First time experience was great! Nice intimate atmosphere for artists on the comeup or veterans making their tour rounds. Elevation was a perfect venue for the fact you could be on the ground level or in the elevated sections surrounding it! Only gave it 4 stars due to not trying any drinks they had for sale and their prices.. Otherwise a great place to have a concert throughout the week 👌🏾

I've been to ~75 shows and can only hope to never have to visit this stupid venue again. The website states there's first come, first serve seating, but upon arrival every single seat was reserved. I tried standing on a set of stairs leading to a small seating section but rudely got kicked out and walked out all the way to the floor because the small corner required a $450 payment to sit in the space, let alone stand on the stairs leading to it. Lmao! Kiss my a$$! The entire security staff was so insanely rude and weren't handling the extremely drunk individuals ruining the show for everyone around them. Their only concern was protecting reserved spaces. The venue has NO air flow what so ever so it got so hot to the point of being sickening. The sound was so horrible that I could barely hear the vocals. The main bathrooms were closed immediately as the concert ended and I've never been pushed out of a venue so quickly. Prior to the show, 2 lines were formed outside with no direction to help guests know which line is theirs. Not once did I feel comfortable. *Photo is from Avatar show on 9/15/23. View is slightly zoomed in from the very back of the venue*

Went to see Starset last night with The Word Alive. This venue is the definition of don't judge a book by its cover. This non descript brick building would be easy to pass by as you make your way through Grand Rapids. The atmosphere in here is great. The thing I was most happy about is how loud it is! Most venues today are nowhere near loud enough. Security is great and helpful. The stage setup is top notch as well. I will be returning here time and time again for future shows.

Great Venue! Friendly staff. During my visit you could get beer for $7 and there was free water refills somewhere. The bathrooms were small and the smoking section adequate. Show was sold out, it looked like about 700 people. See you next time!

It's so simple, square and a great area for a music venue. Everything is perfect once inside. However the slow burn and wait/line to get in is a bit much. Spirit Box was amazing, so it was all worth the wait.

This is not my style of venue and there's much room for improvement when it comes to customer service. I live 3 hrs away and and had a few questions so I called several times over a time frame there is no option or way to speak with anyone. It was incredibly frustrating. The show was as good as it could of been given the venue. Great artist put on an amazing show. I wouldn't return here if I had ANY other options. My highlight is they have their venue open to all patrons regardless of their medical status. They have my respect for that.

We visited the stache at the intersection for the Liam St John show this past Wednesday. The gentleman working the door checking ids wasnt the friendliest but the other security staff were wonderful. The hostess that checked in our tickets was very friendly and helpful. The bartender was an absolute sweetheart. The sound was great and we had a blast at the show. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future

We are so fortunate to have a club like this downtown. It's clean and modern. The staff is super friendly. It feels safe inside and out. Parking is close nearby. If you keep your eye on the schedule you will surely find a show that appeals to you. What a gem! Easy in and out and I was home in 20 minutes. Lots of food nearby.

My favorite venue!!! It's a perfect setting. The service is incredible! Everyone is so nice, helpful, and attentive. You can see the stage from anywhere. The sound is amazing. I absolutely love this venue!!!

Great prices. Great artists, we will be back!! Just a heads up though, parking close to the venue is about $20. There is a security checkpoint upon entry and pocket knifes are even taken away although they do give you the option of taking it back to your car. In the venue we went in, it was standing in front of the stage with 3 well stocked bars at each end. There are tables but they have to be reserved before the event to guarantee that you will get one. These were just helpful things that I wish I would’ve known before I went for the first time!

Never been to a venue that you show up on time and they still have half the crowd waiting in line...walk in and the opening act that we drove 5 hours to see was on their last song. Massive fail. Also as the main act started, it was the first time for our group of nine to be at a concert and be able to talk in the back (about 20 feet behind sound booth) without having to raise it our voice. My 16 year old who was at her fist concert was asking if it's normal for the music to be this low.

Great place to see a concert. They could use more tables and chairs in the upper area. $8 Parking nearby is convenient.

I don't go to concerts often but when I do it's probably to see a reality TV star. The Tom Sandoval show was excellent. Naomi was great at helping us get our seats and making sure our view was clear for the show from the ADA section. We had a very good time and will definitely be back!

Saw Owl City and it was amazing. However the place itself is small and the drinks are off the rails in price, which is pretty normal for events like this. One great thing about it was it must have great ventilation because it did not heat up with all the bodies like I expected.

Interesting place. Bigger than I thought. Only thing I thought was dumb was the merchandise booth was on the one side and trying to leave venue the line was stopping people from leaving. The other was the exit and entrance was a bit small. Entering the venue was easy . Exciting was a bit of a wait. Then where I parked for The event omg. That was very terrible. Took almost 2 hours to get out. By that time the city workers came and just opened the exit so people could leave.

It'd been a minute since umphreys back in the day to attend a show at the intersection. Forgot how much I like it there. Great venue with all good memories ✌️❤🎶

For a small as everyone told me it was, they packed a lot of people inside. Being close to the stage wasn’t hard to do. Surprisingly didn’t go deaf even though I forgot ear plugs.

Always love going to the intersection for shows. The price per ticket is much more reasonable than Van Andel, shows are more intimate, and the closest competition in GR has to go to 20 Monroe Live.

Nice venue, a bit crowded with the setup the have with the bathrooms right next to the main bar and front door. The "upgrade" to a table and stool a couple steps up for $125 isn't worth it like most venue that have a real balcony.

One of the best venues I have went to. The security team always makes sure that everyone is ok and safe. The sound and visuals are always amazing. Highly recommend. Sometimes for newcomers it can b hard to know where to lineup but the intersection has gotten really good at putting signs up day of show so people know.

Last night was an absolute blast. It was a o nice to get out and see a show again. All the bands were amazing. The only thing I would suggest is that whoever does the sound check, turn the mic up. The music was louder than the vocals. I know the singer was crushing it but I couldn’t really hear him. All in all though, the people that come here are awesome and so was the staff.

I love The Intersection! It was a nice open venue which is grest for the mosh pit. The bar had decent drinks and they were quick to get people in the door. The bathrooms are easy to access and surprisingly clean despite the hundreds of people needing to use it throughout the night. I saw Dance Gavin Dance and althoughthe show was great I think they had too many people since I couldn't move my arms or anything by the end with how tightly packed together everyone was. Other than that I think it was a great night. (Not the best pictures but it was hard to get a good picture with all the people shoving.)

Nice spot for music.. the intersection I know was in east town. This spot has several venues in one building. Staff were great and the sound was also. Highly recommended The band is Dogs in a pile!!!
