The new playground at Pelican Park is pretty cool. My kids had a great time there. It was very busy, but with 2 carparks and another close by, there seemed to be plenty of parking. Nice and close to the water, big open spaces, and the coastal walkway. It could get a bit breezy there, but today we had a gentle breeze and it was lovely.

Nice little park with huge parking which indeed stands for its name. Several pelicans were on the shore and on the water. You can’t feed them.

Best park in Redcliffe. Always busy, but spread out with discreet nooks and crannies to make it private for a picnic lunch. Loads of amenities including accessibility playground, private showers in toilets, plenty of bbq's, bins, water fountains and dog poo bags provided. Dogs allowed on certain sections of beach. Boat ramp, filleting fish bench, loads of car park for trailers.

Great Spot for wind surfing, including Kite flying. Ample parking space, close by amenities and nice beach front. Has a playground for kids and BBQ spot, trees for shade and water bubbles for both people and dogs

Amazing small beach with beautiful views. Ideal if u want a peaceful getaway and also want the kids to enjoy. Also a very nice kids park with different swings nearby. Would totally recommend for a peaceful weekend after a chaotic week

We arrived at the park with my Wife and 2 boys. It was the weekend of the KITE Festival, it was amazing. The park is right on the beach ocean view. If you have time off and simply wish to relax, smell.the ocean breeze, maybe have a picnic, go to pelican park.

This park has great facilities and is well-maintained. It overlooks the bay and its smooth ocean. They regularly have great events there such as car shows which are excellent.

Went to Pelica Park for the Chinese Festival, this blew me away, such a diverse culture what a fantastic day out I can only synthesize for the people who missed it, honestly you missed something amazing. No only the Chinese contingency but the total cultural experience of so many cultures in one place doing their country's ethnic dancing, absolutely the best on display fir all to see. Food Food and more food, so go and stuff your next time it comes around, keep you eye for the "CHINESE FESTIVAL" next time, mark it down on your calender and book it in OK?

Well its a lovely area...but the showers are COLD...and the toilets are metal with NO toilet seat..not nice...the park is kept clean and its a very popular area for people parking thier fishing trailers...people walking ....people walking thier DOGS..and the WATER JUMPING CASTEL...like GRAND CENTERAL STATION... some times...NEEDS IMPOVEMENT...because of its popularity... and a UNDER COVER BARBUE AREAS .....and a kids (FENCED) PLAY GROUND...so have a LOOK at the photos i have posted and MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP ..thank you for reading this post as well..

Amazing new pirate ship themed playground. Huge pirate ships with stairs or rope climb up. 2 slides, steering wheels, canon balls, binoculars, fireman poles. There’s a baby swing, kids swing, round web swing. There’s a sand play station, see-saw with one side for bigger kids and one for smaller kids on the other side. There’s rockers, a spinning station, soft fall and loads of soft sand to play in. BBQs, plenty of covered seating, filtered water tap, rubbish and recycling bins, ocean views. We walk up being only 7 minutes away, but there are always plenty of car spots available even on sunny, warm weekends. 4 stars because I wish there were toilets close by. But there’s some only about a 3-4 minute walk away; which isn’t too bad.

As a marriage celebrant I've conducted weddings here and have found it quieter than other parks. One of the things that has changed is that the Visitor Information Centre which stands close to the road, is now permanently closed. It used to provide information for both tourists and locals. You could find out what activities take place on the peninsula, what tours are available, and bus timetables. Not quite sure why it closed down as it so conveniently located. Popular activities which draw a lot of onlookers include sky diving and kite flying on weekends. Most popular of all, though, is the feeding of pelicans which takes place every day at 10 o'clock in the morning.

Beautiful Spot on the waterfront Clontarf. 😍 I personally love this spot for photo's. Stop in and take a stroll - local shops along the esplanade, parks toilets and boat ramp. Information Centre for great tips on what to do and see.

Beautiful waterside views with an enclosed playground for kids. Sunsets are spectacular here with views looking out towards the Hornibrook bridge. The boat ramp at the venue makes this place appeal to those looking to venture out into the water with jet skis and boats.
