I grew up in Redcliffe from when the shopping centre was open aired and covered in brown brick and 30 odd years later, it’s still a fairly poor excuse for a shopping centre and oddly Kmart is in exactly the same place. Recently, we did have a Target but they ripped it out and built, you guessed it... another gym. They do need to give one of the security guards at the shopping centre a free 12 month trial I’m sure someone crutches could outrun him. Most smaller stores don't open until 10am on a Sunday and they close around 2pm because they literally can't be bothered to trade. The sports-shop and the locksmith are a fine example of this. Some stores don't bother to open at all. Not even the opportunistic Optus and Telstra stores are open. A large number of stores can't be bothered to trade on a Thursday night because late night shopping hasn't caught on in Redcliffe yet or they think it's Sunday and they've left at 2. The only stores that keep this shopping centre relevant are the big chain stores. Coles, Kmart and Woolworths. The food court is pitiful. When the most exciting option available is Mcdonalds, you know you're not in culinary heaven. They closed down the Carvery and they’re putting in a bubble tea / juice bar… because when I'm hungry.. all I'm really craving is a big cup of cold tea with slimy balls in it. Centre has always had an issue with troubled teens and their troubled parents. The pride of Redcliffe ‘The Captain Cook Tavern’ brings in a delightful bunch of well-mannered folk. The only draw is that It’s closer for me to pick up a few groceries here than fight for a car space at Northlakes and the barber downstairs near the post office are fantastic. but if you're looking for a fun filled day of shopping over a nice lunch.. keep driving

Messy layout. Outdated boring stores. Nil entertainment except for watching the local police squad making hourly arrests within the centre. Suddenly not hungry after seeing food court

It's got everything including Best and Less. The newsagents downstairs is beautifully stocked with lovely unique affordable giftlines, counter staff there are down to earth and genuinely courteous. The sportster has branded shoes including Sketchers and Nike, there's a Jay Jays too. There's a big food court and a Cinema. Toilets are very well maintained with hygiene and often smell of strawberry bubblegum. There's an Australia Post Office and old school bakery. It lacks nothing. I shop there often.

Great little shopping centre , has all the basics, like Coles, kmart, woolworths, a food court, and some specially stores. 2 Medical centres on site, undercover parking and much more

I'm a bit of an in quick/ out quick shopper since Pandemic times. There are specialty shops here, and some big brands. I don't come here to browse. I usually know what I want, and know I can get it here. The parking is easy. It suits my needs

As always I loved the undercover car park experience that shields me from the rain. Most especially appreciated on this visit is because I had to come to the cinema with my kids. It was raining but we had nothing to worry about. I didn’t have to rush while setting up the baby’s pram and the being able to use the lift to the top floor confirms it’s an assessable edifice even for the disabled.

This would be the major shopping centre in the area it has a vast variety of shops and car parking available centrally located with at least 3 entry and exits to drive in that I'm aware of so getting in and out is extremely safe and easy with it being close to the train station and buses so for public transport extremely close it gives a advantage to people that have no vehicle so yea I'll say 4 and half stars if I could but no I wouldn't give this place a 5 star rating as I have been to much better major shopping centres but this being the biggest in the area it is recommended... however be aware that there is a pub right there and im always careful of interacting with people under the influence of substances as there unpredictable to say the least ... apart from that it has the hungry jacks ... and the burgers are better at hungry jacks ...

Two shopping centres right next door to each other. I find it easier to park under the shade sails in front of the kippa ring section with the woollies in it and walk down to do the lap of the other one.

  • 4/5 Billy and Kim G. 1 year ago on Google
Good old Coles has everything!! It's very convenient and has just about everything you need bar the actual kitchen sink🤣 Drop in next time your at Kippa-ring!!!

Back to kippa ring fabulous drove straight in. Kmart staff amazing wouldn't shop anywhere else

Appears a nice shopping centre, used to have a very active, happy Community type atmosphere. Covid has been harsh to this lovely little dining area now it struggles to reclaim its old culture.

  • 4/5 John W. 2 years ago on Google
The shops are a bit spread out and being a senior with ambulatory difficulties I found getting around a little hard. Good selection and variety of shops though.

  • 1/5 Loz C. 2 years ago on Google
Security loves nothing but harassing kids around the centre (I am not a kid) therefore creating hostile environment in centre

  • 5/5 Edward R. 10 months ago on Google
Smaller shopping mall than chermside and North lakes. Makes it easier to get around.

  • 5/5 Wendy N. 5 months ago on Google
Always enjoy shopping here.. good range of shops, good parking and even the movie theater is small and comfortable.

Small centre, nice bakery and good coffee. Hubby went and had a haircut and bread trim.

  • 5/5 Phil S. 7 months ago on Google
I went to the chemist there and was served by the pharmacist who bent over backwards to help me find what I needed and advised me with a few things I was unsure of. He did that with professionalism and a smile.

  • 5/5 Wendy 7 months ago on Google
Great variety of shops. Cafes and eateries in abundance so spoilt for choice when it comes to eat or have a coffee and muffin. Also has post office and Newsagency, several hairdressers, nail and beauty places with cinemas above to wind down and enjoy.

I love going there on the weekends to meet family or friends, plenty to see an do

  • 4/5 Christine G. 8 months ago on Google
I think we need a few more larger chain stores as not everybody can get to North Lakes or Strathpine. I couldn't get an electric can opener the other day anywhere at Peninsula Fair.

  • 2/5 Bradley J I. 8 months ago on Google
Unfortunately nothing really changes , lived here for 50 yrs and nothing really new for locals can see why Chermside and North lakes are the hubs , it's even getting harder for the aged population to shop at KIPPA-RING

  • 4/5 Mari-Liis A. 1 year ago on Google
I went there for a health shop, which i did not found. Not too much there.

  • 5/5 Daniel O. 8 months ago on Google

  • 4/5 Audrey R. 1 year ago on Google
Location is associated with the family area But transport and taxi services is not so good for the elderly people who have to cross a bisse intersection to get into Keeping shopping centres as a visitor for the elderly thing's should be more important.

Usually I only go to the movies here, but just once I walk into the shopping centre and take a look around and realize straight away why I avoid it.

Small sized shopping centre which is right beside another small sized centre. The two together gives you a fair choice of outlets and services. Reasonable parking with some undercover. A cinema and tavern attached provides a shopping alternative. Public transport access could be better especially for aged and disabled persons.

She hacked my daughters hair so bad it costume a further 40 to fix what she had done! I have seen a hairdresser cut hair so badly in my life I normally do a better job and I'm not qualified!!

Not sure how, but it took me 2 hours to find the car with a load of shopping. Secret compartments and dungeon like basements with flickering lights just waiting for a demon to jump out and eat my soul.

What can you say about a shopping centre?? As good as any. Would congratulate the centre management however with not having a Santa who sits 2 meters away from the children ... shame on North Lakes Centre .... nothing but money, money, money.... loved the set up (PFSC) they did have, which involved the children in stead, and the bubbly personality of the young lady who was looking after it.
