I've been here a number of times over the years, all great experiences typically due to the artists and the crowd I was with. Last night was a great show as expected, sound quality was great, plenty of seating, was not too packed, patrons were friendly, very laid back overall. Big shout out to the staff. I attended with my 6 year old to an all ages metal show, his first show actually. The staff was very accommodating. There were a couple guys of the staff that noticed his struggles to fight the boredom between sets and his spiral downward from his exhausting week. They brought us a chair and bottle of cold water without request or notice and also accommodated his small size so that he could watch the show over the wall of 'big people' in an enjoyable and unconventionable fashion helping his first show go off without a hitch. You know who you are, thank you!! I recommend Mesa Theater and will be back again.

The bartenders are amazing people and the shows they bring in are great but be incredibly wary of the bouncers. Too overzealous and will manhandle you when it could have been a conversation. 10/10 for everything else.

The Mesa attracts a good variety of local, regional, and national acts for a city the size of GJ. Ticket and drink prices are fair.

Amazing venue to see a concert!! We saw Pepper and The Elovaters and they rocked the place. It's intimate and there's seating as well as standing space. Having a seat with a table was really nice. The beer is reasonably priced. We paid $5 for a 16oz PBR. We will definitely be back when we are in town again. This place is a must and tucked right in downtown.

I went and seen the Adam Calhoun concert and it was awesome. A few fights broke out but that's to be expected when people are drinking and can't handle their alcohol. Overall its a good place to go to concerts

Fantastic. Laid back. Can go in and out. No big bag searches or Pat downs. Great sound and light. Only bad thing I can say is itโ€™s a little cold and smelly. Like old beer and cigarettes.

Get a sound tech capable of mixing hip-hop! Prof, awesome. The sound, hands down, was the worst in 35 years of shows. If hip-hop is not your thing, awesome, get a sound tech that can mix a show like this!

Mesa Theater - one of my all time favorite venues. Period. I been to a lot of shows here and even played here years ago. The nostalgia of the venue hasnโ€™t left. The feel from a music lover to music lovers never left. Keep doing what youโ€™ve always done and true music scene in CO will never die!!!

Went to The Rainbow Party for the first time going back to Mesa Theater in years. What's amazing about it are some of the things that are a bit of a hindrance... it hasn't changed in decades: only two bathrooms (then mens has 3 toilets and 2 urinals, which means the womens bathroom should logically have at least 5 stalls). The aesthetic has a very underground punk rock feel with stickers all over the walls and a slightly grunge look. They have great performances, although they don't do bag checks so I saw several people smoking weed inside and security didn't seem to care. Also get food and drinks before going in because a Diet Coke costs $4!! Even gas stations don't charge that much... so I bet alcohol is WAY overpriced.

Perfect!! Great seating not a bad seat in the house. The bar tenders were perfect!! The restroom was a 5 second walk. Just couldnโ€™t be a better place to see a concert or anything to be honest. Loved it thank you

Mesa theater is a great local venue, it lacks the luster of bigger more expensive places but makes up for that in personal experience and general vibe with the performers, you could almost litterstly reach out and touch them without the need for vip tickets

Great venue that regularly gets artist that are far bigger than this town deserves. Ticket prices are fair (cheaper if bought at box office) and drink prices are good too. Would definitely recommend going to see a show or grabbing drinks with a group of friends.

The YJ Malmsteen concert was amazing hope to see more top name bands. But, as a musician myself I understand the problems that malmsteen was having on stage with the horrible Sidefill speakers and floor monitors he could not hear himself. It highly affects your performance on stage luckily he's a seasoned veteran and played on although he was very upset with the sound equipment and the people running the sound. Suggestion they said theater update your sound system it truly needs it.
