    I have been a dedicated member of this gym for 16 years, and what I've witnessed recently is nothing short of betrayal to loyal members and extreme greed as Life Time has been engaging in non-stop price gouging. My membership dues have increased from $89 in 2019 to $149 in 2023, over 67% in less than 4 years. 2.5 of those 4 years were during the pandemic. Time and time again, Life Time chooses to take advantage of its long-standing members, displaying a complete lack of loyalty and integrity and increasing dues using meaningless buzzwords like “refreshed spaces and enhanced programming” as an excuse to maximize their margins. Moreover, they frame their messaging of due increases to loyal members as a display of “appreciation” because it’s $40 below the rate of new members. Ridiculous. This kind of greed is simply unacceptable and anyone considering this gym should think twice before becoming a member.

    I was a happy customer for about ten years, and always paid my dues on time. When I moved out of the area and cancelled my membership, they continued to bill me, and they have ignored my email messages to rectify it. Even after disputing the June 2023 charge and having my credit card company rule in my favor, they continue to bill me and harass me with automated email messages and phone calls. So sad that a company that I felt really cared about my satisfaction and welfare for so many years degenerates to this hostile and abusive behavior.

    Been a member for over 4 years and this place is clearly slip sliding downhill. Pool heater broken and kids have to shiver in swim class. Instructor turnover, poor cleaning, climbing wall has been needing new grips and attention over the last 4 years and nothing has been done. The list goes on. Really disappointing for what they charge their members. Additionally good luck getting a hold of a staff member via phone! No one ever answers the telephone. 📞

    I went as a guest. My only gripe (and it's not specific to this gym) is that basketball courts should only be used for basketball. Very frustrating to go to shoot baskets and there is some class going on! Otherwise, this gym is as good as it gets. Clean, spacious, modern equipment, places to eat and the spa area was top notice. Good amenities in the locker room as well.

    For a gym that ur paying $180 for a month, you won’t think they are that cheap. They have a flyer at the café that they’re gonna start charging for a cup of water with ice $.50. You get free, ice and water at McDonald’s.

    Beautiful, spacious clean exercise spot. Well done with 2 indoor and huge outdoor heated pools. Friendly action on the pickleball courts. Expansive changing rooms. Healthy offerings in cafe. Super nice all around.

    this particular facility in Reston is very well built - I'm writing this bad review to flag one issue - I've been to a few different LifeTime facilities all over the country and I think the staff at the Reston branch are the most unprofessional and ill-mannered. Reston is a great place to live in, so the terrible behavior is not because of lack of access to decent people - it's most likely due to toxic management at the club. I hope someone from LifeTime's national office can conduct a thorough investigation and replace the current staff (esp the miserable people at the front desk) - I def don't want to be contacted by the local manager to talk about my experience

    I’m really surprised by the negative reviews for the gym implementing their policies or because of a single phone call when someone wasn’t able to answer questions. Lifetime is freaking awesome. Amazing facilities, Brandon at the front desk is awesome, it’s open super late and super early, and the pool is like a resort.

    Stuff took my lululemon sneakers , workout tops and bras worth of about $400 . My husband’s swim glasses were took twice front he locker as well. I was in the gym on Jan 18th, when I came back on 21st, everything in my locker was gone. I informed the girl working in the locker room and she had gave me back my shampoos some clothes swimsuit. She also said “ we did not mean to take things just some people leave their things there for months. “ Later I realized my sneakers and bras were gone , I went to front desk ask the stuff for help. One of the lady said they clean out the locker’s regularly and they goes to “lost and found “, of no one pick them up for 10 days , they will throw them away. I asked twice of the difference stuff to help me look through the lost and found for my items . Unfortunately they were not to be found . one young men at the front desk told me by the entrance of the locker room stated that “ no over night locker “ , but nothing like that is written there or the guest policy. The stuff claim that they will throw away the items that are not claimed in the “ lost and found “ after they were not picked up in 10 days . But it just been 3 days since I left them in the locker. It is quite clear that within these 3 days some clothes were took by certain stuff who has the locker keys and they are doing things like this on a regular basis . The gym cost my whole family $259 / month. Considering such a high price such a high end gym compare to other gyms in the market , the stuff should be professional and honest. This is very frustrating and disappointing. I would urge the management team notice THEFT behavior like this and put clear guidelines on the locker policies.

    This gym experience is by far the best experience I’ve had at any gym facility. With my background in training, and even upon visiting many other gym facilities I can’t put into words the level of benevolence and professionalism this gym staff provides. As I worked out I witnessed the GM of the facility (KJ) showing humility and great character by maintaining cleanliness in the weight area. I am a true believer that a great community begins with outstanding leadership, and observing that alone set him apart from any other individual whom I’ve experienced in any leadership position. I was greeted and tended to by the front desk and the training staff with great respect and uplifting treatment. I would give nothing less than 5* to this staff and facility. Though I live 40 min away, I take pride in saying that I will be attending this gym as my primary facility; and any fellow member, as well as new members would be blessed to call this their home gym. I am truly appreciative of everyone that works here and will only recommend this (Reston Lifetime) gym as the gym to join. Worth every penny spent, and I assure a truly exceptional experience for anyone that understands what gym etiquette and professionalism truly is.
