Where would I even start! Probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been in the United States. Their mouth watering food is to die for. Been there multiple times and I would do it again and again. The service is 7 stars. Their cocktails are amazing! Desserts are so yummy! Super clean and has the ultimate fine dining experience. Highly recommended!

Everything about this place was great from the atmosphere to the service. I had reservations and they did a great job accommodating any special requests due to allergies and seating. We never had to ask for anything because they were on top on everything. Our waiter William was friendly, personable, professional and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. He even made sure that he knew the person with the allergy and asked them some additional questions. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.

I love this place. A high end seafood restaurant with very reasonable prices. We were a party of 5 and enjoyed professional and efficient service. Our server was very kind and patient. Reservations recommended. Everything was delicious from the appetizers, main course to the dessert. Each menu selection is mouth watering and I can't wait to go back.

We've only been here one time about 7 years ago since we are not from the area. Decided to come here again over the weekend since we were visiting the area again. Upon arrival we were greated by a boy who asked us if we had reservations. Since we don't come here often we didn't know that we needed to make reservations and he had a bit of an attitude about it which almost made me turn around and leave. Thankfully a nice girl noticed his attitude and quickly turned it around for us. She immediately sat us in what couldn't be a more perfect spot. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly, and informative. The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn't have asked for a more tastey meal. All in all this is a very nice restaurant with many delicious options to choose from especially if you enjoy sea food!

The staff was awesome and very competent, appetizers were very much on point, escargot(perfect balance of flavors)and calamari rings( breading was awesome, meat was tender, even for rings it seemed to be quality meat, and aoli complimented well). The wife ordered the lobster ravioli, ravioli was fine from what we could taste, sauce was way to powerful though, pretty much muted the lobster, I had the seafood pan roast, same story there as well, sauce was way over the top and almost seemed generic in how it did not fit the meal and was over powering. Shrimp tasted of iodine, which does happen for very natural reasons, soaking in milk usually evens it out. I ordered a bloody Mary(super simple drink I know but I love them) all I could taste was worchestire, no tomato juice used it seemed like, it was even brown in color. The price wasn't unrealistic but I did expect a bit more for a 140 dollar dinner for two. I will visit again, probably going to give it a bit though so the restaurant can get back into the swing of things again. My wife highly reccomended you guys from previous experience and everyone has bad days.

Enjoyed a fabulous evening here. From the front door folks who greeted us, to the bar temder, to out main server (Justin) to all the other servers. Polite, professional and friendly. Here for our anniversary and almost every server wished us a happy anniversary. And that is just the quality of the staff. The food was fantastic. From the starters of grilled scallops to the seafood cakes (lobster and shrimp and crab cake) to the main course )the whitefish and the evening special of Mahi Mahi.) My wife is gluten free and Justin made real clear what she could enjoy and what not order. Every dish was cooked well and plated with care. Right down to the warm roll. A quality meal that was well enjoyed. Hats off to the staff and the cooks

Once again Leo’s continues to set the standard for an epicurean delicacy. The filet melts with the first savory bite, the lobster exudes the juicy enjoyment of wanting more. The staff tops off the pleasantry with kindness, knowledge and much needed smiles that can be felt through the mask! Thank you for a great valentines dinner!

We love visiting Leo's for special occasions! Our first visit was for my husband's birthday a few years ago and we have been back multiple times since. Although it is a fancier restaurant, it isn't so pricey that you couldn't visit regularly. The only reason we only come for special occasions is we don't go downtown that often. We always get the lobster bisque because it is so good, but we usually try a different entree for every visit. I highly encourage everyone to order a seafood entree (lots of options since the name is in the restaurant) because they have all been good.

First time we visited this restaurant in downtown grand Rapids.. Food , ambience and service is awesome .. we tried mussels, scallops and oysters for the first time here.. The server (sorry forgot his name)guy took great care of us in explaining about all food in detail and was made as easy to order according to our taste. Paid parking across the street, but free after 6pm..

I had an exceptional time at Leo's! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service was impeccable, and the food exceeded my expectations. From appetizers to dessert, each dish was masterfully prepared and incredibly flavorful. The ambiance added to the overall experience, making it a memorable visit. Leo's certainly deserves a solid 5-star review for delivering such a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be returning!

Our first dining experience at Leo's was perfect. Unbelievable service, suggesting the best and not judging us for ordering 2 appetizers. The fresh sashimi has been in our dreams ever since. The seafood entrees were incredible. We couldn't dare eat more, yet our waiter had the audacity to bring out a plate of beautiful desserts we could choose from. So obviously we finished everything with some of the best tiramisu we have ever eaten. Top notch, easily entered our top 5 for date night.

We celebrated my husbands birthday at Leo’s last night. Like every other time we’ve dined here, the food and service were both amazing. We always start off with the calamari and lobster bisque (which is the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had) and then order the seafood panroast (which is an absolute must) and the chargrilled scallops. So delicious! Our server Brooke was so attentive to our table. We ended the night with his birthday sundae. We always look forward to dining in at Leo’s because we know it’s going to be a great experience! P.S. Brooke, you were right! It’s a girl 💗

I had a great experience at Leo’s. The service was outstanding from the minute I walked in the door. I dined here solo. I ordered the swordfish entree, lobster and crab bites, and salad. The swordfish was cooked perfectly. The dinner rolls were an added bonus. Definitely a quality meal. Highly recommend.

We drove in from Lansing, which is about 45 minutes to Grand Rapids. Making a reservation was very easy. Please tell them whether it’s a birthday celebration anniversary or any other noteworthy event. Everything was absolutely delicious. The drinks were perfect. The lobster was perfect. My friend said that the filet mignon was the best that she ever had. I love bread, and their bread was warm and soft. So good. It was a nice opportunity to take a short drive and just have conversation. It was a great time. Happy birthday Mimi.

This place is amazing. For starter, we had the mussels (which were good). I ordered chilean Seabass, which was perfectly cooked. My husband had the ribeye which was perfectly cooked. The only thing we didn’t receive was the bread, which would have been a nice touch.

The food hear is heavenly. We enjoy fish and it is well seasoned here. Looking at their hot soups I couldn't decide...so I got them all and loved each. They had a unique taste that satisfied all tastebuds. Friends all enjoyed their dishes as well. Our stomachs were full but somehow we left room for dessert and so glad we did. The strawberry ice cream cake is a must have. Lastly, the staff is fantastic. Very helpful, kind and knows the right wine to pair with your meal.

I had never been to Loe's before and took my wife there for a date night dinner. What can I say....The staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable about their menu items and the specials. Great atmosphere and impeccable seafood that was pretty much cooked to perfection. The whole team from the hostess to the front end manager seemed to be a well oiled machine. There was always food coming out, dishes being removed and drinks being refilled without a hitch..I would highly recommend checking out Lie's, and my wife and I will definitely be back.

This is a late review, but my family went here for Mother’s Day and everyone loved it!! I booked a reservation for us and we were seated within minutes. Our server was very polite and made sure to check-in on us when they could. We all enjoyed the food and had nothing bad to say about it. I had the corn chowder + the crab cakes and both were delicious!! I tried my grandpa’s seafood platter and the crab meat fell out of the shell so nicely & whole. The desserts were also very good. Overall, wonderful experience and the atmosphere was nice - not chaotic at all.

We were in town for work and stopped in for dinner without a reservation on a Friday night. The only place available was the bar and initially I was very apprehensive about sitting at the bar. The bar tender was so kind and attentive. He made excellent recommendations. I had the salmon and corn chowder and the crab and shrimp risotto. I am still thinking about that risotto today; it was sensational. It was creamy and packed with flavor. The crab sitting in the middle was fresh and sweet. The house bread was warm and perfect with the most incredible salted butter. My colleague had the fish and she finished every single bite. If I’m ever in Grand Rapids again, this place is a must eat!

Very well-prepared, good quality seafood and reasonably priced for a finer dining experience. Nice ambience and low noise level allowed for easy conversation. Mussels for a starter were done very well with good flavor and mild soup broth not overpowering the entree. Seafood portions were impressive in comparison to similar fine seafood establishments. Seared tuna was prepared exactly as requested and a nice quality steak. Service was impeccable by Oceannea — very welcoming personality and pleasant conversation. Would hope to have her with us on a future trip to Leo’s.

The service was fantastic, wait staff very knowledgeable and attentive. There is a great wine selection! The servers made sure our water glasses were always filled. They boxed our food for us. The filet mignon was excellent, cooked perfectly, buttery and smooth. The desert was just as good!

We had such a nice time at Leo's. The food was delicious, the service, exceptional, their wine expert (Brian?) was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. He kindly helped me pick a nice bottle. ❤ Everyone loved their food choice. The Bouillabaisse was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time! So so good! Thanks for making my "family birthday celebration" one to remember!

We wanted a quick place for lunch after church and Leo was less than five minutes from church. One of the best seafood places we’ve tried, great service, smooth atmosphere, and all our food were cooked perfectly. Our new favorite seafood restaurant, See you Soon!

  • 4/5 Randy D. 10 months ago on Google
Overall a great meal! The entrees were priced well and you could have your fish prepared the way you like, my wife had the halibut lightly breaded and flash fried and it was the best piece of fish we ever had! I had the surf and turf and the filet was excellent! Great job chefs! There were a couple things they could improve; the christini that comes with the escargot was not fresh and crisp, the color of the bisque was off-putting, and the lobster tail was overcooked. They weren't all that busy for a Friday night but the servers were working hard. We are planning to try them again and will later update this review because everyone has an off day.

Leo's was delicious and amazing. The service is unrivaled and the food was gorgeous to look at and tasted even better. It is more pricy but it's definitely worth every dollar. They may call themselves a seafood restaurant but my wife got the steak and it was the best steak I've ever had. It was buttery, rich, and pretty much melted in your mouth since it was so tender.

  • 1/5 Anissa F. 3 years ago on Google
This was my first time dining at the restaurant. It was for my best friends birthday. The other ladies in the party have dined there before in the past and had nothing but excellent things to say about the experience and food. Although i had to send my steak back the food was excellent. But the service was poor our waitress was not pleasant or conversatable but was conversating with the table behind us. As i said the other ladies also agreed and spoke on the matter of her poor service and felt that she did not deserve her gratuity. It took her approximately 2 hrs to place our dinner order and another waitress put the bug in in her ear for us. I would truly say she did not deserve the 20% gratuity. Between a party of 6 we spent a little over 450.00. I would not be returning. My first experience was not great and plus i could count the amount of other diners in the restaurant so there was no reason for the lengthy time or poor service. We all agreed that they would be losing 4 customers and what could have been a new customer.

Amazing everything. Service, food, atmosphere. Had the scallops for an app. A must do. My husband had surf n turf, I had the special of crab legs. All of it was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Would recommend every time you come to GR.

My overall grade for Leo’s Seafood Restaurant is: A I was a bit pleasantly surprised that such a high-quality seafood restaurant existed in Grand Rapids. The menu is great and the wine list is very decent. Started with their duet cakes: a crab cake & a shrimp & lobster cake. While I wish they were a bit larger, it is what it is. Great flavor. To pair with our seafood, I spied a 2008 Chablis. Very unusual to see a nice white with age on a wine list. Thanks Leo’s! My wife ordered Chilean sea bass. Delicious. Our server recommended the bouillabaisse. Wow. All sorts of seafood and to top it off, they crack it all for you table side. So great. I rarely call out servers by name, but last night, this server made the entire experience much more enjoyable. “Sam” (Samantha) really demonstrated how well this position can be executed. Warm, friendly & knowledgeable about wine & the menu. Great interaction and helped us order a great meal. Lou’s should do all they can to keep her happy. Ask for Sam when visiting. Skipped dessert but coffee was good. What could make it perfect? Valet parking. We will return. Great experience, highly recommended.

Leo's is our chosen spot for celebrating anniversaries, and we've found real value in their esteemed guest program. It's a straightforward discount system that makes a noticeable difference. We make a point of requesting William each time; his service is always amazing. The seafood, especially the lake perch, consistently impresses us, a nod to our Cape Cod roots. The flexibility of the kitchen staff in accommodating plate modifications allows us to enjoy new and familiar flavors alike. Desserts like the creme brulee and tiramisu are must-tries—they've become a delightful finish to our meals. (I'd have better pictures, but the food was so good I kept remembering to take them after I'd eaten lol)

This would get a five star on the desserts alone. However in general this place is great. The food excellent. The staff energetic and alive. The dessert perfection. The atmosphere and design is all around great. Love this place
