Nice for large gatherings...pricey...service could of been more attentive. I didn't get a refill or asked if I wanted another cocktail until after my apps were brought to the table 15min later from order. I'm use to service stopping by to see if you need another drink or to let you know othe food is on the way. "Picture 2"Welp instead the young ladies were to involved in their social society grouped up at the register. Still left $10 tip on $47 bill. Thanks but I'll be passing this one bye.

Just went for drinks and hot damn they make them strong, was nice to not feel ripped off paying for a mixed drink! Rum and Coke FTW here wow nice job guys! Great performance by this guy btw sounded great and had perfect volume for a small space, great start to a concert night!

I’ve been before, but not since everything opened back up officially with no masks after covid. There’s a cover fee ($10) that didn’t make sense to me, and I don’t remember them having the last time. It is not a club and we didn’t receive any service for anything so I didn’t understand what we were paying a fee for. The buckets were good though. Probably would only go back for a special occasion to be honest.

The drinks were nice, but the fries were cold and hard. Was very surprised to get a 4% surcharge on our bill. We get it, food prices are increasing but you need to state it on the menu right next to the gratuity charge statement. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

We had a large party. Good atmosphere. Food selection was OK. Portions were large. One drink was good, 2nd of same too much alcohol and ruined the flavor.

The bartender Erin was one of the most professional, efficient and helpful server's I have had in a very long time. I always appreciate people like Erin

This is a great place for an over priced drink! It's also a great place to not find a single person tending the bar!

Nice atmosphere, server was good. BUT The prices are a little high for what you get and on top of that you get a surprise surcharge.. also the wings are boneless only which I don't believe was mentioned on the menu. Fries were pretty bland.

Absolute wild card. However if it’s a Friday or Saturday in GR where people will be elsewhere, I would pry pass. The cover will never be worth it, the mixed drinks are mid. There are better club bars in GR, and I don’t even live there. Lol

They rise their prices for events, portions are way to small. We spent $17 on steak bites and he told us it was a platter....it was a damn soup bowl

Everytime I go it's a good time. I LOVE that I can go dancing here and they play good music. Crowd is always great. Never any issues thus far since I've been going. Good friendly security, bar staff! Highly recommended spot for younger and older folks forsure. Drinks are also very good and they have 2 bars👌.

They don't have enough bartenders. They had two, and sometimes 1 at the bar. Took me about 20 minutes to get a drink. However, the drink was pretty good. The DJ doesn't play your recommended songs. The space is decorated well. Also, the security let my friend and I back in to get something from the car (came across many that won't do that).

I visited on 5/27/23 after I got married. We arrived around 8pm, we had a pretty decent sized group, and had on a full gown but they were very accommodating. I met Dan (the owner) he was great and made sure our time there was special. Absolutely recommend stopping in.

The atmosphere is really comfortable and open. There's a wood fireplace to sit by and have an intimate drink!

My husband and I decided to throw together a last minute NYE wedding this year. We had 2 and a half weeks to plan. I reached out to The Grand Woods Lounge to see if they could accommodate roughly 20 people for a small reception. I figured it was a long stretch since it was NYE. I chatted with Erica and she was able to make it work! Her and Dax were SUPER accommodating and very welcoming when we got there. The room was set and ready when we got there. Thank you for being a part of our big day! We had the best time and were super thankful to have a place that our families could gather on such short notice.

I recently had my FriendsMas Christmas party here and it was an absolutely awesome event! The facilities are completely beautiful and our waitress Brooklyn was absolutely phenomenal. My party ended up being a lot bigger than what I expected I had rsvp'd for 15 to 20 and almost 40 showed and she worked it like a champ she was absolutely fabulous! The staff, the ownership, the management are all really wonderful here. It's definitely a place to hold your event.

This isn't a bar or a club, it's a scam. Came here before a show at the intersection with a friend. A drink each, $30 tab.. for something i would've paid less than half that for anywhere else downtown. Not to mention I've been going BY here for years, and it's always full of frat guys and pick me girls. Not the vibe. Especially for GR.

Always a great time, great service, cocktails, & food at the woods. Actually the great service from our favorite servers keeps us coming back. Love the Woods!

The food was very good and the service was amazing. Their Happy Hour choices were plentiful, reasonably priced and served with a very happy smile. We ha e made this our pre and post concert stop in Grand Rapids. You can get good food almost anywhere but if you want great service be sure you stop at Grand Woods Lounge.

I would highly recommend the "Woods" as a go to night & day place to hangout. On Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. They have a live DJ. One of the more highly contested places in Downtown Grand Rapids.

Mom of 3 and this was my first night out in a while and I can absolutely say i enjoyed every bit of it THE Dj TONIGHT WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT I’d love to come back whenever he is playing 10/10 recommend green tea shots

Really neat decor, reminded me of hunting lodge with all the antlers and log cabin walls. Had the happy hour frozen margaritas that were a great price. The waitress was prompt and attentive. Didn't try the food this trip, but the drinks were good.
