My husband and I stopped in for lunch. Our server Tim was excellent. We were also pleased that it wasn’t loud. We were able to relax and enjoy our meal and conversation. Before our meal arrived we were served warm sourdough bread that was baked to perfection. My husband had the pork chop with steak fries and I had the French onion soup and salad with sweet potato fries. Everything was prepared exactly as it should be. Both servings of fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. The salad is offered with free refills. The French onion soup was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service and atmosphere is great!

Went to Mac’s last Saturday night and had the best meal! My mom loves their New England-style Clam Chowder (it’s only offered Friday thru Sunday) and it was so good! We shared the Scallops, which I do have to say was an interesting concept… it was a scallop on top of avocado-corn relish (sort of like guacamole) on a blue corn tortilla chip. They were alright. The Crawfish Étouffée was amazing tho! I couldn’t get enough. The portion size was huge, even for the small size. To finish off the meal, we shared an Apple Galette with Cinnamon ice cream. I loved it. I would also like to mention that derived was great, the waiter did a wonderful job.

Really well done Cajun fish. The Étouffée tastes great with a nice spicy kick at the end. The food is well seasoned. The staff know the menu well and can make great recommendations. Fish of the day is pictured.

I've been to Mac's many times - this specific visit was a brunch session with family. Mac's is always consistent with great service. I do wish their menu had more variety and had a few fresher/greener elements throughout, but definitely a solid experience each time.

This is not my first time eating here, but the fish I ordered this time was unexpectedly delicious. The steak is nothing special, but also good

This was in November and was a last minute booking on a Saturday. We were seated at the back which is the quieter part of the restaurant. Server was attentive but not intrusive. And out drinks were regularly topped up without asking. So service was top notch for us. Bread (sourdough) was complementary and fresh. It was a good start. We went with the recommendation for the starter of crab cakes. The breading on the crab cake was really lightly breaded and crab filling was fresh. Crab cakes in other restaurants can be mixed especially if they are not using fresh crab and you can taste the 'fishiness.' Macs' version is fresh so it is a wonderful starter. Our mains were the pork chops with mash (though we added vegetables) and the special of Grouper (you had a choice of blackened or grilled) with Crawfish Etouffee over rice. The meats were cooked perfectly. The pork chops were tender and seasoned well. The steamed vegetables still had a bite and not overcooked which is the way we liked it. And the mash was creamy. The presentation on the grouper has much to be desired but was tasty. I wasn't too keen on their rice (the server said it was Jasmine but I don't believe this was the case or they didn't cook it well). It was the first time I had etouffee and unfortunately it is not my cup of tea. Overall we liked our experience in the restaurant. They also have a pop up menu from time to time (called The Hidden). And they participated in this year's restaurant week (we had the lamb chops and they were excellent).

Drinks were especially delicious. Food was good as well. We had a large party and although the place was busy, they were able to put together patio seating for us last minute which worked out perfectly. Great service! And they let us enjoy dessert at the end without rushing us.

Food was good, above average. Service was good; however, my husband and I were still finishing up with our food and drink around 9:30 pm when the staff started cleaning and sweeping around our table: almost under our feet. (Friday night) We arrived around 8:00 or 8:10 pm so we did not stay an extra long time and there were about 3 other couples at other tables throughout the restaurant. Over all the experience was great until the last 20 minutes when it was clear that the staff wanted everyone to leave.

We came for Grapevines restaurant week (month) and ordered the Fillet Oscar and Sea Bass, both were cooked to perfection!! Key lime pie and apple pie pastry for dessert also knocked it out of the park!! Will be back!

Uniquely delicious. Came for my birthday and splurged on the Eggs Wall Street. The mix of fillet mignon with a poached egg on an English muffin seemed odd, but was absolutely came together for a delicious meal.

The highlight was the Goat Cheese Quesadilla appetizer. Simply delicious! The orange roughy was definitely well seasoned, but felt like it was missing something (perhaps a starch to compliment the veggies and fish). The wagyu steak burger was also delicious, meaty and hearty. Our waiter was the lowlight of the visit. It was our anniversary dinner, and while we didn't expect the red carpet to be rolled out, we had hoped he would say more than 5 words to us. No introduction, no pleasantries, just "what to drink?" Having worked in customer service, I always try to empathize with how much work these folks have on their plate, but this gentleman definitely was checked out and just going through the motions. It was too bad, as the hostess who welcomed and sat us was wonderful. We wish she could be our waitress too! With all of the competition around this area, this probably wouldn't be the place we would go to again for an anniversary dinner.

Everything was delicious! The portions were very good. And the service was excellent! The quality of the food and ingredients were top-notch. These people know what they're doing and it was very clear they do it well with consistency. Unique flavors that WOW you with the first bite to finish. We will definitely be back.

I am never disappointed when I eat here. It’s consistently fabulous. Prime rib (cooked medium and seared on grill) or tonight snapper blackened on ettoufe with Mandu (Korean dumplings) as an appetizer tonight or the Chairman’s reserve Ribeye with a loaded baked potato

We ate here for lunch on a weekday. I had the French dip sandwich costing $11.95 and it was fabulous. The sandwich came with fries and au jus. The servers were attentive and the restaurant was clean. My only complaint is the parking. It is behind the restaurant or if you are brave with heavy traffic there is parallel parking on Main Street. There is rarely an open parking spot at either location and if you are disabled I recommend you get dropped off.

One of our local favorites. Never been disappointed with Macs On Main. Tonight I had the charbroiled pork chops. They were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Exceptional service as usual. Our waitress Heather was on point. Courteous and informative about the menu.

Attentive staff that truly want you to have a great dining experience. The crab cakes are delicious. Weekly fish specials AND typically / steak specialty on the weekends.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere and most importantly cost is very reasonable. We had lunch and everything was perfect. We liked it so much we had dinner here the following night. It's now on our list of regulars.

Located in a prime spot in Grapevine, Mac's on Main is an intimate, upscale, but affordable dining establishment. We went to meet up with some friends for dinner and drinks after touring some of the local breweries. It was a little crowded when we got there, but we were able to sit at the bar. Our waitress/server/bartender was exceptional. She took great care of our group, even though the bar area was also a little slammed at times. The ladies ordered wine and we ordered Old Fashioneds, which were expertly and quickly made. We ordered empanadas, shrimp etoufee, and I had the Steak Frites. Everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned. We ate, had a couple more drinks, and decided to head out, as it was nearing closing time. Even though it was late, we never felt rushed and were treated to an amazing experience. This is a great date/dinner spot. Sophisticated but not pretentious and a great menu. I've heard the brunch is spectacular as well. If you're in Grapevine and looking for food and drinks that won't disappoint, go give Mac's on Main a try
