I am adding to the first post from months previous which follows with quotation marks in this post and I have to say Moodys is still an Awesome place to go for food, drinks, and relaxing with friends. Logan knows whiskeys and bourbons really well and always selects the flavors for the flight that I order. Jeremy is not just a bartender but a fantastic cocktail maker and an old fashioned gentleman. I definitely recommend trying different seats from the dining area, the lounge, to the bar. I gave a four stars for the atmosphere since it can seem loud in some areas from loud conversations echoing off walls. Again, I truly enjoy the place and staff. Try it out! Now starts the last review I posted. "Overall experience was great. The Chef was a five star as all the food was very delicious and presented nicely. The staff were friendly, outgoing, and able to hold a conversation. Ordered a side of Crack fries which had a aioli sauce and bacon. Not overpowering, with a little spice but not burning the taste buds. The tenderloin steak was easy to cut and served with a whiskey reduction sauce that complimented well. Chicken picatta had sweet buttery flavor with the chicken strips being moist and tender. The drunken mousse was okay but not great. Tasted more like cocoa powder, however the whiskey cream topping was good. The vanilla cream cheese cake was fabulous being soft and smooth flavor with the fruit toppings. Tried some cocktails which were a hit and miss on tastes. The thoreau was a strong mint flavor, which I didn't really expect based on description. The strawberry daisy was excellent as was the paper plane. Nice selection of bourbons and whiskeys but no option for flights. Would have loved to be able to try the whiskeys in a flight. The atmosphere was pleasant but wished they would frost the windows and stencil their name into them for better ambience. Not sure why they didn't put there name into the entrance door. Overall I would go back again. Have been several times since the last review and still highly recommend for the food, drinks, and friendly staff!"

Hubby & I went for lunch. We were the only 2 there. Our drinks came right away. After 30 minutes our lunch of steak salad & chicken sandwich with fries arrived. We shared them. We ordered the dressing on the side & glad because we didn't care for it. So we ordered another side of blue cheese dressing but they didn't have any so ended up with a balsamic vinaigrette. (This is the first restaurant we've been to that didn't have a blue cheese dressing.) The steak was cooked to perfection but just ok. For the price a bit high for the small amount of meat. The chicken sandwich was good but not the bread. It was a bit too charred. Again a bit pricey for a chicken sandwich. The fries were delicious but they were skimpy on those. Not sure we're going back as $76 (including tip) for lunch was a bit much. The food was ok but not great for the price.

Amazing cocktails, waitress gave good recommendations as well. The food was top notch, and atmosphere was very nice. It was nice they had non meat options on the menu, and not another burger(I can only take so many vegan burgers lol). Definitely worth the money. We'll be going there again, hopefully when they have 1920s dress, which I thought was the norm for the staff but I guess not, but I can understand why not.

Great service, always! Great food, %100. The atmosphere is always professional but laid back. I love the 1920’s theme. They’re always playing something mellow in the background like Chris Stapleton. The servers are always quick! The owner is usually running around and helping his staff, place is one of the best here in town. Hands down.

Incredible place! We were welcomed with warm hospitality from the owner and seated in a very cozy booth. The speakeasy atmosphere is unique, fun, and different from any other place in town. The truffle fries with Sriracha aioli, along with the rest of our meal was delicious. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place. The owner is such a genuine, nice dude. The wagyu is top quality. Don't even get me started on how amazing the desserts are. This restaurant is better than Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas, by far! Every time we come to Grand Junction, it's a must!

The bartenders each time were amazing. The bartender today made me feel like a friend and not just some random customer. She also made a perfect drink from a description. Love this place. Well worth the money and perfectly hidden away entrance.

Moody's lives up to my friends' hype. Cocktails, food, and staff are all great. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Had to dock 1 star because the dining area was a little loud until the crowds started to clear out around 9.

We ordered the Waygu Rib eye steak, it was the best steak I have ever eaten!! It was prepared exactly as I ordered it, salad was very good and the wine was great. We will be back before we leave here!!! There was a party that got very loud before we left that created an atmosphere we were not a fan of but it is a bar and it was after 11pm. We would highly recommend!!!

The food was wonderful and nicely presented. It's a fun place to eat. Definitely not to place to go for a quiet meal. Beverages were great. The service was slow and the server could use a review of the items on the menu. Definitely will go back.

Definitely one of the more fun places in Grand junction. The service was fantastic The drink's strong and the food was overall pretty good. Calamari was just okay. I had the wagyu sandwich which was pretty tasty. The Cajun fries are good. The salmon my buddy ordered he said was really good. When I'm back in Grand junction I will most certainly make an effort to come back here. The price is seemed pretty fair, and the lounge up front is really nice.

We were in town to do some hiking, and dropped by Moody's for dinner. Decent atmosphere, given the location, but the food was fantastic. Had the BALT with potato and leek soup. She had the chicken sandwich. Both delicious! Kudos to the kitchen. Our server was great, also.
