As a returning customer who in the past has put up with problems without making a comment(for example lack of food such as pizza or long wait times) today I had had enough, my meal started off with rude customer service when trying to order drinks, before getting my carvery where the chef gave me and my group fatty meat instead of replenishing the meat which was suggested by other customers, I tried to send this back and get other food before being turned down by two of the staff and the chef with language I am not willing to repeat, before the manager rightly got involved and set her staff in line. Very upset with my experience, will definitely not be returning.

We have been here a number of times and service has been excellent even when the venue has been busy, this time we arrived when it was quite and were disappointed at the size and quality of the portions were not up to the usual standard, Meat was nicely cooked but vegetables were dry and cold, ice cream was soft like milkshake, staff were disinterested, upsetting as this was a nice family eatery, on an upside there is play area for children and you can eat outside.

Was really busy when we dropped in, still found us a table and had a great meal. Kitchen staff were rushed off their feet but still have time to give you their full attention. Nice place for a nice carvery, definitely recommend.

Came here this evening, so much better coming on a week day evening as hardly anyone was there and ment more carvery for me. We really enjoyed our meals here and thought the members of start especially the lady that showed us to our table and the lady behind the bar that served us were really nice! Food came out really quick, and there was no cue for the Carvery. Really enjoyed the food and was really happy with the price of it too. Going to come here a lot more now. Thank you

I’d say this is a nice place for friends to gather. However, you should probably consider time when going because it can get busy and you won’t get your orders as fast as you want them. The staff don’t have a clue about the arcade game machine so don’t play it because if you win, they can get your money out and you have to use it to play on which isn’t advisable. The beer cost about £3.40 or so. The overall atmosphere is nice. Spacious place and friendly environment.

Have been a few times as my Dad is local. We always go during the week and it’s great. The food is amazing and the best value for money we know of. The staff have always been polite and friendly to us. Had a Christmas meal today, £14 for 3 courses - bargain! We all loved every course. Highly recommend.

Feels like the staff were more interested in their conversation than serving . Waited by the door for seating without a person to be seen to seat me. Then when I finally got someone’s attention , they were not very interested. Went in for my breakfast. Wish I just went to the burger van outside B&Q would have been a better overall experience

Great place, staff friendly, even on a busy Friday evening was seated straight away. Struggled to get up after eating so much great food. Hat off to the chef 👍👍

It's a nice place to eat and the staff are friendly. But - we went there on a Tuesday late afternoon and the carvery offerings looked as though they had been there since they opened - the meat wasn't very inspiring and the vegetables certainly didn't look very fresh - the food was only warm as opposed to hot and left a bit to be desired. We have used their sister company Toby about this time of day and has certainly been better, we'll certainly think seriously about coming here in the future, shame really.

Our visit was fantastic. The food was beautiful. There 6 of us and loved the fact that there was a choice other than just carvery. The carvery was tasty and warm with a large selection. The pizza was cooked to order so was extremely fresh

Nothing was great unfortunately. The restaurant was so cold everyone was sat with hats and coats on. Only peas and carrots in veg options. Beef was tough. No Yorkshire pudding until half way threw dinner. Plates was freezing cold, so with room temp and plate temp food went cold very quickly. Restaurant area was dirty, tables weren't cleaned between customers. In response to your reply their was no cauliflower, no parsnip, and approx a spoonful of sweetcorn that was dry in bottom of bowl. Upon on feeling the radiator that we was sat next to it was freezing cold so would like to dispute that heating was on. Yes i agree there was mash but I would not class that as a vegetable option.

Nice little restaurant. Certainly nothing fancy but the food is reasonably priced and generally cooked well. I've been for their breakfast a few times which is great value for money and very tasty. Today we came for the carvery for the first time. It was absolutely packed! The queue for the carvery moved very quickly though and it was good. Better than the local Toby Carvery. It was £10.49 for an adult plate, or £13.49 for a large one so I think more expensive than Toby's from what I can remember. Not sure what the price is during the week! We all enjoyed it though and I'd definitely go back again.

Very reasonably priced buffet breakfast. Food was replenished regularly so was always fresh and hot. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because the sausage was a little underdone in my opinion. Our waitress Paige was very attentive

Had a Carvery and the kids had pizzas. We went on a weekday when it wasn't too busy. The quality of food was amazing. My favourite Carvery. The staff were friendly and helpful to. Good value for money

Went today for lunch with family. A lovely lady called Cerys served us. She was helpful, friendly and took pride in her job. A great ambassador for the business. Our visit was that much more enjoyable because of her. The food was delicious, we didn't feel rushed and the place itself is beautiful. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

Food was really nice, especially for the cheap prices you’re paying. Only one fault; that they brought out my friends burger with the starters when he asked for it to come out separately, so when I sent it back they sent out the same burger 20 minutes later (which had obviously been sitting under the heat lamp as the plate was hot). Service was a little meh but we’ll allow that as there was only two members of staff. Would recommend though. Good atmosphere, with nice soothing music.

Sadly gone downhill. Used to use this place regularly for the carvery. But recently it’s just gone to pot. The care just seems to have gone out of the cooking - although the meat is cooked to perfection the veg leaves a lot to be desired. We stood at the serving station for 15 minutes before anyone served us, every roast potato on offer was black and burnt. When I asked the server if new ones were available that weren’t burnt he said “these were to be used first”. The baked beans were solidified to the pot, the sprouts so over cooked they were mush the cauliflower cheese was just mush with white sauce and it was all just bland. After we left two of our guests said their soup for starters was stone cold, my mushrooms were horrible. The custard on the puddings was cold and to be honest you couldn’t speak to anyone as they were so rushed off their feet. The staff are usually lovely but when I ordered drinks the lady took my order at the bar then went off and cleared tables leaving me just standing there. So I waited my turn again to be served. I feel really sad writing this review as I’ve used this place for years but sadly this was the last time. I feel they have bitten off more than they can chew.

Your staff are superb. However, it would appear that the restaurant was understaffed and at times, needed additional help. The team is a credit to you. Never flustered, super friendly and warm. I thought that the food was good. We did opt for a time (19.30) where we were hoping for minimal kiddie noise, however, and not a fault of the restaurant; children were running riot and therefore, I wouldn't recommend if you want a quiet evening.

Amazing atmosphere and helpful staff! Lily, Leanne and Maddie went above and beyond to give us a great experience! Carvery was fresh and delicious, Plenty of selection across the deck. Thank you so much! Will definitely be visiting again! ☺️

Breakfast buffet very good, plenty to choose from and tasty and well cooked. The buffet staff went out of their way to make sure we all got what we wanted - even made a fresh waffle for our 5 year old with lashings of chocolate sauce! Only little points to make is that there was no antibac in the dispenser and the seats were a bit tired and had holes in. We'll definitely go back.

Great food and service as usual. Loved the changes to the menu: we had the 2 California reaper wings in with the normal ones. What a genius dish. Staff at the Copperfield were fab as usual, attentive and friendly. We left with a smile on our faces and in our tums.

First visit here today and unfortunately the last. Ordering from outside using the QR code was a bit of a pain and eventually went inside to get some help from one of the staff who managed to help. Loaded nacho’s were a good starter and my son followed that up with the turkey/stuffing wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife had scampi and fries with garden peas but had to ask for the peas as they were missing when the food arrived but enjoyed her meal as well (we all agreed the fries were really good). I had a quarter pound bacon burger with fries but didn’t finish it and left hungry. The inside of the bun wasn’t toasted so the bbq and mayo sauce either side made the bun soggy, the burgers were only just about cooked with no colour to them on the outside and very soft to bite into and the bacon looked like it hadn’t touched the grill. First bite and it all fell apart, very disappointing “sorry” but if you can’t cook a burger and a bit of bacon you need to be re-trained. Put the brolly up and it was broken and rubbish under most of the tables. Wouldn’t have left the £5 tip (that you have to pay in advance on the app).

We have had a few nice roast dinners at this restaurant, however last time the Chef didn’t know how to carve the meat properly. Which let the meal down alot. Always friendly service here. I’ve cream factory needs cleaning and refilling though. The ‘pick n mix wall’ is laughable to be honest and no ice cream sauces available until we asked.

Went here for a birthday dinner. I don’t like to give low ratings but the food really wasn’t very nice. This is no reflection on the staff. They were very pleasant and helpful and were working extremely hard. I do realise that this is a reasonably price pub grub but it could be cooked a little better. Apart from the food the place was clean and tidy and would probably go there for a drink.

Went for lunch today 2 of us had carvery well if you like meat with your dinner I wouldn't go here you get 2 bits that's are so thin you can see through it, plenty of veg to choose from but even when going large the meat was still something to be desired.
