We only stay at Marriott and this is by far one of the worst stays we've had. There is mold growing in the shower, the bathroom ceiling is bubbling up, the fan is so dusty we didn't even want to turn it on. The couch in the living room was also extremely dusty and we didn't really want to sit on it. The carpet was coming apart and the room was really smelly. They have pans and pots in the room but no stove or oven (that was odd/funny). We thought about complaining but we didn't notice all these things until the next day. We only stayed two nights and only used the room to sleep. I'm giving it a 2 because the staff was really nice. O can see this in a Motel 6 but Marriott's are typically better. The breakfast was ok for being free. They don't have a microwave in the buffet area for guests to use. Which is weird because my oatmeal wasn't cooked through with just the hot water they offer so I had to take it to my room to finish cooking it in the microwave. UPDATE: We decided to give this place a second chance on 4/1/22. The worst experience we’ve ever had! This place is like a cheap Motel 6. The people above us were so loud. Banging and screeching chairs. The people next to us screaming all night long. The people across from us fighting and banging doors. We never like to complain but it was just so much! We were tired and trying to sleep. We called the receptionist but it didn’t really fix the problem. We tried putting the AC as white noise but the AC had a loud screeching noise all the time. There was mold in the bathroom AGAIN! We really are done with this place. If I could give them a zero, I would!!! The staff is nice but the hotel and the people that stay there are the worse!

I search for several days to find a suite that had two beds and a separate living room/couch area within Grand Junction. I book the two queen bed suite at this hotel. When I checked in and then went to my room I entered a room that was just a standard two queen bed. This hotel switched my reservation to a standard room, didn’t tell me upon check in at all. They were going yo charge me for the rate of Suite and not tell me. I had to go to the front desk to complain just got the rate reduced some. That’s were I was told a managers daughter switched my room in the system this has me outraged. I was also told without any logical explanation that there are no suites available tonight. So I booked a room that I spent days trying yo find and essentially got the bait and switch told I can’t have the room I originally booked. Down right terrible customer service!!! Won’t stay here again in my travels.

Convenient location to downtown. We had a couple small room issues (AC had been set to 59 when we arrived so it was freezing). The room had a roll-in shower, which made a huge mess everywhere. Otherwise, this place was fine.

Great location!! Check in staff was more worried about my service dog then she was about providing customer service. Bed was very comfortable. Parking lot was not visible from our room. Pool was out of service both nights of our stay.

I have stayed at this Mariott for 4 years while I have had a student at CMU. It has been my "go-to" place always. I am so sad how downhill it has gone. The rooms are dated and the mattress I slept on last night was like sleeping on concrete. They should be ashamed to even give room I was given to anyone. I got zero sleep. No lotion in the room, I had to ask for it. The ice machine on the 3rd floor is broken. The pool area was dirty. I will NEVER stay here again. *the manager just switched my room for tonight for a much more comfortable bed. However, will not book here again. Location is great

Great hotel and have stayed a couple of times. Best breakfast of most any hotel out there. Right near the action and bars and restaurants. $11 to park in their lot is reasonable. Staff was great. Near the peach orchards in Palisade.

Last week we checked in as bonvoy platinum, were given a 4th floor room that we thought would be quiet so we could get some needed rest, and discovered as the evening went on that the front desk put a group of minors on the floor in various rooms. I don't know if there was any supervision, but these inconsiderate guests ruined our stay as yelling, door slamming, and hall traffic went to 3am. The hotel has paper walls and no sound control. I called the front desk and asked for security to come to 4th floor and speak to them. We concluded they probably don't have dedicated security and probably share patrol with the other hotels next door. Then the cap on the stay was going down for breakfast, grabbing some food, sitting down, and having a man and wife come into the dining/serving area with their dog. Not a small one, an adult golden retriever. This is illegal under Colorado law. Dogs are only allowed in food establishments on outdoor patios that are health department approved. Then they proceeded to feed it from their plates while it chomped away under the table. I love dogs but have no use for people that disrespect others (and the law.) No one in the hotel said anything to these people, and we couldn't get away from that place fast enough.

Great location, clean and bigger rooms available for family. Morning breakfast is like any other hotel. Nothing special. The one complaint I do have is the indoor and outdoor pool just did not look clean. The water was cloudy and not clear and my kids did not wanna use the pool. I would hope that Marriott can do a better job keeping their pool water clear and clean.

We have stayed at a lot of Marriotts over the years, this was by far one of the worst. The reception area was unorganized and the young people working the desk were not friendly. The room was the worst part. There were about 4 large floor areas, from the end of the bed to just before the entry to the bathroom, these areas were soaking wet with what I presume was dog urine. It's an awful feeling to be exhausted from driving, you pay $150 to $200 for what you think is a clean room, and you take your shoes off and walk in dog urine 😡, not in one spot but 4 separate areas. Marriott has never been a hotel where I worried about receiving a clean room, until now. I dislike leaving a bad review but this was beyond disgusting.

We were visiting for a conference so all the hotels around were busy. My room was clean and comfortable, and so was the bed in particular. Customer service was great, people were nice and didn't seem to hate their job, so that's something! Breakfast is alright, I would like to see a couple more vegetarian options in the sandwich section as I could only eat muffins, scones and granola. I love oatmeal though, so that was good

Absolutely the worst hotel I ever stayed. I had to change the room three times. Still even third room was not pleasant. When we checked in first room that was only half cleaned, vacuumed and left not screened window open on cold day. Second room heat was not even working and maintenance can not fix it. Third room was seemed fine, but we can not get into the room once we are out. I had to go back and forth couple of times to the front desk. All front desk person did just kept remaking the key card, but still same. Somehow we managed in once. Finally we were tired after long drive and being treated unprofessional way, we decided just stay in to get sleep. Later in the morning front desk lady find out that front lock battery is low. I can not image how do they treat other customer since as a Marriott gold elite member been treated like this. It is shame that this hotel is affiliated with Marriott.

Great place to stay, stayed in a king suite. Very spacious and very comfortable. Free breakfast with waffles, eggs, Canadian bacon, biscuits and gravy. Variety of yogurts and cereals along with some fresh fruit. Customer service was excellent. Had an early check in time. Definitely recommend!

Desk was very slow. This was the first time we have ever had problems with the Marriott app. We were booked across the street but they were double booked. They made it work. Titanium Elite

Decent one night stay. Passing through, stayed in a queen studio, ample room for two. Bikes allowed in rooms, they encourage it, in fact. Breakfast was ok, selection wasn’t great. But the basics are there. There is a charge for parking.

The air conditioning doesn't work and the staff wasn't accommodating. Ended up sleeping in my car since it was better than these rooms. Don't stay here. It's worth the drive to go anywhere else downtown in Grand junction
