I freaking love this place! It's so calming and relaxing and they have firework shows along with the fishing.

Google Maps will direct you down a road (sunfish?) that is gated, and closed, so you cannot access this place unless you park in the lot designated for boat trailers (vehicle tow warning posted for non trailers). After trying to find another way in to avoid being towed, we decided to park there since someone else did. It was around noon, on a Monday. It's an okay spot to see if you're from out of town looking for a place to view the lake, but it was dry & there was a lot of trash! There were covered picnic tables and a broken grill. I think the nicer areas are on the other side of the lake!

Beautiful area to catch the sunset. Only open to cars on fri-sun. Weekdays you have to park at the gate and walk, but then you almost have the place to yourself!

Such a pretty and relaxing park to enjoy the sunset! I like to ride my bike around to watch the sunset.

It is really beautiful to watch sunset from here. I guess the park closes after sunset. So, right after(like just 1-2 mins) sun falls below the horizon, the park people started blaring warnings that the park is closed. It is kind of bummer if you're here to spend your evening with someone special. And also, as other reviews mentioned the parking is not very clear. So just get creative.

This area was vast plenty of room for our work picnic we played games like cricket had plenty of food from our Indian friends and family. Every thing I tried was amazing. By night everyone enjoyed fireworks

Sundays is typically when the area is open but when it is, the lake view and sunsets are great

Beautiful park on a very unique lake shore. Nice place to spend the day cooking out, and jumping in the water!

Very pretty shoreline. Nice shaded areas and covered tables for picnics. ACOE charges $10 but if you have an America the Beautiful pass, it’s free!

$10 per vehicle fee, no vehicle Monday ~ Thursday. It is not clear where cars can be parked Monday ~ Thursday since the area before park fee sign is marked as no parking / tow away zone.

It was very dirty from people leaving their trash. Other than that it was a beautiful place to sit and relax.

The views were great across the lake. Having covered picnic table areas was fantastic in the heat ♨️ on a sunny ☀️ afternoon. However,, I was saddened to see a lot of trash laying around even though they had plenty of trash cans. Even worse, some folks think it's okay to just dump there used grilling charcoal anywhere they please. I was taught you always want to leave a place better than you found it.

Nice viewpoint of the lake. There are some tables and places to sit but could use a little clean up to make it nice to sit.
