I
had
been
here
once
on
vacation
before
moving
here.
It
was
a
ghost
town,
no
vibe.
I
read
the
article
in
Sneak
Preview
and
was
excited
to
support
a
fresh
start.
Christian
greeted
us
on
a
Friday
early
afternoon.
He
reported
that
he
was
acting
as
host,
bartender
and
server.
We
sat
at
the
bar
to
give
him
a
break
and
to
have
a
chance
at
better
service.
He
was
attentive
and
friendly.
I
ordered
a
flight.
It
did
not
come
in
order
of
suggested
tasting,
which
made
me
have
to
refer
back
to
the
menu
to
decide
the
order
in
which
to
drink.
I
didn’t
love
any
of
the
beers.
Im
an
IPA
fan
(Boneyard
RPM
&
Rogue
OuttaLine
are
two
faves
for
reference).
I
like
hoppy
forward
and
crisp
finish.
We
ordered
“Brussels
sprouts”
from
the
happy
hour
menu.
They
arrived
deep
fried,
disappointing.
If
the
menu
would
have
described
them
as
deep
fried
I
would
not
have
ordered
them.
Do
what
you
want
to
a
potato
but
sprouts
are
better
off
roasted,
not
soaking
in
grease.
We
ordered
the
“hipster”
pizza.
The
crust
was
crispy
and
chewy,
perfect.
The
inside
underneath
however
was
undercooked,
disappointing.
We
also
ordered
the
caprese
grilled
cheese.
The
basil
was
fresh
and
delightful.
It
is
served
open
faced
with
a
round
of
mozzarella
and
tomato.
This
was
beautiful
but
left
8
bites
of
just
plain
dry
toast.
The
other
people
at
the
bar
seemed
like
regulars
and
were
having
a
good
time.
I
wish
them
the
best.
