We found this place while browsing Google Maps. I can’t believe I have heard about it from word of mouth! It’s fantastic. The fifteen minute wait time was accurate, which was nice because it’s hot (you’ll wait outside). The ambiance very much reminds you of a small town Texas cafe. The food portions were very generous. I couldn’t believe the size of the kids pancake (photo of my 3yo with it for reference). The prices are great for the amount of food that comes out. Neither I nor my husband could finish it all. This is going to be our new place to bring out of town friends and family for the old timely Texas feel.

Let me start with service: Josie was an absolutely delightful server who was what every restaurant strives for with their customer facing staff. She did an excellent job compared to what you traditionally deal with these days and we really appreciated her attention to detail and friendly demeanor. As far as food goes this restaurant is absolutely a hidden gem. Everything was exceptional and a delicious delight to try and enjoy. I also liked the fact that they had Chocolate Milk which was good. I highly recommend adding this to your trip as a regular or visitor either one. Pro tip: plan to get there at a proper breakfast or brunch time as they close at 2 PM and you don't want to miss this!

I tried 3 different types of fabulous French toast. U just can't go wrong. Kim the waitress was great. Eggs and sausage great as well... pancakes a bit overwhelming on serving, yet disappointing on taste. Doughy consistency... the country atmosphere went hand in hand with having great sweet tea!

Old West lived up to the hype. We stopped in for breakfast and we’re impressed. Their serving sizes are HUGE. I recommend sharing! They made my order custom to order and I enjoyed every bite. Great service, FAST food delivery, and good food. And, fun quotes to keep me entertained!! No complaints!

Old west is a classic southern cooking breakfast experience. They service is quick, staff is kind and the menu has something for everyone. I’d recommend the gunslinger (pictured here) to get a little taste of everything, make sure to come hungry!

You may come here for the Western ambience, but you’re really dig the food choices and the fantastic service. Her server was super nice very efficient and just made you feel really at home. Like I said the setting is oh West miscellaneous with lights to read on the walls🤠🤓😎 A reasonable reasonably priced with a great selection of classic

Easily one of the best breakfast places I've been to. If you've never been, you need to go. Higher end of $XX.XX for a family of 5, worth every penny. If you're really hungry and want a variety, get the Wrangler.

A great local spot! We were staying at a resort nearby and decided to try a local breakfast diner instead of the overpriced resort food. So glad we did! I got "The Rustler" that comes with 2 giant pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon, and a choice of side! That's a lot of food for $16. You can get similar meals for $12 that come with 1 pancake. Parking is tight on the street side but there is plenty in back.

This place was highly recommended to my daughter and I. The place is super cute and very Texan, the parking is pretty rough and in the back. The staff was sweet at entrance! The food though, instantly made me and my daughter sick after biting into the sausage patties. Mentioned to the staff and all the offered was to bring the check and a box. So I brought the food home after my daughter got sick in the restaurant and my husbamd even said the sausage wasnt good and suggested us not to eat anymore. 10000% knocking this off my list of places I want to go back to. 2 out of 10, 2 for ok staff and the cute interior. Waste of money. Picture of said food before eating.

No one felt like cooking this morning, but we all agreed that we wanted something different. My daughter found Oldwest Cafe, so off we went. All I have to say is, if you do not find something that appeals to you on this menu, then you are the pickiest eater I have never met. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the tables and chairs were clean. We had a lovely time and will definitely go back.

Country fried steak, breakfast tacos, chocolate milk was like a milkshake! Huge portions, fast service, food was delivered very quick. Fresh fruit. Eggs and home fries were delicious. No wait on a Tuesday.

We arrived for breakfast at 11 am. Our waiter Josh was great. The selection of food is amazing. The portions are pretty generous. We had the French toast and the peach cobbler pancakes. They were amazing. The area is a little small and the place is very classic looking. The parking is better behind the restaurant. The area is nice and easy to find.

We have not been here in quite a while, but the food was amazing as always! We were seated in a booth around a corner, so it was not as loud. My only complaint is hot tea is $4.29! This is for a mug of hot water and one Lipton tea bag. There are no other tea options like Tazo. You can buy a box of 100 Lipton tea bags for that price at the grocery store. Am I being petty, probably. I was just really shocked.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend this spot! Really really good. I got “The Wrangler”. If you are near this place, check it out!

Good food and got chocolate. Had the Wrangler, which is a lot for the price and worth it. It was very cold in there for me anyway. It made my food and especially my hot chocolate cool off quickly. Overall good meal.

Great place for breakfast they also have lunch, however we had breakfast. The choices are fenomenal, they range from old fashioned cowboy and days gone by to modern hipster French toast offerings. I went with "Migas", the presentation was pleasant and eye cathing the flavor was fair, I would have gone with slightly less chorizo and little more tortilla strips. The chorizo over powered the rest of the ingredients. My honey had the "Cheyenne Cinnamon Roll French toast". Again the presentation was spot on but it fell short on flavor it was over cooked and lacked the soft spongy texture. The service was acceptable and professional but lacked a warmth and friendly feel.

Nestled the city of Grapevine, the Oldwest Café is a charming breakfast spot that promises a delightful dining experience. The café boasts Texas charm, decor and comfortable seating, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for patrons. Oldwest Café offers a breakfast menu that caters to a variety of tastes. Great favorites with classic on the range names, there's something to satisfy every taste. Whether you're in the mood for fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets, or a simple yet satisfying avocado toast, they have you covered. Service at Oldwest Café is friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The staff's attention to detail and genuine hospitality add an extra layer of warmth to the overall atmosphere. You'll feel right at home as you sip your morning coffee or enjoy your meal. The only slight downside is that the café can get quite busy, especially during peak hours. This popularity sometimes results in longer wait times. However, the overall experience, with its scrumptious food, makes it worth the wait. iSo, when you're looking for a breakfast spot, pay a visit to Oldwest Café and start your day off right with a memorable breakfast experience. Remember, if it’s great, we be at it!

Great place to visit. Have a very welcoming homey feel. Very rustic and interesting to look around in. Food was very good. Although a bit pricey, proportions were very satisfying. No body left hungry. We each got something different from the breakfast category and loved it all.

Sure this place is cute but everything went downhill since my last visit. Coffee was like mud even after 6 creamers and sugar.. I couldn't even eat my breakfast. Overcook muffins that were hard as pucks, bacon that seemed day old and hashbrowns casserole that was not desirable at all. No one asked and no one cared... These are $12 breakfasts pictures below.. If your hungry go someplace else. Also, I was told I couldn't see my bill until after I paid at the table... What?? Who does that?
