I really wish I didn’t have to write such a negative review but the ER doctor who took care of the patient in Room 2 at approximately 9:30 - 11am on Saturday June 4, 2022. ( Short Caucasian blondish hair) was the absolute worse. I brought my friend in who was clearly have a medical emergency and was going in and out of consciousness so I was doing most of the talking for her. She was asking my friend various commands and when she asked her to sit up my friend did in which the doctor made the comment “she’s not too out of it she sat up.” She also snatched my friends mask off her face as if she was annoyed with The nurse that was also helping ( Indian decent) she was also very nasty. My friend needed to used the restroom she apparently was extremely agitated at this request. She asked my friend to stand up in which my friend pondered all her energy to try to do so. She then nurse asked was she dizzy my friend said “slightly” the nurse then says we’re not gonna take that chance and sits my friend back on the bed abruptly lays her down and then starts violently her pants and underwear off of her with clear Agitation. It turned out my friend had a life threatening event. They obviously thought she was acting. I use to love this hospital and would recommend it. This past experience I definitely will never go or recommend anyone again. If I could give negative stars I would.

Zero stars if possible. It's sad when you try to communicate to those who are supposed to assist you (i.e. Recovery). My husband had an outpatient service at this hospital by doctor request for this specific location. There is always that one or two that are lazy, insufficiently equipped to handle phones, and lack proper communication skills. My husband called the number he was provided after surgery if any issues should arise. So, we did, we called. Only to have two separate individuals, one a nurse proceed to laugh as my husband cited his grievances of pain to them. Yes, laugh. I called back and the nurse wouldn't allow me to speak, spoke over me, and she spoke in circles not answering the simplest of questions. It was clear that not one bone of empathy existed with this individual. It's sad to know how many in the medical industry have arrogance in place of empathy. Let it be known to those nurse(s), you chose your career path, you chose the location, and you chose to work with sick people. If you are so dissatisfied with your said choices, perhaps you are in the wrong profession/industry. Get your attitude adjusted or do everyone a favor and QUIT. We ended up going to Texas Health where we were treated with dignity and empathy. A discussion will be made and corporate will be contacted as well. Disgustingly Appalled.

The doctor in the emergency room Natasha Singh is the most horrendous person I’ve ever met. There should be no reason this woman should hold a medical license. Not only for her atrocious bedside but for her lack of knowledge. Her bedside is so poor even her nurses were APOLOGIZING for her. I had bronchitis and felt like a was a burden for going to get assistance. She was so horrible there shouldn’t be a person like this on staff. There is no way anyone should come to this hospital and be treated by this woman. And incredibly racist.

The billing department for Baylor is filled with crooks. If you're an expected mother, I would consider a different hospital based on my wife's experience. They are billing the newborn care my daughter received in a way that does not apply towards my wife's deductible. The bill is being coded as if the baby's care is not related to the maternity care. In turn, drumming up additional charges to go towards my daughter's deductible. This is a way for the insurance company to pay less and the hospital to make more. I've worked on trying to find a resolution for many hours now and I will keep fighting. Currently filing a complaint with TX DOI and HHS. This is ridiculous that I have to work so hard to get the right thing done here. All respect I had for Baylor is lost.

I took my son to the emergency room because he was vomiting and had diarrhea. Dr. White promptly gave him medication for nausea, but instead of being discharged, we were kept waiting for hours for COVID test results. Despite the fact that my son did not have COVID symptoms, Hospital prescreening, ER nurse, and Dr. White all confirmed this. The hospital has denied me a detailed statement of the services provided and/or an explanation of why a COVID test was needed and why it took so long. Billing only tells me that the "code" used is correct and the charges are based on the "level of care". #### UPDATE #### I just got a call from someone at Billing, Baylor is now claiming that my son had nasal secretion and that is why a COVID test was required. I challenged them on this, and they tried to justify it by saying that it was likely leftover from vomit. However, I am sure that my son did not vomit at the hospital. The hospital also admitted that there was a wait, but they claimed that it was because they were monitoring my son. This is another lie, as the nurse never showed up. I actually had to search for her after being neglected for hours and she apologized as the wait was due to the COVID test results. The after-visit summary that Baylor gave me on that day shows the reason I took my son in, his vitals (which were taken twice), and diagnosis. There is no mention of COVID-related symptoms in the summary, either by Baylor or myself. It is unfortunate that Baylor, where my children were born, will not even acknowledge the error on their end and continues to justify their actions with outrageous claims despite the evidence. I am considering hiring a lawyer to get them to admit to their mistake.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience in the ER & when I was admitted! I was waiting for a survey so I could gush about them but never got one, so here I am. The nurses & techs were all so exceptional, professional, and accommodating it was almost surreal. I was quite ill & they treated me like royalty & was actually amazed. I’ve had many experiences with sick family & one stay myself at another hospital that I won’t name, and will NEVER a go back there as this is my hospital now! If anyone is listening please treat your staff very well so you keep the quality I experienced! It means everything! It’s not just by comparison, they stood out as exceptional on their own! Thank you thank you!

Came for outpatient diagnostic testing ordered by my doctor. Was quoted an amount at both scheduling and at check in. Two months later got a bill for three times the amount quoted. When I called billing they had no explanation except that they “don’t know” how much tests cost ahead of time and that the estimate is a magical number produced in space. For billing practices alone, I’d chose another facility. Update- hospital billing did follow up on this issue and assist with the additional Charges, due to a mistake within the procedure codes used for the estimate. If you have similar issues, it is worth your time to pursue submitting a review to billing management.

I was a patient with you all for a few years until 1 week ago. I’m 5 months pregnant and my experience with the grapevine location with Dr. Berzinskas has been hell from the start, she’s not very caring for new mothers, she doesn’t care about the pain I was having didn’t provide any suggestions, she told my fiancé that he didn’t need to come to my next visit!? I read that She’s against people having babies that are not married, which is why she probably was treating me so poorly, I wish I would’ve done my researched on her before accepting her as my care doctor, there was never a connection with her, I’m not sure why she’s even in this field. The past two days I’ve been dealing with tooth pain due to my wisdom tooth and the dentist office need some type of documentation to provide the necessary procedure for X-rays and etc, when I contacted Baylor Scott yesterday no one would help, later that day I was informed that the doctor left early, I called again today and spoke with Katherine the Manager for the obyn office and she stated that she would work on getting the letter sent to my portal, it’s been 2 hours! I called back only to hear that Dr. Berzinskas will not approve the X-ray because I transferred from the hospital, my doctor appointment with my new doctor isn’t until next week, by law Baylor Scott is still responsible for my care for 30 days until I see my new doctor, I’m still in pain and will go the extra mile to report the facility for not caring for their patients. If I have to take it to social media I will do so!! @bswhealth @bswhealth

Tho the nursing staff was good the ER dr himself was worthless. Came in thru ambulance w back injury to my spine area that I have spinal stenosis in. Told him I had pain, heat/electricity running down my left side/leg radiating from my spine. Only took CT scan then said I was "ok". Didn't bother to check my movement, weight distribution or if I could walk. Been having to use a walker since I left there for about a week now.

I have always received great care at this hospital. During my last hospitalization, Nurse Savannah on the 3rd floor provided me with comfort, care and peaceful hope during my stay. Of of the nurses, Savannah was is my favorite. She was intuitive, informative, smart, friendly and professional. She was also funny, making me laugh when I was feeling so poorly.

I have mixed feedback for this hospital. I went to the ER on Wednesday morning for severe pain, got treated and sent home on drugs with no other solution. Was still in pain on Friday so went back around 11pm Friday night and got treated HORRIBLY by the intake nurse. She showed so much lack of concern almost as if I was lying about the amount of pain I was in and dismissed me telling me all they would do is give me something for the immediate pain and send me home to figure out the rest. I ended up going back Saturday afternoon having to have an emergancy MRI and they found a severe optical nerve inflammation. Thanks GOD for Dr. Hatcher and the Saturday afternoon team. If it weren't for them not only believing me but taking the steps to help me find out was going on I would still be in unbearable pain. I wish I remembered the MRI techs name because she too was a godsend and made me feel comfortable in a terrifying in painful situation. It's a shame that I had to go 3 times and convince someone to listen when I was obviously in pain and my medical history doesn't show me in the ER often. Shame on that intake Nurse Friday night, but thank you Dr. Hatcher!

I had a scheduled c-section a little over a week ago and just had to leave a review about the labor and delivery section of the hospital! The labor & delivery & postpartum nurses were SO amazing! They are complete angels at this hospital! I had the best experience here with them. They are so kind, encouraging, & they stay on top of your care! I LOVED that they had a nursery during the nighttime hours so I could recuperate and get some much needed rest. I was actually sad when we left because they made my whole experience so incredible from the time we got there to be prepped for surgery, to the time we were discharged! Also, the facility seemed clean and well kept. I had my first baby at a different hospital and this experience was way better than my first. Thank you Labor & Delivery! I had several different nurses so I can’t for the life of me remember every name lol! One that stuck out (because I had her more than once & she was just super sweet) was Anne Marie! We loved her! I cant recommend this hospital enough if you’re having a baby!

ER was great, really appreciated the Dr and staff. Nursing staff on floor left much to be desired, they're probably understaffed. The very few times I pushed my call bell, no one came. Hours later when a nurse would show up the response was always "no one told me". Highly don't recommend GI Dr. K with TDDC. Dismissive. Right as I woke up from sedation she told me you're fine, I'm signing off. You're stressed and causing these symptoms yourself. Stop breastfeeding and take this medication. Walked away. No offer of follow up or discussion if I don't want to stop breastfeeding. I had JUST woken up from sedation and had no family with me. Hospitalist Dr. Fazili, I believe, extremely kind and thorough. Offered to let me stay another night and monitor, but I declined after my experience with Dr. K. I also don't appreciate the staff member who said to me "you had 3 kids in 4 years" how would you expect to feel. My child bearing decisions were not applicable to this person and none of their business. Anyways, left feeling the same as I went in so that stinks. BTW the pre-op area nurses were super cool, compassionate, and funny!

This is a brief incident synopsis since details and facts are still surfacing. Additionally this Mom knows the importance of protecting medical information and as such will be careful. Dr. Singh (ER) and others ( still gathering) violated my sons Hippa rights as well as releasing him while still hallucinating. I begged not to release him but they were upset because he got away and later found but made them look even worse. I also informed her we had good insurance and I wanted to transfer him to another hospital. NO she decided he was a danger to others ( not himself) and the police were called and arrested him !! I am investigating all the laws and procedures ignored as my son laid helplessly restrained and out of his mind.

Baylor Hospital Grapevine(TX) wins my extremely rare "GOLDEN MIDDLE FINGER" award! Admitted thru ER for chest pains, chronic coughing, breathing problems-wheezing, numbness in extremities I was admitted for 3 nights! While the nursing staff was a mix of good and terrible(newbies), the admins/doctors barely gave me the time of day! I have never experienced doctors ask questions and cut me off before I answer and seemingly running in place, like a jogger caught at a red light!! 1 doctor was hung up on a prescription I was erroneously prescribed decades ago which seemed to distract him from my condition at hand! I was NEVER told what was going on, NEVER told my overall and final diagnosis, what the seriousness of my diagnosis was, what stage I might be, there was confusion with the nurses as to if I could eat or drink so dehydration was an issue! Kept hearing i was getting an IV, that NEVER happened! Never knew if I was being discharged .The decision to discharge me didn't reach me until 3pm on Monday after 3 nights, I had noone I could rely on to get me at that point in the day, my girlfriend had my house keys and wallet so even if I could take an UBER I had no way to get in my home! The doctor assured me I would not be stranded and would be staying another night, however, the heartless admin/social worker must have seniority as she told me I couldn't stay. Ultimately I got a ride home, no thanx to Baylor or its staff! Social worker/admin also told me my prescriptions would be covered for 2 weeks! 1st off, good luck finding the Baylor grapevine Hospital pharmacy!!! No maps, no directions, nobody to direct you! Called for directions and was told near the gift-shop and immediately hung up on! Was NOT given a 2 week supply of each of "8" different new meds! As for my time there , I was NEVER given my current prescriptions! I was repeatedly asked and answered what I had been taking but was never once prescribed during the 3 days admitted to BSW-Grapevine, TX! So I was off my prescribed med. Routine thanx to these people! NO HARM THERE, RIGHT??? Oh, as for my new diagnosis you might wonder?! Congestive Heart Failure, Type 2 diabetes, etc. Etc. Etc. Life expectancy~~NOT VERY LONG! And I had to get a 2nd opinion and do my own research to find that out! THANX Baylor Grapevine! It shouldn't be an Easter egg hunt to find that critically important information out, but then neither should it be for finding your pharmacy, or when you are to be discharged, or as in my case, shoved out the door, still coughing, still wheezing, still weak, without any answers! BURN IN HELL BAYLOR ~ GRAPEVINE!!!

Language -> If you speak little or no English, please don't put off doing your procedure(s). Before my husband ( who speaks /understands little english), the hospital use to call by phone for a Translator each time he was in a different room. And could have a different Translator each time too. Now Baylor has this Mobile little plastic phone on a like a mini robot. The nice thing is, the Translator was able to be mobile to go room to room including prep, surgical, and recovery room. I didn't have to worry about him. I didn't see him till he was dressed and ready to go home.

My otherwise healthy mother was admitted after a fainting spell with low oxygen. After a few days the phlebotomist attempted to do a final blood draw to measure her oxygen levels to confirm she was ready for discharge. The phlebotomist appeared inexperienced and nervous. She missed my mothers prominent veins (she was slender) 3 times before a botched 4th attempt resulting in her entire forearm and hand filling with blood like a balloon. I have pictures, it was horrific. They treated it with antibiotics as though an infection knowing it wasn’t. She was then vulnerable and caught methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) which was made worse by the wrong antibiotics but they continued. Days later she passed away from the MRSA.

If you’re young, high risk of cancer, and diverse, this is more than likely not the place for you. Terrible experience all round with the exception of one helpful receptionist who happened to be diverse (not sure if that’s a coincidence but the other one was rude). Nurse doing the scan was rather foul. Wait time in total about 75mins and I’d taken time out of my workday. There was also confusion about my insurance yet I use it everywhere else with no issues and with accurate estimations in advance. If you’re lucky maybe a staff change nurse -wise at minimum. Will not be back. Go somewhere else if you’re below the recommended age but high risk and with previous medical findings confirming you have current medical issues.

My father ended up getting sent to this hospital after a car accident. ER doctor/staff was horrible as they insinuated my father was faking he couldn't move after images were done. Since he couldn't move he was sent to ICU for observation and had more and more images done. With each image, we kept getting told he was fine and they couldn't understand his paralasis. Days go by and he slowly starts getting movement back. Only 1 person a nurse, who my parents are forever thankful for at that tried to explain his images. Like the fact he had herniated discs in several locations. After a few more days he was sent to trauma department. Again images are still being ordered MRIs , CT scans, you name it. Everyone said he was fine. Once in trauma he started PT, which started helping. After 10 days in hospital he was discharged and told to keep PT going. We ended up finding a spine & Joint dr who read his images and told him he had severe herniated discs, would need surgery for a rotator cuff tear in shoulder and countless other problems. He even started seeing a chiropractor who agreed with the Spine & Joint dr. He is still having more in depth images done but wow hospital doctors in all 3 departments not once mentioned any of this. Most of the ICU and trauma department nurses/staff was pretty nice.. But just don't understand why not one doctor cared to mention the problems in the images when 2 other professionals quickly read the records and let us know the problems.

Most of the nurses at BSW are stone cold sociopaths that will most definitely endanger your life and get away with it. A long time employee shared some frightening accounts. I couldn't leave fast enough. This is no longer the hospital it was decades ago.

This ER staff has been amazing. I really don’t know what to say, but I’m in Dallas all alone and they really made me feel so comfortable before and after my emergency surgery. They are so caring and compassionate. I haven’t run into a single nurse, surgeon, doctor, nor staff member that wasn’t caring to me.

Went to the Er at 2am today and from the onset of getting there Whitney was cheerful and friendly and really helped with getting my paperwork with the updated. Katherine (I believe that is her name. She is the British nurse) was helpful and sympathetic to the pain I was going through and did not make me feel bad for being anxious. Dr. Tucker was quick and efficient and did extra due diligence to see if ear ache drops still existed (which they didn't) and quickly figured another pain management plan. Overall, despite being in pain (and still somewhat, as is the way of ear infections), I can appreciate how friendly and efficient they were. The service had been excellent!

Each and every employee here is an angel. They are so caring, respectful and listen to the needs of the patients and their family. I have never been this impressed with a hospital. I would never go anywhere else ever again, but to Baylor Grapevine. Dr. Zuberi, Dr. Lalani, Nurse Hunter, Nurse Barbara and all the other staff members, techs, The GI specialist, and her nurses in the recovery ...thank you for being so kind to my dad.

IINFECTION CONTROL MAJOR ISSUE. Floors were disgusting dirty, Doctor and staff Not Once washed their hands. Dr. picked up and instrument from the dirty floor and then proceeded to touch around the area that She just stitched up. Dr didn't even attempt to wash hands or use Purell or change her gloves from the dirty floor. Hope he doesn't get an infection. If he does I have pictures and will be seeking legal advise. What happened with INFECTION CONTROL ???

My 90 year old mother was in the Emergency Room last week and was seem almost immediately. Mikell and Kristen, two ER nurses cared for her above and beyond normal. They made her feel very comfortable given the pain she was feeling. And once my mom was admitted upstairs, Erika continued the outstanding care and support that she needed and wanted. This hospital provided my mother exceptional service from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The only bad note was one meal that arrived late and cold. But this hospital is tops in providing excellent patient care- which is the most important thing..right?

Fiancé has been there for 2 nights now. Day staff is very helpful and nice and attentive. The night staff is a useless mess. They should be embarrassed and ashamed. Ignoring patients for hrs even when they've been paged and just making excuse after excuse.

Thanks to all the staff. Y’all were professional, kind, patient and smart. I hate that I am so bad at remembering names. My last day there were two nurses in particular that helped get me discharged. One walked me to the parking garage. You two are angels. Thanks again.

I was at the hospital for scheduled surgery I had to arrive through ER due to it being early in the morning, Since I walked in all the nurses and aids helped me and made me feel comfortable, I wasn’t a difficult patient either, I informed them I didn’t want pain meds due to I don’t like the feeling and it don’t really take the pain away anyway just makes you sleep, once I told them this they respected my choice and didn’t ask me if I wanted pain meds but Nurse Gloria was my discharge nurse she made sure I knew what was next and wanted to make sure I understood everything she actually sat in the room and went through all my discharge papers and explained it to me one page at a time and wanted to make sure I had my follow up appointments with Dr. Matin which I did because his team is amazing and has me scheduled for a whole year to follow me and make sure I succeed!! Thanks Baylor you’s have some great staff!!

Went in for a surgery to brace a complicated arm break. Facilities were nice and at first they seemed okay. However, after being admitted, we were met with: 1. an un-empathetic nurse who said “my job isn’t to make you feel no pain” and “you have 3 other good body parts, use em’.” She also was rude in general to my mother and I and never acted upon the information that I was giving her when it came to my pain level (which was excruciating under her care). 2.A lack of care when it came to finding a pain control regimen. Mother and I had to keep calling higher-ups because the nurses only gave me pain meds whenever I was writhing in pain and never tried to beat the pain curve by giving the medicine in anticipation of the pain. The only time I wasn’t in pain was the 24 hours before my release 3. Next to no communication between nurses and doctors/surgeons. I didn’t know what time my surgery was going to happen until 30 MINUTES before the operation when the nurse came in to prep me for it. The doctor was unreachable except when he visited the room twice, and we didn’t get the sling we requested at the beginning of our stay until 15 minutes before we left. No one knew when anything was happening until the last minute for the entirety of my stay Only reasons why this is getting a 2* and not a 1* 1. Facilities were nice 2. Some of the nurses were nice 3. Food was good 4. Pre- and post-op team were fun and great to be around 5. Doctor was nice… when I saw him

I delivered all three of my children at Baylor Scott and White, Grapevine and couldn’t have had a better experience each time! My youngest had to spend a little time in the NICU due to low blood sugars, and although it wasn’t at all what I had hoped for I knew I could trust the pediatrician (Dr. Nasr) and nurses there! (Nurse Maria- she took care of my baby, and me…even though she wasn’t the nurse assigned to my daughter! Nurse Maria- She provided comfort and encouragement to me while working tirelessly to prepare my little one for an early discharge) I sat by watching as everyone worked together to provide care for the babies and families there. They had it all down to a science! No one needed a thing and I was immediately at peace knowing that she was in the best of hands and that she would be okay! With all three of my deliveries, the postpartum nurses were super! Chris Walker (OR surgical tech for Dr. Flowers) was also great. She took care of me and my kiddos during all three deliveries! I couldn’t recommend this hospital more! My birthing experiences were all super and I have three healthy kiddos!

I was brought here by paramedics from the airport last night due to severe dehydration from Norovirus acquired in Cozumel. First I was put in a hallway (and thought of just being ignored, I worked in a hospital for 20 yrs so I’ve seen it all) but I was completely wrong. After few minutes, nurses came and took my vital signs, give me blanket and offered my husband a chair. 10 mins later, NP Peter came and did his assessment and explained what needs to be done, transferred to a room finally. In a world of nursing shortage nationwide, all of the staff, NP Peter and the charge nurses last night and everyone went above and beyond to help me get better so I could continue my trip home. They are all exceptionally kind and caring. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you so much! Jessie

Went in for a stent last Monday. After heart catheter found 3 artery’s blocked at 100 percent and 1 at 90 percent. Transferred by ambulance to Denton heart hospital where the amazing Dr Tran and his team did 4 bypasses. The level of care in recovery was the very best possible. So the operation was done on 6-20-23 and I got to go home on 6-24. Today is 6/26 where my wife and I were able to walk a quarter mile outside in the 90 degree heat. Will always be profoundly grateful to Dr Tran and his highly trained compassionate nursing staff that made this surgery and recovery a complete success at Baylor Scott White Heart hospital in Denton Texas.

Today I had to go in for epigastric pain. The entire staff was very professional, kind, knowledgeable and skilled. My family and I would like to thank the ER team members Lisa, Rayna, Adrianna, and Dr. Williams for their excellent care! Keep up the good work.

I had to have surgery here and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. The nurses were incredible, the doctors were professional and competent, and the facility was clean. The anxiety I had going in was put to rest and I would not hesitate to go back to BSW Grapevine if I ever need to again.

We had to go to the emergency as my wife had severe chest pain, fearing a heart attack! In less than 10 mns an ECG has been done. Doctor and nurses did required tests and analysis in less than 2 hours, being careful. Great job and thanks to their team
