Lovely facility for live performances. Several nearby areas to park and/or eat. Police controlled traffic for entrance and exit times. As of today, mask optional and proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test no longer required. Limits to bag size and required metal detector for crowd safety. Tonight we are enjoying the Grand Rapids Symphony.

What a gem in Grand Rapids. Enjoyed seeing Hamilton here & the price was great! Had awesome seats just below the boxes & the audience was fantastic! I did not hear one person talking during the performance! The only caveat was the shortage of women's rest rooms.

We went to the Grand rapids Comic-Con here. The reason I give it four stars. Is the fact that after we spent $35 for our tickets each for that one day we get there and we're told no outside food or drinks even though it never says that on the website. I know it's nothing really major to complain about. but when you can't eat or drink certain things and you have to bring your own snacks or drinks and they tell you you can't at the door but don't tell you that on the website it's kind of aggravating

The ABBA Mania show last night was Great! This group has a lot of talent and puts a lot of positive energy into the performance and music. If you are an ABBA fan, you will really enjoy this show!

Great unique space to host events!!! The building design πŸ‘Œ plenty of underground parking with access to the venue and parking across the street!!! Security on hand and friendly! This event is the 16th food, wine, and beer tasting!!! Great turn out of vendors to choose from! Definitely coming back. Please have tickets on had and in person!!! Every vendor complained and purchasing tickets only was a missed opportunity!!! Scanning the wrist bands and all!!! What happen to raffle ticket system πŸ€” beautiful views of the rapid waters!!!

Went for the Grand Rapids wine, beer, and food festival 2023. First time going to the festival. It was a pretty neat experience. We have been to other events at Devos and Devos Place is a rather large venue and hold events and the attending people nicely.

Had a multi day conference here that included an exhibitor show, multiple catered meal times, and technical meetings. The facility is very nice and clean. I saw multiple people taking care of the facility throughout the day. The meeting rooms had good sound separation so even with amplified speakers we were not distracted by meetings next door. Whoever was doing coffee and then the food for breaks and lunches did amazing. Good location too with a few different hotels to choose from nearby and the Grand River to watch.

Every time I go here I am impressed. I just went to the car show and it is always so clean and well kept. The employees of DeVos place are very nice and helpful. This is the go to spot for any convention or event. Also parking is perfect, if you park in the lower level you can take the elevator up right into the event center.

Waiting in line. No bathrooms until security lets you in in about 40min. Off to a great start. Have time now to read all the other terrible reviews. Should have done that before i came here. Agree with all the other 1 star reviews.

Terrific venue downtown GR. Facility has always been well taken care of and staff is friendly. Devos Place is also in walking distance to several great restaurants.

Went for the Wine, Beer & Food festival. It was a great experience! Great people, service, and variety! Highly recommend! ... one piece of advice: Bring a bottle of water!!! You would think Meijer would have more sense!!

It is a pretty decent trade show facility for a small town. The auto show keeps shrinking smaller and smaller each year.

Great theater! Large enough to enjoy the excitement of the crowd, small enough for intimate enjoyment of the performance. We've made the trip from the Detroit area a few times to catch shows here and the drive is well worth it!

The DeVos Place is the Best Grand Rapids location for seminars and conferences. Not only are the conference accommodations clean and convenient   but the catwalk back to the Amway Grand makes this a perfect event location without having to drive back to another hotel. The DeVos Place also has well thought-out acoustics in their various rooms, with larger video displays in some to allow  hosting larger dinners / seating arrangements away from the stage. (Check the schedule for the Feb annual car show!) 😁

Went for the Oddities expo. The only complaint was that they could've spread the venders out better. Each vendor was hard to get to see anything due to the grouping of them. Maybe spread out and have some lined against the walls. The place is huge, though. Parking went smoothly, as well.

DeVos Place is a large convention center that was easily capable of hosting a gathering of 2000 people. The location was easy enough to access, with parking available in multiple places near the facility. But all of those parking locations did required you to pay. There were also many hotels nearby to accommodate the 3 day conference. Also there were many options nearby for food with restaurants of varying price ranges. The bathrooms were kept relatively clean even with so many people attending the conference. The main room was very large, but even with the decorations on the main stage, it did feel a little stark due to the size of the space. There were many breakout sessions aside from the main room that were nicely furnished. Overall, it fit the needs of the conference rather well.

Great for large gatherings. Been here for the West Michigan golf show and the Advanced Manufacturing expo. Both are laid out very well. Bathrooms are accessible and clean, and they have concession style food available. Parking across the street at Ellis Parking is expensive though. I was there for 4 hours and it was $27. I believe Devos Place has their own parking as well, not sure of the cost though.

Was here for a shed builder conference and had a great experience. Concessions are a little pricey (which you would expect at a convention center) but the staff that was there were all friendly and very helpful. Can't wait to return next year!

We have had a great experience recently while attending an event featuring Vince Gill. the seating is comfortable with plenty of leg room, Bathrooms are convenient and clean and Easy parking under the facility makes it easy in and out for events. As a Realtor, I find it important to recommend the best places for entertainment for my clients. This one gets an A+. :-)
