Read reviews about this local spot and it’s really true about what people states. It can be deceiving from the outside but the food are amazingly good and cheap eats. Seems like all the locals come here to eat and order to go . They have tons of bench tables outside for dining in . We had the chicken curry along with the beef curry . We requested for the bottle of hot sauce it’s a must and tasted so good with the sauce . Both chicken and beef was so delicious . We will come back for it again since it’s a quick bite and don’t need to spend money if you are on a budget.

This was my first stop in after landing in Antigua. Waited 20mins for buss up shot, I was very disappointed. The curry was not burnt, you can taste the grains of curry that wasn’t cooked well. And the skin was very thick. All in all I do not recommend eating here but the service was nice from the ladies. Get drinks not food

When you are on a Caribbean cruise and disembark for an island stop, it is so refreshing to try something cultural to the location. Here in St. John’s Antigua, is the best chicken roti ever! For only $10 US, you get a quality roti that is substantive enough for any appetite. All the locals come here! When you cut into the roti, it bursts fourth with delicious chicken gravy, literally an Antigua demi-glace. Unlike roti rip offs back home, Roti Kings are stuffed 85%chicken, 15% potato. And how nice it is to find some spicy kick when you step off the homogenized non-threatening flavours of a cruise ship that has to cater to passengers who find Chipotle, daring. Roti King is only three blocks from where the cruise ships dock. It’s an excursion well worth the value.

A short walk from the cruise terminal, we enjoyed local island food! We really enjoyed the Trinidad inspired menu with curry chicken shrimp and plantains. The menu prices are in local currency each plate was roughly $25 local currency which was about$10 (USD). The plantains were roughly$2.00 (USD). Better than burgers and fries found everywhere else! Cash only.

Ok first time here. Service was ok lady wasn’t to friendly I think owner. That’s beside the point I ordered a shrimp roti. It could have been alot better in my opinion. Roti look like It was cooked hours before very stiff as in pic I know stale roti when I see it. Shrimp very small it’s looks bigger in pic

So granted the people weren't in the best of moods, they still had the best roti I ever tasted. It was definitely a Trini roti made in Antigua. The Tamarind juice was both sweet and strong making it very tasty!

This spot has been a local favorite in Antigua for an extended period and is a must-visit, whether you're staying briefly or longer. Enjoy delicious food and refreshing local fruit drinks, with the option for both takeout and dining in – they even provide outdoor seating for city-goers. The service is consistently excellent, and while Roti is a standout, there's a diverse menu to explore.

Very local and friendly eating place. Local rotis and doubles main issue. Very popular. Only a few choices of roti left when we visited around 5pm. Chicken roti was very good. Reasonsble prices compared to the cruisepassenger prices operated closer to the quays. 6ecd for a beer is half price from next block. A must to visit place to have a wealthy meal to local prices.

We landed yesterday and went straight there because we were hungry and it was on our way to our Airbnb. Food and service was so good we decided to have dinner again. My hubby had the fish burger with a doubles that was delicious!! And I had the chicken roti which was amazing. You would not be disappointed

I read fabulous reviews about Roti and they did not disappoint! You know it’s good when it’s packed with locals. The staff were all very friendly and seemed like they were having a good time. We ordered a chicken and veggie roti, SO delicious! We may possibly return before our trip is over. I would highly recommend

Phenomenal, small local place, when you go where the locals go, you can't go wrong. Had the beef roti, it was delicious

Fantastic value rotis (there is no way I could have eaten a whole one, my wife & I shared, they volunteered to split between 2 plates), for 25ec you will get a good plateful for 2. A few tables outside choice of sun or shade. Freindly staff, recommended for traditional cheap food

Outstanding food, incredibly tasty and quick. Reasonably priced. This was the best meal I had on the entire island. Forget rip off places that cater to tourists - this place is fantastic. The channa and potato roti was delicious and the fish roti was even better.

The best Roti I’ve had in a long time. I recommend you stop here and grab anything off the menu, especially the Roti. I ate the chicken and the beef Roti with the tamarind sauce. Trinidadians run the kitchen, and that’s a plus! Big up to the Trini Roti!!!!

I've been missing home so much and this roti is the closest to Trinidad tasting roti by far (the other wrap rotis we had was not dhalpourie so I was really happy they had)🇹🇹❤🤤#triniapproved ps. They also have doubles

My review is mixed because my husband loved this place and I hated it. He got the beef roti and I got the chicken roti. The chicken was a little spicy and I didn't like the flavor. The beef tasted a little better but I still didn't like it. I like the concept of a roti but was not thrilled with the flavor of the filling. I think if this is your thing, you will love this place. The staff is very nice and service is quick. The price is also very reasonable.

This was my second time at Roti King and the curried conch roti was as good as I remembered. The curry conch was soft and tender and the texture was similar to that of abalone. The curry was just spicy enough and not too salty. There was a decent amount of conch and the roti was perfect for mopping up any leftover curry. It may seem like you can eat and walk with this thing at first but just get a seat at one of the indoor or outdoor tables. If not, it's gonna be a mess. I will be back the next time I am in Antigua.

Check the vibes the Roti King brings. He like David with a sling. Slingin’ flavor like a king. I’d eat this 5 or 6 times a week. Eat it even when I sleep. Taste is top flight, big league. Love from Chicago, Roti King!
