I was referred to this place by someone. I used them only twice for myself but stopped going in because they are way to expensive without set prices for the same hairstyle. I took my 4 year old son in to get his hair braided twice because they are close to my home. I walked him in (so they could see his hair before booking) and told them what I wanted which was only 6 braids straight back. I was told it would be $30 (reasonable price). Both times I was charged $30. Today I took him in for the exact same thing, and they were trying to charge me $50. FOR THE EXACT SAME THING! I feel like this place is a rip off! After they went in their system and saw what's been charged and the person who braided his hair the first time confirmed it, they still were trying to charge me $50. They just quote prices off the top of their head instead of having set prices for things. I showed her the picture from when he was there 2 weeks ago. And in two weeks the price went from $30 to $50 in two weeks for the Exact same style? Nope! I will not ever be going back to this place and would suggest that you don't either! Update in response to owner: 1st off I have been there more than twice as stated. I STOPPED coming and stopped bringing my son because every week it's a different price for the exact same service! You don't post your prices like any normal salon so that you can get more money EVERYTIME someone comes in for the same service... If you so called raised your prices because "everything cost more now" (which is fine) Well set your prices on your website! and stop trying to haggle and surprise people every time they walk through your doors. And FYI, I don't need to learn how to braid. I found a better business with set prices and better service. Thank You!

These beautiful women do amazing work ladies. Come and get your hair done in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. They are efficient and they provide quality work. I went to this location as a walk in shortly after Thanksgiving 2022. The braiding salon is minutes away from my home. The shop itself is awesome and every single lady in the shop has excellent customer service skills and are all very warm, kind and welcoming. I showed a picture of what I wanted as I was asked to do by the braider. I got single knotlless braids. When I left I was good because the perimeter was braided and parted correctly. I paid 300.00 plus with tip included for my service. Today, I washed my braids and while drying my hair, I discovered that the entire middle section of my hair was parted large and poorly; not at all like the perimeter. The larger braids could have been two-three braids a piece if parted correctly. I called to make the shop aware of my discovery and disappointment and I did receive an apology. I was told to send pictures of what I saw. I hope to hear from someone soon. I told her that I am planning on returning at the end of Jan. 2023 because I wholeheartedly enjoyed the experience. She said that she would add the note to my profile regarding my concern. Advice to everyone, check and double check your stylist work at all times. I never experienced this at any braiding shop I've been to but I believe everyone deserves a second chance. I will be sure to provide an update later.

Wow! I’ve been going to Beauty Concepts Salon for a few years now. I have never been disappointed!! But today, Juliette SLAYED like never before!! Before I knew anything she was done with my hair. Everything was laid and READY. Thank y’all for ALWAYS providing top notch service!! 💜💜💜

I visited Beauty Concepts for Goddess Braids yesterday and I am VERY happy with my experience. Pauline did an amazing job and was extremely pleasant and hospitable throughout! I showed the ladies in the salon a picture of what I was looking for and she delivered! I couldn't be happier--- my hair looks exactly how I pictured it. Marcee did an excellent job on my braids. It was exactly what I wanted and looks beautiful. Flawless. She also helped me pick a beautiful color that I love. All the ladies (including Guiya and Patricia) are super sweet and do a great job. Keep up the great work ladies!

I was referred by my sister and my best friend to go here for my braids. I’m use to sitting for 8 hours getting box braids so I didn’t believe them when they told me I would only be there for 4 hours. I made a last minute appointment for 12:30. I arrived at 12:30 and Juliet started immediately on my hair. Fesa also assisted at the end with my braids. No pain at all and my braids were done around 3:45, they were not heavy at all and very neat. I did waist length individual braids! I was so shocked I tipped pretty good at the end! I will definitely be going back! I love that it didn’t take up my whole day getting my braids done! I was in and out in 4 hours!!!

Beauty Concepts did an AWESOME job on my daughter’s hair!!! I booked the last minute appointment 2 days before the date. They were able to accommodate my appointment at 8am and we were done by 11:30am! My daughter loves her knotless individual braids and experienced no pain!! We will definitely be using their services again. Thank you!!!
