Only been here for breakfast and food is average at best. You get what you pay for really. Generous serving sizes but nothing is really fresh or delicious. It’s not terrible, but not great either. The main reason we go is the kids play area, which is fab and the lovely outdoor seating around it. Big plus for a family!

We had dinner for the first time couple of weeks ago. We were a group of about 20. The food is below average and expensive. We were served cold nachos, the veggie burger was tasteless and expensive and you have to pay extra for chips. First and last time for us, unfortunately. It' s not good value for money and in today's climate we choose to give our money to places were the food is good and the price is right.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with a suburban hotel but was very pleasantly surprised! The deluxe suite was beautiful, expansive and private. The facilities clean and luxurious without excess. Very reasonably priced. I would rate it five starts except for my breakfast order not being received - which may have been from my putting it on my door which was inside the door in the main hallway. A minor thing in an awesome experience.

Didn't stay here but stopped for lunch with a small group. Food was good, service was great and they even had pints for the price of schooners... how bad? Recommended.

Went in for lunch during Psychic Expo. 2 steak sandwiches, club sandwich and kids cheeseburger meal. 4 soft drinks. $103! My God, for a hotel with poker machines , they sure know how to charge! Food was okay, nothing to write home about. Won't be eating there again. Punters paying for all the renovations!

Was average. Room was clean and tidy happy with that. Dinner was lovely. Breakfast was not good. Eggs Benedict with deli ham not good. Please use either bacon or proper ham. And ordered coffee was not a cappuccino, but a milky drink, with a tiny bit of coffee. Not good. Most of the staff were lovely. Check out reception lady wasn't. Didn't ask if we enjoyed our stay etc. Very blunt, unfriendly person. Just a few things spoilt our stay, but would be a great place with a few improvements.

Putt Putt Dave and his golf course are amazing. Our team of 20+ had a ball. Great service and the course was fun and challenging. Highly recommend.

I was quite impressed with these large, modern rooms (or "suites"), they're clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality linens to match, I just wanted to stay in bed all day lol. The staff on reception were friendly and efficient. There is a convenient Liquorshop, bar & restaurant attached to the hotel, even features a mini-golf course!

Went here for a quiz night. It was fun, but we were seated in an unfortunate spot. Had to get up from the table in order to see the TV for questions. The music was vet loud, making it hard to hear the host. The questions are done quickly, easy to get left behind. Was definitely fun though and nice to do something different when in a new town.

I've only been to the pub. Got a putt putt for the kids. Good value lunch roast offering for $10. They do sting you on the drinks tho hence 4 stars. Beer prices are insane. Blame inflation, I call it gouging.

Came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The meals are not badly priced ($20 for a big breakfast) and they're a good portion for those who like to eat. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Will be back!

Absolutely love this place. Our room, clean, spacious, comfortable bed with the best pillows ever!! Everything we needed. Friendly and most helpful staff. There is more to see than the hotel itself - There is a playground and a mini golf that is attached to it. This makes it a Family Friendly place to stay - there are places where adults can sit and have a drink/meal whilst able to see their kids play. The restaurant has great food, good size (for our pacific people 😜) I love the decor. Very safe, ample parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing venue! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alex hill Putt Putt hosted our work function (40 people)! The staff were brilliant, very friendly & attentive. Could not fault the service or experience. Really great putt putt course, we all have a wonderful time. Pizzas were so yummy! It was just perfect 😀

Loved our room. Service was great. All staff were very helpful. Just a couple of things let them down. 1 being Kitchen staff for room service failed several times by forgetting to put things on trays. First breakfast they forgot to cook hubby's breakfast. Dinner trays they forgot to put cutlery, salt and pepper and also a breakfast menu we specifically asked for. Housekeeping need to clean dust more frequently. Shelf in room housing tea cups and coffee mugs was thick in dust. I wrote 'clean me' in dust in hope someone cleans it properly. Bathroom had lots of dust on walls and around toilet area. Photos attached.

Staying for two nights. Rooms are a very good size, clean and quiet. Had a tasty breakfast this morning. Would thoughly recommend this venue. Close to Wellington Point which suited our travel plans. Secure car parking and friendly helpful staff members.

From my two experiences thus far this has been such a lovely venue. Huge playground with lots to do. The mini golf is heaps of fun. A lovely day out for the whole family. The staff have always been polite and friendly.

Service was great. The only problem was the ordering website won't let you remove items after you've added them, I closed the website and came back, but for my convenience, it still contained items I didn't want. While trying to tap at the quantity button I accidentally tapped the pay button, and without asking for confirmation, it just purchased a lot of food I didn't want. So be very careful when using this poorly coded website.

This was my first experience coming into the Alex hills hotel and I can say I was honestly impressed. I work in hospitality & the customer service was excellent tonight, I came in with 3 other girlfriends we sat on table 22. This was a Friday night around 8:30pm. One of my friends meals got the wrong order, & a very nice old lady, came over and quickly apologised to us & said we would change the meal for you, or get a refund. Later the evening another a lady came over to check on us. She was super apologetic & super polite. I was impressed with the dinner service I got tonight, being my first time in there….

Relatively high price point for an pub ordinary menu. Food is generally ordinary to bad, and service is consistently bad. The vision for space but is awesome! Great layout, activities, and style, a lot of potential.

Went there for a friend's 18th birthday, the atmosphere was lovely. The mini golf course was very fun and the staff were kind and relatable. Had a lot of fun when it was later playing pool.

I went to the Alexandra Hills Hotel for a tribute band on Saturday night. I locked my keys in my old van. I was in a whirl but the security team were very professional. They ended up helping me out so I could get back to the event worry free. The show and venue were great. Once people realised they didn't have to sit through the entire show and got up closer to the stage, the ambience of the music venue experienced a big shift in upbeat vibe. That was interesting to observe. I didn't eat there or stay there. I just really enjoyed the special event and the respect the staff had for their patrons.

Great food, fantastic service, and what was the icing on the cake... Sunday afternoon entertainment by 'Sex and Chocolate' what a fantastic afternoon to be had. Great music, charismatic singers with outstanding vocals. Bring them back... they're awesome.

I can't actually rate the hotel for its accommodation. We went to the hotel for lunch and mini golf. It was recommended to us as family friendly and it really was. We had a lovely lunch and the kids played in the playground that we could see from our table and the area was fenced off so kids couldn't run off and had to ask an adult to open and close the gate for them. Mini golf was also a hit with the kids.

We’re do I start I’ll start our order was stuffed up through booking via the app and had to stuff around with several staff to then find out it wasn’t processed. So ordered again told it wasn’t a long wait yet still had to wait a long time and had to ask again to where meals was. Food comes out and not nice as all chips soggy pizza sauce tangy and not nice at all. And buy time food actually arrived half the table were long finished there meals and wasn’t very hungry when food actually came out . a positive putt putt was good and well Priced great environment.

Went to see Havana Browns. Took a long time for her to show up. The warm up DJ was great tho. Nice club rooms. Clean toilet. Lots of disco balls and awesome lights. Drink prices are average. Mixed age groups.

Very large hotel, conference centre, restaurant, bar combination. Always seems to be busy and has something going on all the time. Friendly staff. Very spacious. Nice and clean. Only.had a drink and gamble.

Firstly our table which we reserved had people dining at it because the reservation signage was poor. They then moved us inside which was fine but that's where it went down hill. We waited over an hour for our tables food which came out in dribs and drabs, we had family who finished their meals before others even got theirs. It was a Tuesday night so not very busy at all. Servers did not know what they were bringing out (steak orders) we had 'Well Done' steaks come out medium and vegetables that were rock hard. We sent a meal back, didn't want to wait another hour for it to be fixed so just requested a refund and left. Overall below average experience and won't be back any time soon.

Can't go past the $10.95 roast lunches every day of the week (or $9.95 with a drink purchase)! I used to come here as a kid for those and they're still going (though the price is a bit higher than the $2 I remember my grandma used to pay 🤣). You even get a choice if roast isn't your thing - sometimes they have mini chicken parmigianas, rissoles, crumbed fish.... Depends on the day. It is the Alex Hills pub so I wouldn't come here on a Friday or Saturday night, but otherwise it's quite decent. Plenty of parking too and a nice undercover area outside.

Went to the Alex last night for dinner again. this time Cesar salad with calamari! The calamari was melting in your mouth, the salad had just the right amount of dressing for me, perfect! And the children's "nibble" platter with watermelon, cucumber and carrot sticks, cheese and grilled chicken, a hit every time with the little ones! And did I mention the playground? A great family restaurant with a great chef!

Visited restaurant for a meal. Staff friendly & helpful. Food good. Air-conditioning vents leaking, drips onto tables & patrons! Noisy, nothing to do with bar area.

The rooms in the hotel are quite large. It’s been revamped recently in the last 4 yrs. huge beds that are super comfy, More-so than some of the big name hotels in the CBD. Room service which was pretty good, massive balcony areas but nothing to look at. Great for executive business trips. Dark curtains and quiet as it’s set a fair distance away from the main road in leafy green bush land

Great kids playground by far the best. Just lacking in shade. Breakfast was a bit disappointing the scrambled eggs reminded me of buffet style eggs.

The Alexandra Hills has been one of the most popular places for everyone all over the Redlands Coast and Brisbane. So many memories for everyone and the start of career's such as U2 back in the day. I love this pub it means a lot to me.

My stay here was good. The room good and tidy. Except for the food it was way over priced for what we ordered. Will not be coming back for awhile

I just wanted to mention how amazing our Easter Sunday was at the Alexandra Hills Hotel. Special thanks to the manager Darren for his amazing communication ensuring we got the table we requested. The food was amazing, the atmosphere, we absolutely love the kids park it’s beautiful and the extra details such as jumping castle and face painting, kids activities books on arrival. The staff and hostesses were phenomenal and really attentive. We will be back for the next event. Highly recommend.

We went for breakfast this morning and were really impressed with the venue. There is quite a lot of both indoor and outdoor seating. As it was a bit cool this morning, the staff were happy to light one of the portable heaters 🤗 The food was delicious and well priced. We sat in front of the playground where the kids had a ball 😊 Everything is well maintained and clean. I highly recommend this venue for any time of day. Go for a meal or a drink whilst the kids have a play 🤗

Went here for dinner with my little family last Friday (29/07). Got order prawn dish with rice & veggies. It tasted unique. I was bit doubt as i thought it supposed to be served with jacket potatoes. But the basmati rice as sides is goes well with the main dish & i love it! Service was good & will definitely come back for another occasion 👍

Looks like the locals enjoy it. But not a place ill ever go back to eat at. I won't go into detail but I payed $93 for lunch for my wife and I and most of our food was still on our plates when we left. Burnt, tough and seems like it was cooking the whole 50 mins it took to get to our table. Maybe the chef needs to be re-educated.

After a lot of years driving past The Alex we finally decided to stop in for a meal. We were not disappointed- a little more expensive than we expected, but absolutely worth it. Our meals were fast, hot and full of flavour. We will be back for sure 👍🏼

We pre booked dinner for 3 of us to catch up last Thursday evening at 6pm. The place wasn't really busy as yet so we were escorted to our table quickly. We ordered food and went to the Bar for a few drinks. Dinner arrived quite quickly, all meals were very good and well priced. Specials are on the menu for most nights which is good. Well worth a visit

Food (roast pork & veggies) was great. Staff attentive & friendly. Only thing was background music was a bit loud (just a personal preference). Will definitely go back 👍🏻👌🏻😃

We came for dinner and Piper, whilst not our server, was so incredibly helpful and an absolute asset to this bistro. 10/10 Would recommend! The sizes of the meals were value for money and really large!

I went here today for a family member’s birthday. The place had a great atmosphere and the staff members were incredibly nice. The only negative thing I can say is about the food. I ordered a plate of chicken wings to share with my boyfriend and when they came out they were so cold and stale. Some were as hard as rocks. I genuinely think I would have gotten sick if I chose to eat them. They had clearly been sitting out for at least an hour or two. The waitress was so lovely though when I asked her to take them back. She came back and apologised. The wings that came out after that were extremely hot, crispy and fresh. The drinks are pretty pricey for what you’re getting but overall, I had a great time here.

Hadn't been there for years...Wow what a change! Went for the $9.99 roast lunch. Delicious and the best value around. A great place to eat or have an afternoon cocktail in the outside dining area with its pegola and water features. Welcoming bar staff. Very impressed.

Christmas lunch very disappointed. Last time was amazing buffet this year table service. Food average . Expecting more for the price. Entree 5 oysters and 4 prawns 1 bug Main Meal no better than weekday roast. Dessert looked like came from packet from supermarket. Wait staff very pleasant but not enough of them.

Great local pub style venue, nicely renovated. Food was pretty good. Service was not bad but very quiet on a Sunday night. Best thing was the new, beautifully landscaped 12 hole putt putt course. Perfect at night to escape the heat. Great having 4 different holes per par for different skill levels. Lovely evening with the family.

Awesome place for big parties and entertainment for kids! Fully enclosed playground with a basketball hoop, cubby houses and heaps of room to run around. New putt-putt ground looks amazing, $50 for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, extra $13 per kid (2023). Menu kids the mark with classics with burgers, pizza and fish etc. lots of the kids menu to choose from. Well done Alexandra Hills Hotel, we will be back again soon with friends!

Have been coming here since 2017 (except for the Covid border closure). Location is good as it easy driving to both Brisbane and the Coast where I have family and friends to visit when I come up from Sydney. Hotel services and amenities are excellent and that's why my partner and I keep coming back!

Just celebrated my son's wedding yesterday and Kelly and her team were absolutely amazing. Since she came on board the wedding plans were stress free. Nothing was too great or small for them. It was much appreciated by our whole family. Our guests have been sending messages all day. The reception space was beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

We booked a party space for my husband's 50th, putt putt followed by platters and drinks in the lookout space. We couldn't fault a thing. Communication was exceptional throughout the booking. Service on the day was amazing. We all had a great time and the staff kept checking in with us throughout to confirm everything. we ran late on the course and had booked food for a set time, staff came and confirmed if we were ready before serving which we appreciated as we weren't watching the time and food would have gone cold if they hadn't checked in. It was really a great afternoon. Well done Alex Hills Hotel, you've really provided a fantastic relaxing atmosphere.
