Stopped in for a quick pizza, I liked the ordering system here, walk in and tell them what you'd like while they're right in front of you with all the ingredients just behind the glass. Then go sit and wait for your pie to be called. The tables needed to be wiped down and the bathroom was messy. The pizza was good, although the sauce was a little sweeter than I usually like. Aside from that it was pretty good and would definitely try it again.

Good quality, wood-fired pizza with many topping choices. Thin or thick crust available. Set menu, or create your own. Pop, both fountain and bottled as well as other flavored water and sports drink choices. Cheesy garlic breadsticks and meatballs are choices too. Salads for those going low carb. Nice pizza addition to the Northeast Grand Rapids area!

Overall great experience. Very similar to a MOD, Blaze , or MiPi. They have templates or build your own options. The staff here was very friendly and helpful being my first time here. If I am ever in the area craving pizza I'll stop by again and would recommend.

Went on a Tuesday night to avoid crowds and had no trouble finding a seat. The best thing about Herb & Fire is the variety and quality of their ingredients and the price. Two of us shared a pizza and ate for about $13 including a tip. The dining room offers a variety of high and regular-height tables. Even sitting next to the window on a mild winter night was comfortable. Only downsides, couldn't find an IPA beer, and it was kind of loud--even with a mostly empty dining room--for talking.

We love this place hubby always gets thin crust and I get thick crust. They have so many toppings, different cheeses and sauces you can get other then traditional pizza sauce. They do allow dine in, patio seating and inside you can sit by the doors that open to a screen for some fresh air. Staff are very friendly and fast yes it does get busy and since the pizzas are made to order you could have a wait but it is so worth it.... BTW the jalapeños they have are fresh not pickled and they have no heat or flavor they only down side to hubby's pizza. We will definitely be returning.

Food was good. The lady that seemed to be the manager was not nice. Asked for pesto on the side and she just said 50 cents. No other words. Other employees seemed nice

I ordered a pizza through Grub Hub. It was very disappointing. The pizza was barely cooked, and the thin, flimsy crust and sauce were pretty flavorless. ordered the spicy sauce and could barely even taste it. They were also extremely stingy with the toppings. I will not be ordering from this place again, stay away if you like your pizza flavorful and full of toppings.

The pizza is good and the ordering experience is nice. However charging $0.50 for a small cup of ranch/marinara sauce is quite the turn off. It is very frustrating and makes me not want to come back. Restaurants shouldn’t charge for condiments.

Went last night for a meal after the movie, ordered two pizzas and a salad. Decided to switch the salad and the boys running the counter got yelled at for asking what to do. The “manager” just stood there yelling at them, coughing on uncooked food, scratching her armpits and was treating everyone horribly. The table were dirty and when asked to clean them off she acted annoyed about doing her job. I asked for ranch that I paid for, she didn’t put it with my food so I had to ask again and the other worker said “It’s 50 cents” and the manager goes “she already paid for it” Okay??? if you remembered that why not give it to me. She was lazy, unhygienic, and rude to her coworkers who were very nice and did nothing wrong. Then she just left, didn’t look like she did anything to help clean up.

Straightforward Dinner: Herb & Fire Pizzeria in Grand Rapids On the hunt for a no-nonsense dinner, we landed at Herb & Fire Pizzeria, adjacent to the Celebrations Cinema. The premise is simple: build your own pizza. Both of us settled on the Uccello, a meat-centric choice. We added some extras — special cheeses, proteins, and veggies. Service was attentive and direct, much appreciated. The dough held its own; the only thing that could enhance the experience would be real wood in the fire. All things considered, it's a solid pick for an affordable pizza in Grand Rapids.

Delicious pizza! First place I went to when I arrived at Grand Rapids! They have build your own pizza! We chose the cauliflower crust and it was delicious! The crust was thin and crispy. The roasted mushrooms, artichoke, pesto, and tomatoes went well together! I probably won’t get the vegan cheese again though. I would definitely come back again!

Friendly staff who help you choosing pizza toppings. You can order a pizza by name and let them make it or you can custome build your own. Chef Ace made our three pizzas and they were cooked perfectly. Ask for Ace!
