Went here for a root canal, had the worst experience of my life. DO NOT GO HERE! You will thank me later. I went for a root canal and they never finished it on the first appointment and I left the dentist in pain, in fact in so much pain I had to come back a day later and have another doctor look at my tooth to help get the pain down as it wasn’t done properly the first time. I went in for the second appointment well third now at this point and after destroying my face some more and FINALLY doing in X-ray to tell me I have to have my tooth pulled. So now it’s been 3 appointments, thousands of dollars and I’m still where I started in pain. After the numbing went down I come to find that they left sharp ridges and very poorly done filling so I had to go to them for the 4th time now. I will never go here again and I would not recommend it. Been nothing but a waste of time and money. Now I’m going to a new dentist to not only fix my teeth but now they have to clean up the mess GP Dental caused. YOUVE BEEN WARNED

My coworker referred me to West Prairie dental. Booked in for a regular cleaning for myself and my husband out of desperation during covid 19 since our regular dental clinic (South 40) cannot accommodate us as they’re fully booked months ahead. Anyways, biggest mistake of our lives. Nothing but disappointment when it comes to a very unexpected billing after. The dental tech did a great job don’t get me wrong, she’s amazing. But the issue there was the front desk ladies who do not do their job prior to seeing new clients like what happened to us. I have requested weeks ahead to pls send a request to our medical coverage (Hubby & I have both from our employers) just before our appointment. Front desk lady said everything’s fine and 100% covered and so we left after the treatment and made us signed on their consent form. But after few days, we received a call and an email saying we have to contact them ASAP and make XXX amount of dollar payments either in person or via etransfer. I couldn’t believe so I called and requested if I can speak direct to their billing department to resolve the issue. We never had to pay anything for just a regular cleaning ever with South 40 for over 10 yrs. So we are both so surprised from this unexpected billing. Make story short, accounts receivable lady had to admit that they made a mistake. I was billed for extra work they did for my husband that my husband didn’t event request and somehow billing got mixed. I was beyond upset and requested them to pls make necessary adjustments to our billing because I personally checked with our insurance providers about it, did my homework before we went see them. Took them few days to issue us a revised accurate billing that matches on the work done with us. You cannot bill clients random numbers just like that. It’s your guys job to double check first everything before upselling “stuffs”with your clients that’s not requested. Definitely would be our first and last. Have requested them numerous times to pls remove our names and number from their solicit lists and yet they kept calling. Please stop. Thank you.

After having a few less than ideal experiences at my previous dentist office, my husband recommended i try out west gp dental. have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place! Every hygienist and dentist I have interacted with have been nothing short of wonderful. I always leave feeling like I've received the best teeth cleaning of my life. The girls at the front desk are always friendly every time I have been in as well. Always very well taken care here 😊

Absolutely amazing staff! Our son is terrified of the dentist due to a past experience when he was very young. They took the time to explain every step and answer every question he had!

Had a great experience! I have noise/light sensitivity, anxiety, and on top of that have a fear of men and dislike going to the dentist. They were kind, understanding, and patient. The prices were reasonable too. I will definitely be back.

So happy with my experience at West Grande Prairie Dental. I usually struggle when I go for a cleaning at my past clinics but this time I actually enjoyed it. Catherine Joyce was amazing, so patience and she went through every question I had. Thank you for the excellent service! I highly recommend this place 😊

If you have insurance I recommend that you ask for a pricing first before commencing work. Their fees are higher then what I am covered for by my insurance and they will surprise you with a bill

My 7 week old son had a lip tie & tongue tie. West gp was phenomenal in doing the procedure ms !! Highly recommend this clinic!!

Had 2 wisdom teeth removed and can’t say enough good things about the treatment I received. It was a difficult tooth to get out with the way it was positioned and other dentists even refused me treatment because of the difficulty of extracting it but Greg was confident he could do it and he made it quick and painless. Healed up within a week and I am really happy with the professionalism and Greg’s quality of work, I would definitely recommend anyone to go here if they have wisdom teeth that need to be taken out.

Do not recommend they have absolutely no patience for children we drove 3 hours and booked a double appointment just for them to tell us they didn’t have time
