Great customer service and really saved me a bunch of stress!

The room itself was ok and Hannah the desk staff was great. However, I only gave it a two star which maybe should have even been lower as we can't recommend this facility nor will we ever stay here again. The problem came when we stood in line in the AM for breakfast for over 20 minutes before we were seated and then waited another 20 minutes to get our drink order and menus. Again another endless wait to get our orders taken. The restaurant was not busy. There were two tables seated when we arrived in line. The waitress would not even acknowledge we were there. We watched two separate couples leave, one who was behind us in line and became frustrated and left and another who was behind them who did get seated but never got waited on at all for over an hour and left. W e ended up eating our meal but the wait put us two hours behind schedule in our road trip and caused us to not see some of what we drove out to see. Hannah refunded us the $20 equivalent to our meal cost that we paid but honestly, our two hours there was worth more than that.

If you get a chance to stay at this holiday inn, you must have a meal at the in-house restaurant. I had to meet the chef because I have never had real sausage and gravy at a restaurant before. Not only was the food delicious, but the plate setup and arrangement made it feel like a 5-star dining experience. So, if you happen to be near the Holiday inn grand junction. Go see Chef Heath, and have an awesome dining experience!!!!!

The staff are very good and friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, great location and the hotel restaurant comes in handy. The only set back is that the furniture seems to be very old, the seats have leather peeling and the carpet had some order to it. I still would stay here again, for the excellent service.

Stayed here with my sister and had a nice time up until breakfast. One person serving and she was so under pressure she was rude. Needed 2 people at least. We went elsewhere to get food, not what you need. Old tatty thread bare chair in room, room where ice machine was, was set to 90 degrees. Was like an oven in there. Wouldn't return.
