Delicious food! The Vine is by far the best Italian food I have ever had. I've had plenty of bland noodles and tasteless steaks or Prego flavored spaghetti but NOT HERE. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Vine yourself.

We went out for date night, so we choose The Vine. The service was superior, the food was out of this world. We ordered the homemade red pepper soup, apple cranberry salad, spaghetti and meatballs and lemon basil shrimp with capellini then chocolate cake with Ganache! Yum, yum, yum it was amazing!

Staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, ambience was beautiful, and the food was really good. If you're a family on a budget, be prepared for sticker shock. I think I definitely got what I paid for, though. Four stars instead of five because we did not know they were kids portions until we ordered. That would have offered this father some different options in considering the menu for the family.

We checked in and were told about a 25 minute wait for a table for 2. We asked if they needed our name and they said no. Just wait. So we waited and waited. The hostess sat 2 other tables before us who arrived after us. So we waited some more. Finally we were seated and the waitress who has been there for a while was very kind and helpful. However when the main dish arrived, Chicken Carbonara, there was so much oil you could see everything separating. It was honestly not good. This place used to be so delicious and now it's just not so great. Hopefully it was a one time thing but I doubt I'll go back to find out.

The restaurant itself is quaint and charming. A little romantic with the right company, which wasn't the case for me as I am on a company trip. The food was fantastic! I had the parmesan chicken with spaghetti. Absolutely amazing. And the portion size was wonderful. You definitely get what you pay for. The staff were polite, friendly and funny as hell. Would most certainly return and recommend to anyone for great atmosphere and awesome food.

My family and I came here 30 or so minutes before close on Sunday night. Our waitress was Chante A, and she was AMAZING. She was attentive and kind. She didn’t rush us as we ate and had a few drinks. She even gave the kids suckers for being good at the end of our meal. The food was great and everybody left satisfied. Thank you The Vine crew and especially Chante for an awesome meal!

This place was amazing, when with my friend who is gluten free. Many options and they serve organic as possible. We had the clams and garlic apps to start which were nice. Then I had the lemon piccata chicken which was amazing, really cool breading how they did it. So many delicious options and we got to go and the feed back was super delicious. Come here

Brunette server needs evaluation after tonight's visit... Asked for sauce and she said she would be right back. Little did I know she never came back. Then she said they didn't have any sauce after I asked again. My potatoes were essentially rocks. No steak knife, I had to lumberjack chop it with a butter knife. (ps. asked for water and she never gave it to us. Almost reached terminal dehydration.)

I've been here a bunch of times, and I've never been disappointed. The food is consistently great, and it is served hot to your table. The spices used enhance the natural flavor of the meal. I've been to restaurants where the chef tries to disguise the natural flavor of the food. This is definitely not the case here. The old world atmosphere is more implied than actual, but it achieves a very cozy place where you aren't rushed. The wait staff is very willing to accommodate your needs and is happy to recommend a wine to go with the meal. The only negative here and why service doesn't get a 5 star rating is the front desk was unorganized. Customers should have a smooth entrance experience to be seated and we sort of felt like we were intruding since we didn't have a reservation.

We had a wonderful experience both times we went. This is the best Italian we’ve had in grants pass. The service is on point. I recommend a reservation, especially for weekends. The roasted garlic appetizer was well balanced with the bread and cheese. The lasagna was flavorful and perfectly spicy. The ravioli was in special, and packed with crab. We can’t wait to come back and try more menu items!! Cheers 🍻

Not what it used to be. Last three visits were very disappointing..... Quality of service, quality of food off. Staff tried to block my talking to management. Won't bring friends there anymore. Too expensive for what they offer now. Wish someone would pay attention and restore The Vine to what it once was. Guess I'll have to find a new favorite restaurant. Tired of being disappointed and not getting value for my money.

Great food and service, one of the higher end dining experiences around here.

Our family went to The Vine to celebrate my daughter’s, who recently diagnosed with Celiac disease, birthday with family. This was the first time in Southern Oregon she’s been able to order nearly everything on the menu because it all can be gluten free. The staff was amazing and so helpful and knowledgeable about celiac. The food was delicious and for the first time in a long time, everyone in the family LOVED their meals. This made my daughter’s day and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend The Vine!!!

This place is a hidden gem here in Grants Pass. How I only heard of it today, I'll never know! Look, the chicken parm was like I've had so many times on the east coast, AMAZING!!!! My wife had a shrimp plate, and it was delicious!!! Not only is the food great, but huge portions!!! Now the staff??? OMG, they're always on the lookout just in case you might need something. They're just the best!!!! My wife and I will make it a regular monthly night out! Did I mention affordability???? We ate, had 2 beers each and I think before the tip, it was 60.00. Very affordable! Great job guys! We'll return real soon.

Such a great place to eat! Food is excellent and the service top notch. We had Sue as our server and she went above and beyond. She is the best of the best. We will be back and be sure to ask for her!

My first visit. Seriously delicious, every bite. Can't wait to return. This is just me, but I'd darken the mustard or tan colored walls to a richer color, the awesome music a bit louder in the back section, and lower the lights a little with candles lit on the tables. That's just me, but it would then be PERFECTION! Thank you for a wonderful 68th birthday dinner with a dance and kiss from the waiter!

I can't give this place a genuine review. We went there for lunch only to discover it is not open until 3pm. The door was unlocked, yet there was no one there to greet us. We found the cook in the kitchen and he informed us they weren't open. We were told that if we wanted to come back in the evening that it would be best to make reservations. This is a small place with only a few tables. They do have an interesting sounding menu. I may eventually give it a try, but I don't eat out often in the evenings.

I dine here every time I visit from my home on the coast. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. I personally love the sausage lasagna. Don't miss The Vine if you're in Grants Pass.

Food was absolutely horrendous. Canned pasta sauce. Strange seasonings. Everything was either flavorless or tasted bad/weird. If you’re in Prants Gas stick to burgers and burritos. Server was good and knew not to ask “how is everything?” and instead “is there anything I can get you?” (She knew the answer to the first one 🤮)

Absolutely amazing place to enjoy a wonderful meal in a family style atmosphere. We had some delicious food and we were shown excellent customer service. Chante and Darian were so caring and attentive to us. They were so speedy with our food and drink and Chante was so sweet with our baby daughter. She lovingly entertained our daughter to give us a chance to enjoy our meal. By far the best hospitality I’ve been shown in a restaurant. Now to the food. We had the bacon and lintel soup. It was very flavorful and hearty. Next up was the main course. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked chicken parm and my wife had the beef boscaiola pasta. Food was wonderful and the portions were very generous. The prices were very fair. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend the Vine for anyone looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere!

We had a great meal, the food was delicious, it was very hard not to keep eating that pasta! We were just traveling from California to Seattle, and decided to stop in Grants Pass. If you are local, I recommend this place as your to-go Italian restaurant and if you are driving by, trust me is worth stopping for a meal.

I went with my son daughter-in-law and two granddaughters everyone was very pleased with the dinner and portions that they got I know my order of spaghetti and meatballs was more than enough for two people to eat so we had generous amounts to take home I leftover. We will definitely be back for more of the great spaghetti spaghetti sauce and really tasty meatballs

We have always loved this restaurant, we’ve loved coming over the years and ordered out and eaten in tons of times. Sadly, our last experience makes me never want to return. I hope this review helps the owners to re think their management and the way they treat costumers. When ordering our food I asked our waitress what options were available for kids meals - she said one of the options was “kids chicken Alfredo” which is assumed to be Alfredo with chicken on it since that was the exact name of the dish. We all got our food & loved it - when I received our check I saw I was charged $16 for the chicken on the kids Alfredo. I spoke to our waitress and reminded her she told me it was chicken Alfredo not Alfredo and chicken needed to be added. She said ok she’d try to remove it & was very nice. The manager came over and I can only describe our conversation as condescending and lacking all reason. I told him how the waitress had described the dish and he just would not listen, he kept just asking me - “well did your kids eat the chicken?” “ did they like the chicken?” I told him that had nothing to do with the fact that If your dish is called “chicken Alfredo” I’ll assume that chicken comes on it just like If I order beef stew or turkey lasagna I’ll assume those meats come included, he just kept saying “ well you have to pay for meat on dishes” or “did you even ask for the price of the dish” just completely irrelevant things that lacked understanding for the actual situation which was quite simple - I ordered a dish that had the word chicken in it and didn’t think I should be charged 16 extra for said chicken. Ultimately he took the cost off which was really not that important to me. What was really important was how rude and disrespectfully I was treated. I honestly could not believe this person was a manager- he had no ability to have a cohesive or reasonable conversation & was a poor listener. Sadly, this whole experience made me never want to return which is really sad after all our years of coming.

Incredible food with fantastic service. Everything on the menu except for the lasagna can be made gluten free. They have a gf fryer, separate pasta water, and I've been told the chef is gf so I felt super safe. Seriously amazing food that completely kept me safe.

First time here, it came highly recommended. There were a lot of people dining that evening but happily we were seated within 5 mins. We started with the Caesar salad which was very good. I had the lemon basil shrimp, very good and would order that again! My husband ordered the fish and chips, unfortunately they ran out of salmon which is what he was going to order (next time).
