What a disappointment. The Robinson Theatre venue is extremely disorganized. It wasn’t until 30 minutes AFTER the show was supposed to start that they announced that the band wasn’t coming and the event was cancelled! DUH! How the heck did the venue not know? When there were no mic checks and no instruments on the stage, wouldn’t you think someone, ANYONE, would have called to find out where the band was? When we asked the woman representing Robinson Theatre, she told us that maybe she missed an email. Are you kidding me? What is this, Mayberry??? No one there knew how to get a refund for the tickets. No idea if it would be rescheduled but maybe sometime next year. Eventbrite didn’t send anyone notifications. What a joke. This is exactly why it’s called “Malfunction Junction”! We drove an hour in from Montrose, and will NOT be back to the Robinson Theatre - not one more dime!

Really enjoyed Mama Mia performed by High Desert Opera. The university needs to do something with the seats though. They are small and suited for a middle school auditorium. Not comfortable for watching a 2 hour performance

Great facility! CMU was kind enough to allow the Little Kids Rock program to play their concert there. The seats have plenty of legroom and unless you're really short your view of the stage is clear. Acoustics were great, too.

It's a small venue. The auditorium probably seats 1,000 people but it is spacious and cozy at the same time. We saw the Nutcracker. We didn't care for the ticket service they used. We did buy one too many tickets and they wouldn't refund. Good nearby parking - free after 6pm.

First time I've been in there and it was very nice and seating was comfortable and spacious. My daughter is in dance so I'll be back many times I'm sure.

Amazing place. Great that they help local companies share their talents. It is amazing seeing young dancers perform here and know that they have such a long history of helping mesa county achieve their dreams

I went to school at this facility. It's Clean, well maintained and provides a decent view from any location in the theater. The students are talented and excited to share what they have learned through performance.
