Medium size park but still has a lot of open space. Very well maintained and seems to be popular. It has a playground, sand volleyball, soccer field, shelter house that can be rented, restrooms, paved walking trail that goes around the park, benches, picnic tables, and the woods part of the park is a hill behind the parking area. There are paths/trails in the woods but aren't really organized in any certain way. It is actually a small area of the park. The parking area is more than adequate. The only thing that seems different than most parks is that dogs aren't allowed and there are signs throughout the park saying this.

My 6-year-old son loves this park. This is one of our favorite parks in the area. It’s clean, we feel safe, it’s in a nice area, and we love the environment. He loves playing in the sand volleyball area and hiking in the woods behind the park. The only problem we have here are older kids blocking the best slide there. But that will happen at any park.

Fancy shmancy Grandview greenspace with a playground ideal for smaller kids and restrooms that are HEATED in the winter. BUT they don't allow dogs and have "No Dogs Allowed Signs". There are signs stating free wifi at the playground, although I didn't try it out. Only in Grandview are there wifi parks that don't allow dogs, lol. There are also picnic tables although most of them are on the grass adjacent to the parking lot. Nice spot for a quick stop to get out of your car and eat your takeout food, though.

Great playground. My three year old was able to do almost everything there by himself. There are bathrooms next to the playground as well as some picnic tables. The event center can be rented out too. There are some trails right behind the park in the woods. One of them connects to the neighborhood behind the park. Lots of parking and easy to get in and out of

My friend and I did the dessert tour. The host was very engaging and friendly. He did an exceptional job explaining everything. We stopped by bake me happy, dough mama, paddycakes, jenis and then the miranova. We had a fun time, although we got full pretty early. So I would recommend doing the tour on a empty stomach.

We did the alt eats tour. Good service, good food, interesting fun facts, the people on the tour with us were friendly, and the guide knew a crazy amount of info. She knew so much that PBS interviewed her about the various ethnic foods in Columbus.

Great park, convenient location. Love that the playground is far enough off the main roads that you as a parent aren't constantly worried kids are going to run in the road. Great walking path, playground, swings, open fields for soccer or any other variety of games, nice little woods with unofficial paths and a creek to explore. Good parking, very clean bathrooms, nice shelter space that can be reserved for a fee, good amount of trash and recycling cans. The library story walk around the perimeter walking path is great, and they offer free wifi at this park. Grandview parks does a great job with the upkeep of the park.

I love this park! It's great for young toddlers and older kiddos too. Many climbing areas, swimgs, slides and things to do. When I first visited, I felt like it was a playland! They also have a nice, reservable indoor area for parties and events. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. They also have water fountains. Around the playground, there are wide open grassy areas. There is a volleyball net and place to play, and some picnic tables scattered throughout. I highly recommend, but do note that it is popular and can get crowded.

Park has a hiking trail. Nothing too overbearing, a great activity for the entire family. There is plenty of space to walk dog and/ or jog while kids play. Volleyball sand area and restrooms on site. This park is clean every time my family visits.

This looks like a visually appealing park as I am driving past it. However, the rents in Grandview are quite high, so I'd imagine that the children on this playground have gold-plated sneakers.

We LOVE this play ground. My kids call it the "elevator park" because the piece that will slowly take you down to the ground. It's such a neat park that truly addresses a range of ages including adults. There are places to pick up a sand volley ball game, go for a small hike in the woods, play frisbee or fetch w your dog. There is a fun path round the playground to ride scooters and love there is a couple handicap accessible pieces too and even a bench swing for the parents!. Downsides: The bathrooms are sometimes locked. Not enough shade right by the playground and that rubber flooring gets hot and radiates the heat making it almost impossible to play on hot summer days.

OH MY GOODNESS, just tried their Trust Fall meal for the first time for a COVID-friendly date night and it was absolutely delicious! We are pretty foodie already but they introduced us to a fantastic restaurant that we hadn't tried before and delivered it despite a snow storm. Highly recommend and now we know what to do for "dates" from now on! 🙂

  • 5/5 Denise B. 3 years ago on Google
Tried their #trustfall and loved it! Our meal included hot items, cold items and ice cream, and somehow they managed to keep the hot items hot, cold items cold, and ice cream frozen. There was a ton of variety and good portion sizes. Best of all we got to try something new and support two local businesses. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a long-time fan of Columbus Food Adventures, and I recommend them to anybody coming to town. But because of a darn gluten allergy, I haven’t personally been able to participate as much as I’d like. During these weird COVID times, CFA started doing mystery meals — Trust Fall dinners — where they introduce you to a unique culture through food. And lucky for me, they had a gluten-free dinner! The experience was awesome, and I got to try a restaurant I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Everything was very efficient, professional, and fun, and the food was delicious! 10/10 would trust fall again.

I'm a huge fan of Columbus Food Adventures. They organized a personalized tour for my family (8 people total) for Christmas last year. This was my gift in the spirit of "experiences, not things." We had all ages, from a rambunctious 8 year old to a frail 83 year old using a cane. The tour was absolutely perfect - everyone was accommodated from my picky vegetarian teenager to the elderly folks to the younger ones. The van was super comfortable and accessible for the older people, and for some reason the 8 year old thought the van was really exciting. The restaurants were prepared for us, so we just whisked in and out and didn't have to deal with finding our way around, parking, and so on and could just enjoy each other's company. The tour guides gave fantastic descriptions of all the cuisines and neighborhoods, and the restaurant owners were gracious and hospitable. In fact, we spent the week between Christmas and New Years returning to the different restaurants. My family is still raving about it and this tour changed their view of Columbus from sleepy Midwestern city where I happen to live to a really cool place that they now all want to visit. The question is - what to give them this year that could possibly rival Columbus Food Adventures as a gift? P.S. I have also enjoyed the Dessert Tour and the Alt Eats tour - both highly recommended.

Was a fun trip to a lot of restaurants that I had not visited before. 2 or 3 of them were amazing and I will go back. Our guide was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable of the neighborhood and it's history. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get a real "feel" for an area and what type of establishments it has to offer.

I highly recommend the German Village tour! We received our gift certificates for a tour as a wedding present, and we were thrilled to take the tour as a staycation. Logan was our guide for the afternoon. He was very personable and provided a lot of information about the history of German Village and the architecture. We could tell that he enjoyed sharing what he knew with our group. We went to seven different restaurants and had a good-sized sample from each. A full meal was not served at each location, but we had plenty to eat by the time the tour was done. We wouldn't be able to do a tour like this on our own. We'll definitely go on another tour around the best places to eat in Columbus in the future!

  • 5/5 Matthew M. 4 years ago on Google
Vegetarian-friendly! Andy was a wonderful, accommodating tour guide. I was concerned that I'd get bland salad at every stop but there were flavorful dishes at each restaurant. At in all but one, a veggie option was part of what the whole table got so I didn't feel singled out so much. Recommended!

This was super fun. We did the brunch tour and it was great. The tour guide (Dusty) was awesome and very friendly. Great gift for friends or family or yourself. Will definitely to this again.

My brother and I joined the Alt Eats II tour on Jan 2020 and had a fantastic experience. Andy, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly and the food items picked for our experience were outstanding. The hosting restaurants were gracious hosts as well. I am a guy with a healthy appetite and by the time we finished all 5 stops on the tour, I was too full to even eat the fortune cookie that was provided at the end of the last meal! The social aspect of joining some other foodies on the tour made for a delightful evening as well, so if you are someone who enjoys new food experiences, I highly recommend taking the plunge and taking on this adventure!

We went on our second tour with Columbus Food Adventures last Saturday - the Short North Tour. We loved that we started in the North Market and got to sample so many places there. Columbus Food Adventures was a blast! My boyfriend and I went on the German Village tour and Logan was an incredible guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and shared so many fun facts with us. The food was incredible at each stop and all the restaurants were so welcoming and accommodating. I received a gift card for the tour for my birthday and now plan on getting this as a gift for everyone on my list!

This is my 3rd food tour with Colubus Food Adventures and I always have a great time. It's a good way to get to know an area of Columbus while enjoying some good food. We had an AWESOME time on the German Village food tour. There's a great variety of food, only a couple actual German restaurants. Definitely some spots that we will head back to. My friends and I took the Old Worthington Tour and it was terrific! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed visiting the different stops on the itinerary. The food and drinks were amazing and we were definitely stuffed by the end of the tour. Likewise it was so interesting to stop at Igloo Letterpress where we learned about the printing presses they use and the type of printing projects they do...we even got to print our own coaster! Our guide, Nikki, was awesome, so friendly and knowledgeable...sharing with us facts about various historical sites!! I would take this tour again, it was so good!! Debbie Moore

I can't say enough good things! I went on the Old Worthington tour with a few friends for my birthday. My sister and I took the Taco truck tour recently with Andy as our guide. We had a great time and appreciated the info he shared at each of our stops. The German Village Tour was more than we ever could've hoped for!! The food was excellent (which we expected having been to some of the stops before), and our tour guide, Logan, was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. We did not expect the tour to incorporate so much of the history and architecture of German Village, but we loved that part of it! We will definitely be signing up for other tours with this company! What a great experience!!

I experienced the Grandview Avenue Tour, and it was outstanding! Along with tasting some of the best food and beverages in Columbus, I enjoy meeting the establishments' owners or managers. That is a very nice touch as they provide great context by sharing their history, philosophy, unique qualities, etc. The "cherry on top" was touring a few of the kitchens. Bethia and the tour guides are very knowledgeable, passionate and professional. I suggest a Columbus Food Adventures tour for visitors and residents alike and look forward to booking my next tour with them soon!

My father and I took the Alt-Eats Tour and were both extremely impressed by the wide range of cultural experiences we had in just one evening. The tour was highly organized and Bethia was a charismatic and well-informed tour guide. It was immediately apparent that Bethia took a lot of time to curate the stops on the tour, and that each place we visited resonated with her in a personal way. This really made the tour -- and of course, food -- feel special. We had a wonderful time, and can't wait to go on more CFA tours this summer.

Great park for kids to adult. Playground is a great are for ages 1-10 yrs old. The playground has a cushion rubber floor... so to keep the kids from bust"n their heads open. There is the soccer field, sand volleyball, and then another open field that we generally use to fly kites. There is also a event room to have parties...

This is a nice park with a wonderful shelter house. However, I'm not sure who designed this slide, but it's a recipe for melted skin. This play area could really use one of those special covers. And maybe a slide without skylights.

Very cool park if you've got little ones (4-11 years old). They'll find plenty of other children to play with on the playground and there is a small yet adventurous trail with a steep hill that both adults & children will enjoy. Plenty of field space if you're into frisbee or just want to lay out on a blanket in some shade.

It is an amazing playground. For ages 5-12. 2 big slides, plenty of climbing on "rocks", rope bridge, rope climbing, 5 sets of swings as well as a lift. Supporting facilities (restroom and water fountain is available during the warm season). Adjacent is a volleyball court and plenty of grass for and picnic tables. Limited parking spots available.

We take our 6yr old grandson here all the time. There is plenty to do on the playground and there is also a volleyball and soccer area. In the Winter time the hill is A-blast to sled down.

I love that the bathrooms are open year around. Huge plus with 3 small children. This park is perfect for multiple ages of kids. I like that it has the soft flooring so I can put my baby down to play. It is challenging enough for my 4 year old to stay busy playing. My 2 year old can enjoy the first level of the playground without help but need a boost of encouragement to get to the the top. In the past we have done the wood area, which is also nice.

I take my cat here regularly to run amuck! Very pet friendly a beautiful hill to walk around in and if you are a bike rider there are several trails you can peddle up and down and all around. Perfect little park for all your columbus needs

Great park with plenty of things to climb, a nice paved footpath surrounding plenty of green space to picnic, and a little wodded area to play in.

I haven't explored that much of this park (seems like there are trails) but I've come here with my friends and their kids, super awesome playground! Also some good trees to hammock on as well.
