Amazing cocktails, fantastic service (Shaimim in particular was amazing with a joke for every occasion), and possibly the best scenery ever! Absolutely perfect!

We only had a couple of cocktails but these were amazing. The beach is beautiful, clear blue water, golden sand and quiet.

Very friendly stuff, smiling and polite. We were passing by and they were very kind to help us with our questions. Makes us happy to see such kind people. Prices are reasonable if you consider that this is a small island and all products being delivered to here from mainland. Sun beds provided are very clean.

Beautiful beach with really great food and super friendly service. Very kindly split our one meal we shared for a light snack onto two plates with extra sides.

Location for mass-market tourism. One both arrives after the other. There’s a ton of activities with inflatable plastic objects for lazy tourists who do not want to swim, or walk, but prefer to be shuttled around noisy boats polluting the environment. Yes, the service is friendly. As in many other locations around the island, there are big plastic objects abandoned on the beach. It would take little effort for the local staff to keep them tidy and preserve this piece of paradise. Yet, they don’t.

We have been lucky enough to stay at Trou d’eau Douce for 7 weeks. Unfortunately we never discovered La Flibuste on the Ile au Cerfs until half way through our stay. In our opinion, there is nothing to compare with this incredible beach and restaurant. In particular Shameem runs the show with a really friendly and efficient team. Relaxed, charming, helpful, delightful. Thanks so much guys for making our holiday so complete. See you in February. And by the way, superb chef and food. Thanks Shameem
