Drove over 2 hours to watch Oppenheimer in the best quality and the entire movie had awful lines through it. I can't believe they let this happen and I held out hoping they would fix it. I tried to find a manager around before leaving a bad review but they had a single kid holding some garbage bins who I wasn't going to bother. At least you can maybe not waste your time or money (until they fix it).

Wonderful venue for an entertaining time out! Especially nice are the "recliner" chairs to make watching a movie far more comfortable. Even better is the seats are reserved, so no issue with losing your seat. Of course, the popcorn, drinks and other snacks are part of the experience - and while it costs more, just go with it. The are video games and other things to keep you busy, plus, there is also a full-bar for those who wish to imbibe. Something for everyone and a lot of fun!

Sad I have to share this experience. On Sunday 11/13 we had a private viewing of Wakanda Forever for Black community members and leaders. The event's purpose was to be an uplifting and safe space for Black folks to be in community and watch a film that holds significant meaning to our community. It was supposed to be a special night. However, some of that safety and specialness of the event was clouded by how our group was treated by Celebration North staff. Overall, staff was very unwelcoming, unaccommodating, rude, and provided poor customer service. We were treated with hostility and disrespect. Here are some examples: 1.) When some of the guests in our party arrived, they told staff they were there for the 6pm private showing. They were rudely told to just "go stand over there", without providing any hospitality or direction. We know that we were responsible for getting guests tickets, but we would expect kindness from staff. 2.) When I arrived to check in for the event, I said I was there to check in for the private event and a male employee stared at me. Another staff member came up and chuckled and said "I'll handle this one." 3.) Even when we provided seat numbers, we were told that staff would not bring concessions into our theatre because they didn't have seat numbers. This seems like an inconsistent practice because they brought concessions into other theatres. An employee did end up bringing concessions to our theatre but told the guest, "We won't bring it in next time and don't ask again". 4.) Overall the theatre was very short staffed even though I told Erin the event coordinator in advance that we had 50 confirmed guests. 5.) When they were bringing the popcorn over to our table I asked the employee if he was also bringing the pop cups. He rudely stated, "I was going to next" and rolled his eyes. He brought the cups and just threw them on our table without any direction or kindness. 6.) When I asked Erin on Sunday morning if she could confirm arrival information for our guests, she just said I was responsible for passing out tickets and didn't provide any helpful information about what the set up would look like. These are just a few examples but overall we are very disappointed in the service we received at Celebration Cinema. I would like to highlight the kindness and pleasant demeanor of one staff member who was accepting tickets last night (I can't recall his name, he was a blonde young man). He was the only employee who treated us with dignity and went above and beyond. It is unfortunate that in 2022 there are spaces where we still are not treated like our lives, experiences, communities, and joy matter. I am not sure what a meaningful path forward looks like. I do know you may also hear from other dissatisfied guests in our party because it was a huge theme of the night. However, I'm grateful that our community still took up space and enjoyed the movie despite the poor treatment from employees.

Awesome movie theater the theater was clean, well staffed to handle big crowds on opening day for the movie I went a saw. I was impressed to hear they actually bring you food hot food to watch with the movie. I ordered cheese sticks. Definitely will be back.

It would be helpful if "ushers" (idk if they're still called that) would check the theaters occasionally to see if guests are "behaving" appropriately. Large group of teens would not stop talking and someone with a baby would not leave even though child was crying. Ruins the experience for everyone else.

So I’ll never be ordering food from here again, I’ll stick to my popcorn. Went in with my boyfriend to watch FNF and we ordered the loaded nachos which were delivered to us COLD, so I brought them back and politely asked for them to be heated back up. Went back to the theater and waited ; guy comes back and drops off the nachos.. colder than the first time. So they didn’t even bother heating them up or anything. At this point I’m extremely upset and these nachos are like $12, once again I go back out to the front and I’m approached by what seems to be the manager? He asks me if there was anything wrong and I explained to him what happened, tells me he’s going to talk to the cooks, comes back out and tells me that the temp for the nachos was like 160 degrees when they got sent out (that’s like equivalent to a cup of coffee and our nachos weren’t even room temp.) I looked at him and told him there’s no way and that they were really cold and it’s the second time I had to come out here. Told me they couldn’t heat it back up a third time and that they couldn’t remake it. What? So why should I have to eat cold stale nachos that we paid $12 for? Was going to get a refund and just order the nachos again but at that point I was fed up and didn’t care. Just overall disappointed with the way the situation was handled and felt it was unfair.

The VIP pass is the way to go if you're interested in going for any IMAX movie. At $3 more than an IMAX ticket, you are now able to watch 3 movies/week for a month. Essentially at $3 more you could watch 12 IMAX, DBox, recliner, regular,... Shows at no cost. It's a very good deal and I highly recommend.

It's probably the best movie theater I've been to in the greater GR area. Reclining seats, great food & snack options (delivered to your seats!) They also have a really good rewards system. It seems like every visit, I have a $5 reward I can use. IMAX is definitely worth it! Love seeing movies here with friends and family

It was an overall wonderful experience! We drove over from Mount Pleasant to see Oppenheimer on 70mm IMAX and the theater employees were wonderful, parking was great and the movie was incredible. The only thing I hand an issue with was the bathrooms. The men’s bathroom was a mess and even one of the wall tiles in a stall was completely busted in. It was probably due to it being end of the day on a Friday night and I’m sure it’s not normally like that. 10/10 for me!

Seats much too close together. No legroom, knees getting banged by the guy in front of me leaning back in his chair. No aisles in the middle so when people arrive late the entire row has to stand up to let them pass. This was the IMAX theater, not impressed. Chairs are worn, showing their age. Very crowded room, didn't smell great.

I love everything about this place (except for the $). The employees are nice the theaters are cleaned for the most part and the theaters are excellent in quality and sound and visualization! It's on the other side of town for me but it's like a get away from me. I plan on going back two more times this week

We always love and enjoy the IMAX 3D experience at this Celebration Cinema North location ❤️👍🏻. The concessions clerks are very nice and helpful. This time we watched "Avatar: The Way of Water" and with the 3D effect, 3 hours of movie seemed too short 😁.

The location and staff of this theater is perfection. I've been coming here consistently throughout 2023 and have never had an issue with the staff or theater itself. They have many screens and show a ton of movies. I like the fact they show indie/local movies here and have a good rotation of flicks. The reason they get a 3* review is because the corporation removed the app they had and the website is terrible. It's not so bad that I'm done going yet, but it does tarnish my movie going experience enough to leave a mid range review.

Celebration Cinemas are our go to theaters. Myself, my best movie buddy, and a couple members of my family all are longtime VIPs. We normally go to multiple movies a week and our normal go to location is celebration South. Sometimes due to movie times we have to go to others. Celebration North is not bad most of the time. Very often the small popcorn stations are a disaster, which seems to be normal at this location, and especially at the IMAX end of the building. We love the reclining seats at this location, but that's not enough of a draw to get us there on a regular basis compared to what we consider the exceptional experience at celebration South. And on another note, for ALL celebration locations, they have switched from the excellent seasoning they used to have, to what I understand is a cheaper, local supplier, and this stuff is horrendous. It really detracts from the usually excellent popcorn and the experience. This new stuff is nasty, leaves a terrible taste in your mouth, and covers your fingers and popcorn in a mushy paste. THEY REALLY NEED TO SWITCH BACK TO THE OTHER STUFF. Now get out and go see a movie!

Very fun experience. The seats are very old. The cookies were brick hard. Glad they had a soda refill machine right near the IMAX theater entrance.

This place is always a very smooth experience. Lots of theaters, comfortable seating for the most part. Also check out the Cold Stone next to the theater after your movie, can never go wrong with Cold Stone!

Went to see Avatar on opening night and spent $91 on 4 imax 3d tickets. When we got there after the 40 minute drive we were told their imax 3d was down, so we watched it in regular 2d. Movie was still great, but disappointed in the theater itself. 3 stars because they did give us a ticket to see another movie for free. Seats were so close together but visibility was really good.

The movie theater itself is amazing. The theaters are huge and seating nice. They have lowered the volume where you can hear other people in the theater. My main complaint is management here. There is a young guy that is a manager there, I think his name is Nathan I’m not completely sure he worked today, but his attitude when you come with any complaints (I have only had 2 ever and each time of course he was the one I dealt with) is crazy rude and the last time I went to the Studio Park location instead because of it. Today I was just confused about a ticket and had a rough day so I’m sure I sounded spent, but his tone was seriously uncalled for, especially in a customer service role. Seriously for someone already having a bad day, not the way I want to be treated.

The reclining heated seats are so amazing! It makes going to the movies at more comfortable. Won't go anywhere else. Just a little tip buy your tickets online so you can choose your seats and make sure there's enough seats for whoever your going with. And then your don't have to stand and wait in the ticket line.

Heated reclining seats! What's not to love. Easy in easy out. Food was pretty good....hot dog with all the fixings delivered to your seat. It's been awhile since I've been to a theater so for me it was a welcoming experience.

Wonderful experience. The new seats are very comfortable. The seats that I had are push-button recliners with temp control. Good for those who are cold. Off for those who are hot. Great sound performance in each theater. I choose to go here vs. other theaters that are closer. Theaters are clean and maintained. Prices are higher than other theaters, but it is a great experience.

I love this movie theater. Granted, it’s the only I have gone to in a while so I don’t have much to compare it to, but the food is good, points add up to nice discounts, it’s adequately clean, the staff has always been friendly, first popcorn refill is free, and I just found out they will bring your pizza to you in your seat (and it’s delicious!). Most importantly, the seats are roomy and comfortable and recline. Going to movies can be a pricy endeavor, but in my opinion it’s worth the price at this theater.

I love the regular movie theater rooms they have set up. The seats are great and so are the screens and sound system. The only thing thats makes this a 4star would be the IMAX room. I decided to watch the new Guardians of the Galaxy in IMAX and it was pretty underwhelming. The seats were still the original seating. They were very worn-out, old, and close together. Not the most comfortable experience. The screen and sound system were great though. Would not say IMAX is really worth it at this location though.

Hesitant 4 stars. I love the fact that IMAX is available, but the creaky, cracked-leather seats in that theatre really need some updating if tickets are gonna be $20. The non-IMAX theatres are in good shape though, and the refreshments are always solid.

The new heated recliners are awesome! Was nice being one of 5 in the whole theater but I'm sure they weren't as they didn't make much $$.

The movie was fine, but everything felt dirty. There were messes all around the fountain machines and butter/seasoning station for popcorn. Barely any clean space to set something down. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned recently either. The IMAX theater had sticky floors and hadn't been cleaned before the show or maybe even that day. I expected more from a place that charges $20 a ticket.

Nice new seats that recline, and have a tray.. plus they are heated!

Made the trip up from the south side of the county because Noryh had an earlier start time for the movie that we wanted to see. 11AM start time and, by 10:50, the doors were still locked! We won't make that mistake again, since Celebration south is much closer and, obvioisly a better run theater!

Nice theatre but getting super expensive. I just can't pay over $120 for a family of 4 to see a movie with 1 drink and 1 snack a person. I rather spend that kind of money elsewhere.

Didn't watch a movie, hung out at the bar until the dinner reservation time was upon us. There's quite a selection of liquor and some beer. It was a pretty quiet place to sit on a Saturday evening for an hour or so.

Loved the improvement to the seats in theater 16 hope all theaters are like this one. Also I liked $3 special. It gave people who couldn't afford to go a opportunity to see a movie.

I love this theater. My only complaint is they have not updated their chairs to recliners yet. I often opt going to a different theater for this reason. Otherwise, the food, and staff are all great
