I stay at hundreds of hotels every year and this was by far one of my favorites. It was basically a studio apartment with a great kitchenette including a two burner stove top. I loved the layout of the room. Very bright and light with a large window. My room looked at the golf course and was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, especially if you travel with a dog. Good location for military returning from overseas needed to pick up a stored car at the Dallas VPC.

The checkin location was confusing after a long day of travel. The signs are what made it even more confusing. Plus, when you walk into that nice Courtyard lobby with nice furniture and neutral colors to check in, and then have to walk back to TownPlace with ugly yellow walls and basic dull lobby, you realize what a dump you are staying in. I looked back at pricing and it wasn't that much more to stay at Courtyard. Only reason rating wasn't lower is because the employees were so nice (@breakfast and @checkin).

Rooms need to be updated old sheets on the bed torn carpet and outside back parking lot garbage was never removed the whole entire stay . Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone . Please don’t stay here until construction is done !

If check out is at noon and I have the don’t knock sign on the door don’t beat down my door at 11. I got in late I was out before noon like I was supposed to be. Not acceptable for a Marriott

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years when I travel into Grapevine for work and it’s finally time to say goodbye. This hotel used to be extremely nice, but is now in desperate need of an upgrade. We had a two bedroom suite and the AC in one of the rooms didn’t work and the couch and chair were completely worn out. The warmth levels of the lights within the room all varied and there were rips in the trim and carpet that was just old. With that being said, the employees are very nice and the location is convenient.

Overall: The hotel is a great value and the location is excellent for those looking for a place to stay while you are waiting to travel out of DFW Airport. Room: Clean & Comfortable: The amenities are well used, but very clean. The bathroom appears to be very recently updated. I was very pleased that the HAVC allowed for the fan to stay on all night – very useful for those who need white noise. Lobby & Public Spaces: Clean and open: The lobby and desk area were very nice and the breakfast buffet was nice. Services: Very nice shuttle service and good ‘in-a-pinch’ store had the basics needed for travel. Employees: Employees were responsive and friendly. The shuttle driver – Cookie – was exceptional. He helped us travel to the airport and provided an excellent level of comfort.

We hosted an event there and had about 100 people come in from all over the US. The place was super clean, super accommodating and really felt like the staff was family can’t say enough good things about this property overall 10 out of 10 experience.

The woman at the front desk was not friendly. Shuttle service doesn't start until a shocking 730am. Its right near DFW that means it's servicing people going to airport. Other hotels I've stayed at in the area have 24/7 shuttle.

Bring your own cleaning supplies!! Filthy rooms. Rude front desk staff. Bed bugs remains in mattress of pull out bed yet no concern from staff regarding this!

Great location and has a lot of amenities. The room we were, though, smelled so musty and moldy that we had to go to Target to get some air fresheners just to make it through the night.

Nice rooms, great for longer terms stays, centrally located to a lot of great food, entertainment and more. The venue for events and their staff are amazing! Elevator for Townplace was in need of remodeling. Use the car on the right... It was the best of the two.

We stayed the night before we left for vacation because we had an early weekday flight and didn’t want to deal with traffic. The rooms were great and the shuttle driver Cookie was wonderful, friendly and very informative!

Abyssmal internet speeds, I cannot even stream any shows and playing any games online is completely out of the question. Over the corse of the last 3 hours I've ran at least half a dozen speed tests and the average is 1.89 Mb/s download. I don't expect my 600 Mb/s fiber speeds I get at home here, but I would at lease expect DLS speeds. Rooms are spacious, bed is only a step of from sleeping on the floor. Other than that, the property is lovely; they have a great bar/pub in the lobby and the breakfast is decent.

Awful, I am trying to contact the personnel and nobody answer the phone, voice mail is full, the Marriott line tried to get in contact with them and nothing... they gave an email address and it does not work... for being a Marriott, really bad service

A bit disappointed with this place. Lacked most amenities - No shampoo, no shower cap, no hand lotion. Had to go to the front desk to request. Carpets looking a little worn and paint chipping on the walls. It needs a spruce up and more complete bathing kits.

Super surprised to see negative reviews. I've had an amazing experience here. Beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms with everything you need (kitchen, plates, glasses, laundry baskets, the whole dang shebang). Staff has been amazingly kind. 10/10 will recommend to everyone. Will also be booking here again. Loved it.

Needed to attend a conference at Gaylord, which was sold out, so picked TownPlace to stay. The facility is actually combined with Courtyard and you check-in at Courtyard. The advantage is you get to have the bistro food if you like to eat in the hotel. Room was nice and comfy. Staff was friendly and courteous. Location was ideal: 5min to Gaylord, food places, and the outlet mall.

Only used their parking so I cannot review the hotel but it is a very clean facility and the staff at the front desk are nice. On the way, the driver claims he did not forget to stop by terminal A but he has his route and stops at A very last. On the way back, they initially told me the shuttle will arrive in 15 min but it did not for 45min. It took an hour to get back to my car from the initial call to the hotel.

Changed our reservation last minute because the people that were supposed to check out of our room decided to extend. Not my problem! I have extended at Marriott before and had to change rooms. They notified us 10 min before check in. We reserved a two room suite since we were traveling with three children. We ended up with a king room and a two queen room that weren't adjoining they were across the hall from each other. The next day the elevators were not working I was on the 6th floor with all my luggage and front desk advised very rudely, ma'am we have stairs. Really! Wow! Will not stay at that location again, in fact might not be staying at Marriott again.

Fantastic property. However, no security is provided for vehicles in parking lot. A friend had his catalytic converters (2) stolen off his truck the night of Nov 30th. When reported to staff, no help or concern was provided. Apparently, criminals can roam the parking lot at will to smash & grab and steal catalytic converters. So beware and be aware! 😡

Where do I begin...for starters, shuttles only run til 10pm. Our flight landed at 10:00pm so we needed to get find alternate transportation to the hotel; no biggie. Upon check-in, we were told the only room available for that evening was on first floor in near proximity to the free continental breakfast area. I tend to be a heavy sleeper, but I was awoken by all the chatter in the hallways; still not a big deal. This is where things go bad. The catalytic converter, from the truck I was borrowing from a friend of mine, was stolen out of the parking lot near the lobby. No cameras or security, so hotel is not liable for any damages, so I was told. Front desk staff at that time was not helpful at all and I was pretty much told I was on my own to file police report, etc...I guess I should have read some of the reviews as someone else's truck was stolen from the parking lot. Bed bugs were present in our room. We attributed the bites on our arms, neck, and legs as "mosquito" bites since we aren't from the area. On the last night of our stay, my wife and son complained of itchiness after laying down in one of the beds. This is when I discovered traces of bed bugs under the sheets. The front desk staff was very nonchalant and dismissed our concerns. Definitely not something I would have expected from a legitimate concern for bed bugs. If you can avoid this place, please do so. There are many other hotels nearby to choose from. I wish we would have done the same.

We finally got into our last room after 10:00p.m. after beginning the check-in process at 2:00 p.m. with many excuses as to why the room wasn't ready. Another room had much hair in the bathroom floor and had to be recleaned. The shuttle service that was supposed to be included in our stay wasn't available when we needed it and we were told to get an Uber or taxi to get back to the property.

If I could leave zero stars I would this is by far the worst hotel I’ve been to went for a family reunion and it was disgusting. Let’s see where do I start we complained over 10 times for numerous problems. One blood was on our sheets but they claimed it to be “rust”, the curtains in the room were nasty as well and had stains on them, the bathroom was nasty shower curtain was so old it had rusted. Just spend your money elsewhere also they didn’t even offer refunds for the terrible experience just free drinks from the bar.

Me and my friend were here on business. We were shuttled at 6 am to the resort for an all day event. After the last activity around 10:00 pm we called Towneplace to request a shuttle. Unfortunately, the drivers had left for the day. The clerk was very insensitive to our situation and recommended an Uber or taxi! Don’t recommend something you are not going to pay for! We were in a different city where the time is high and you suggest alternative transporting when in fact the shuttle dropped us off and was very aware of the conference. After all, the resort is a sister company. Gaylord refused to bring us back! Do not use the shuttle if you are planning on being away for the entire day. Just upset by the whole incident!

This hotel is connected to a Courtyard Hotel as well. I can’t speak to the Courtyard but TownePlace is in desperate need of an update. The room is dated and you actually have to check into the Courtyard Hotel as there is no one that covers the front desk of this hotel. I don’t plan on staying there again as there are numerous other quality hotels in the area that are far better.

Great hotel. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Everything you need is in the room.... Refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, dishes, silverware, ironing board, iron, laundry basket... lots of drawers and closet space. Breakfast is included in the morning. Shuttle service to the airport. Friendly and helpful people at the front desk. I highly recommend this TownPlace Suites!
