This is one of our favorite summertime spots to enjoy the lake. Parking is close to the shore. Usually no fee to park except holidays. There is a nearby portable potty if needed. Typically level of clean. The city of Grapevine does a great job maintaining the park. I have been to prettier beaches and lake swimming areas but it’s always been easy and quick for us.

Love going to this park sitting out in the sun and listening to the waves hit the sandy beach. Relaxing and watching the boats on the water is so therapeutic. Great place to chill!

Good park nearby, only 10 minutes away from grapevine mills, has a big marina and boat parking, softball fields for kids, some spots for fishing and a beach. The accessible trail part is not long enough. There is only a few picnic spots , those go very quickly on good days. The beach is mostly red clay. They offer free life jackets. The beach gets pretty busy on hot days: a lot of families and kids. Dog friendly park, beach. Has a covered gather-up area for big parties further away from the lake. Overall good place for a picnic at the beach.

I forgot how nice Lake Grapevine and the parks are. It's a great place to swim, sun bathe, fish or just play. Several dogs were out enjoying the water with their owner.

Great place to enjoy nature while remaining physically distanced from other humans. Most of the walking paths have plenty of space to skirt around other people if needed. Free entry, which weirdly enough is not a guarantee in this area. Plus, they have these lovely picnic tables with giant umbrellas, which is great when the sun is beating down

Beautiful park and amazing sunset with bluish water. One of the best lake in DFW. Picnic area and restroom. New and big parking lot. I just hope people clean up their dog poops and keep the park clean. Saw a lot of dog poop everywhere.

I just love this park. Grapevine Lake has been a staple growing up in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs. It has everything. From bike trails, playgrounds and boating/motorsports. You can not go wrong with this place. Two of my closest friends were baptized last weekend. And the Bethesda Church picnic was wonderful!

I've created many great memories in this area. This park has quite a bit to offer for runners, walkers and bikers. It even has a great spot for kids. Best of all, it's by the lake. The trails in this area do not have elevation, so this wouldn't be an area to hike, if that's what you're looking for. Also consider the weather when you visit - the best time to visit is Spring and Fall.

Playing on field I this morning and it was great. Nice facilities, fan friendly. Bathrooms were well maintained, clean and even had scented hand soap. Sorry about the north stall but I had a chorizo breakfast burrito and really had to unload.

Please wear your water shoes or something. So much broken glass on the beach. Water is nice and beach is over clean besides the small pcs of broken glass.

Very peaceful. Lots of trails and great for groups and small intimate settings. Plenty of parking spaces. Beach was not overcrowded...Can't wait to get a paddle boat to venture across to the secluded little island. The area where you have to pay to park is excellent and the price is reasonable. Only had one problem....someone let their dog loose...he purposely released him....I think that was pretty mean...dogs are supposed to be on a lease. This was a single incident...most dogs are not aggressive.

Our grandson played today on field 1. It has been my favorite field so far as we had been coming here for years & thought this field was great. Also, we had restrooms close by. The only problem was that the soap was empty & the hand sanitizer wasn't working. Other than that, we enjoyed our day there!

We love this place, the kids have so much fun we can bring our food and spend the day by the lake! The restrooms are always nice and clean as well as the trash cans. I recommend this lake!

Great place to play ball. Slow concessions though. Only running one window out of three during peak hours. Neat, clean and organized. The veiw is great over the lake as well.

Great park with some shoreline and picnic areas. Definitely can set up for a picnic in quite a few areas, even along the shore. Good open spaces to throw a ball or fish as well. Some people were swimming in the area as well. We like to hang out here summer evenings with a nice lake breeze and watch the sunset.

Beautiful area in Grapevine TX. Was very flooded into grassy areas, when there last, due to continuous rain in Texas. Covered areas for gatherings, but not enough of them. Lots of grassy areas, so bring your own chairs, table & food. Bathrooms few & far between. Road in & out is quite narrow with SUVs coming in & out with boats.

Beautiful park with lots of great amenities including this outdoor calisthenics / body weight workout space. They’ve got pull up bars and lots of other great equipment.

It was great I loved the water but people kept getting in our space but not to close. There was supposed to be a fire work show every Friday but they canceled it bc of COVID and not having enough equipment.

Great view of lake. Lots of spiders and the clay is quite dirty so prepare a change of clothes and shoes for the ride home and a good car wash right after. Great spot for family day outings. Close to the store as well.

I really do like Oak Grove. The city maintains and grooms the beach, picnic area and sports complexes very well. There are trash cans and dumpsters placed all over the place. My only complaint is so many people have so little respect for the park and other people. But I guess there will always be zombies. Still, good work Grapevine.

Awesome lake with clean sandy beach, and grill area to enjoy Sunday Funday.

Went there to bird along the lake and then through the wooded trails. The dinosaur exhibit looked intriguing and made me want to grab a kid and go see it myself! Always clean grounds, friendly staff.
