Beautiful dog off leash beach with big waves for families with kids and fur kids. We went there just a few days after NY holiday so quite a lot of people around even on week day, but there’s wnough room for everyone. Beach is clean, nice to walk barefoot along the white sand, no seaweed, and even after big rains or bad weather, the water is pretty clear. There’s plastic bag dispenser to pick up after your dogs at the entrance so make sure you take one or two on the way in. Shower and water taps near the car park and toilet a bit further on the right.

Plenty of parking, great beach A few 4wd on the beach, but mainly just hanging around. A mixture of big and little dogs. Great beach for a walk

An absolutely wonderful place to walk with your unleashed doggies. Most people here walk non aggressive dogs and clear up droppings. Be aware that only the southern side of the beach is leash free. The northern side is for humans only. Otherwise penalties apply. Ample car parking. Dolphins and bait fish seen here. Good fishing spot. Surf not too rough good for swimming under supervision. No lifesavers on duty.

Best dog beach around. We drive 40 minutes to get there but it's totally worth it. Lots of parking on street or dirt car park.

Long walk through and to the beach from the designated car park. Nice quiet beach though.

The best place to take your dogs off leash anywhere near Brisbane. Huge stretch of beach they can get a good run on and never too busy.

Beautiful off leash dog beach which extends quite far round and is great for short to medium walks. Dogs are required to be on leash from the car parks to the beach front given the wildlife in the forestry area. Views. of the city from the southern part of the beach, and dog waste bags are available at the entrance from the car parks.

Great spot to walk the dogs, secluded and lots to explore as you walk along the beach. You can walk all the way from Woorim to Red Beach or vice - versa. Takes about 40 min casually, I usually walk from Woorim to RB and back again if you do so late in afternoon check the tide is not going to be high on the way back, or you'll be walking back in the dark. In saying that it's not too bad you can still do it it's quite fun with the kids timing the waves to get past the fallen trees on the way back. Take a small torch if your uncertain what the tide is doing. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Our Golden Retriever, Theo, loves this place more than anywhere else. Low tide is nicer for walking but anytime is a good time in Theo's eyes. We park at the Benalong Street Park and walk right around to Red Beach if we have time. Mornings are usually calmer if your dog enjoys the water. In summer, I enjoy going for a swim as well. We often will see dolphins here which always makes my day. We haven't had any problems with the dogs here. Unless you go really early or late you will see other people there walking their dogs.

Really great spot to take your dog. There is a park before the beach with some tables and a cover if you would like a little picnic before walking down to the actual beach which stretches for ages! You can leave them off leash, we just had ours on leashes because they are chows and anyone who knows this breed, knows they are stubborn.

Great place to let your dog run free. Very popular in the morning and weekends. Kid friendly with small waves.

Bit cool and windy, however the dog loves it. Plenty of smells and great facilities.

So many happy dogs. Beach is huge and doesn’t feel cramped at all. Great place to take the pooch for a splash.

It’s windy but it was fun. A lovely beach for the doggos to enjoy their own space. Most dogs were under control with good recall. I felt safe to take my doggo there. Lots of parking, toilets and end of fun facilities including dog wash (water on a hose) and water bowls. If you forget your bags, they have a dispenser there.

Beautiful, pristine beaches, the dogs & their owners I came across were friendly & responsible - it was high tide, yet there was still plenty of space for the dogs to explore. It is relatively quiet on weekends, and very quiet on weekdays. There is a little way to walk to the beach (on thick sand) from the car park to the beach, so bear that in mind if you're carrying lots of things or have difficulty walking.
