The most delicious baos! Both with aubergines or with tofu crispy soooo tasty! The gyosas with truffles were also spectacular and the jamon serrano (ham) just melted in our mouths!

The food is really good, there's a nice environment and decoration and the open kitchen is fantastic. The baos were not the best of the menu at all! Pork lechon is just an experience you have to go through! Service is good but we were a bit disappointed - at the end of the meal they brought two cups of sake and they just said "for you ladies" so we understood it was on the house. After we had touched it, when we were going to serve it, a waitress came and said it was an error and took it directly to another customer. In such a type of restaurant, if you make that mistake, you leave it and serve another to other customers (specially after we've touched it).

The place is quite cool. Nice atmosphere. The service was nice and attentive. All dishes were super tasteful and well seasoned. The pork lechón, the sweet and sticky eggplant and the chicken karaage were my favourites. Also the Ube cassava cake dessert was delicious. I had highs expectations about the wagyu bao, but unfortunately it was my least favourite. The portions could be bigger for the price thought. Still highly recommended.

we had 7 of their bao buns. we particularly enjoyed the mushroom, crispy chicken and salmon one; the pork belly and panko were ok, but would not recommend the salmon or the tofu ones (the sauces they came with were acidic and ruined the flavour to me). we also ordered the miso aubergine which was fantastic. the padron peppers were instead undercooked and at £7.20 you would really expect a lot more on the plate. service was very efficient, but overall not sure worth the price tag

Not sure how to review this place because we came on a day where they had a fire and were not able to eat. It was really upsetting as we had made a booking for Friday night from quite far away and couldn’t find anywhere else to eat (everywhere had queues). We got the dynamite shrimp, which was good from what we tasted. Miso soup was good too. Baos looked nice but we did not try. It’s a real shame and we may come back to try again but just a shame. We were also not compensated fairly.

We had a delicious dinner at Yuu Kitchen. Our server recommended ordering three or four dishes per person, so we shared several dishes including salt and pepper squid, steamed bao buns, kimchi chips, and adobo chicken wings. Out of all the dishes we tried, my top three favourites were the sweet and sticky eggplant that was so flavourful and delicious, the buttermilk fried chicken manga bao, and the dynamite shrimps/prawns. It's worth noting that the manga bao is priced for only one bao, and the portion sizes are a little small.

Amazing food. We had chicken, beed and aubergine bao, chicken wings and edamame as well as desert: mochi and ice cream bao. Everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast.

One of my favourite spots in London! The food is absolutely delicious, the must have for us are the chilli&salt edamame, the chicken karaage, the Thai sausages with bao buns, the aubergine and the deep fried bao bun with ube ice cream. The staff are attentive, professional, friendly and really welcoming. We love sitting at the bar and watching the staff prepare the food. It’s a 10/10 from us every time!

Had a very pleasant experience here. Would recommend. Tried a few of the signature dishes - Wagyu Bao, Tuna Tostada, Chicken Karaage. Everything was super fresh, full of flavor and texture. If I had to pick my favorite from the three, I’d go with Chicken Karaage. The Ginger Ninja cocktail was really tasty. It had a nice balance between bitterness and sweetness. The atmosphere is lively, but just the right amount of music and noise to be able to have a conversation with a person across the table. And the service was good too.

So before the food we have to speak about John. Whatever ingredients you used to make John, cook up an extra batch! Service was 10 out of 10. We were going to walk out since we were worried about the food being cooked with pork or Alcohol, John went through the menu and marked everything that was halal friendly. Superb service, really made it a pleasant experience. The Karage, Kimchi Fries and Wagyu Beef Bao was 9/10 The crab Bao had a slight fishy smell but tasted good. Would definitely recommend 🙂

Lovely environment, lovely food. Definitely my kind of place! I'd eat here any week (I actually do). All of their bao is great. Personal favourites: chicken wings, mushroom bao

Food was amazing, can watch it being cooked in front of you. Prices are really reasonable too. Only issue I had was I was boiling in there, but it’s the open kitchen

We love Yuu Kitchen! What a cute spot with super friendly service and tasty food. We've been here twice in the several days we've been in London and we'll definitely come back again before we leave. Some of our faves are the prawn crackers (a great little snack); grilled cauliflower w/ jalapeno ponzu; dynamite shrimps; and the pork belly bao (one of our favorites ever). Go!

This restaurant is one of the best I've been to, here in London. The food is amazing, with great taste and presentation experienced with every dish. I I've eaten here several times, for multiple reasons which the decor is on being so cool, the staff are really nice and professional; portraying the overall culture of this restaurant. My favourite dishes: Sweet & Sticky Eggplant, 7Up Boa Pork Bun, Spicy Tuna Tostada, and Filipino style sticky adobo chicken wings... (there are other things on the menu I'm still yet to try, that I'll do next time). If you know, then Yuu know! 😁

The food was excellent. Especially the robata. Small portions but great flavours. The cocktails were also nice and unique. Service was good and very friendly

Just about gets 5 stars for me. The food was all good, certain dishes were really delicious such as the tuna tataki and the spicy tuna and rice cakes. However the portion sizes are a little small for the price and some of the menus shown in older reviews look better than the current one. All in all a nice restaurant with friendly staff.

Good atmosphere, good food but no spectacular. It could be more tasty and refined. The service is not very good. Very fast, they take your plates without asking. Not very friendly… which is bad, because the place itself could be great with the open kitchen the nice decoration and the dishes offered. I will probably not come back except if I hear that they do some improvement about the dishes quality and the service. Ps: the Coktail mojito was kind of special… in a warm cup of tea looks like a drink you take when you are sick called « grog » but I guess it is healthy :)

Cute restaurant serving Asian fusion food. Atmosphere and service were 10/10. baos: I wasn't blown away by the soft shell crab to be honest - wouldn't order again, I'm not a fan of wasabi tho and it comes with some kind of wasabi mayo. The chicken one was slightly better, mainly due to the absence of wasabi. Sticky aubergine: good and very sweet, I'd recommend getting a rice bowl. They were quite good (eaten with the rice) - perhaps my fave dish. Chicken wings: very crispy, a bit oily but overall I liked them Rice cake with spicy tuna: good dish, again not a fan of spicy mayo or fried rice cubes but they were super crispy and it was a good combo I guess - just not for me. Korean octopus: it's just octopus with a dipping sauce! Good combo. Prawn and scallop dumpling: I was quite disappointed by this dish - the skin of the dumpling was a bit dry and the filling a bit bland in the end. Perhaps it's because I had them after all the spicy mayo, wasabi mayo etc etc but I wanted to love them and just couldn't! Tha cassava cake with ice cream was nice, never had something similar before and I enjoyed it. Overall I asn't too impressed with the food. I'm tired of having mayo literally everywhere, there's mayos with siracha sauce, or with wasabi, or with something else but it's always mayo. Perhaps Asian fusion and its abuse of mayo just are't my vibe anymore Having said that, food quality was great, the presentation was also very nice and there was a good atmosphere.

I had an amazing experience. The staff were the sweetest, the ambience was perfect and the service was really fast. Do try their soft shell crab bao and pork ribs. Thank me later!

A friend and I booked the “Bottomless Bao and bubbles” here. The food is super tasty! But It was a set menu with 4 small courses including just 1 bao bun each. It was enough food but not the “bottomless bao” I was expecting, but that’s my fault for listening to marketing words and not reading the fine print 😅. That being said the Prosecco was topped up frequently and generously. The restaurant was lovely and the art work around added a great ambience. The staff were also all lovely! A great overall experience!

Food was good! You can get 2-3 items per person to share with friends. Best item was the eggplant with minced meat.

Staff were amazingly friendly and tentful however the food was massively underwhelming and hugely overpriced for the portion sizes. The flavour just wasn’t there and not much effort was put in as the food came out VERY quickly. For an Asian style restaurant it was so bland and we were very disappointed!

Had an absolutely superb time here. Incredible food (I’m obsessed with the prawns), delicious wine and the loveliest team. They were all incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. I absolutely will be coming back!

Really loved the place, doesn’t look like much from outside but wow the food was great. Definitely recommend getting all the starters and picking and sharing as a group. And the drinks were lush! Particular fav the midori sour.

So happy I've found this place! The food was really delicious. We sat in front of the kitchen and the chefs were super lovely. Our server was incredible!!! Didnt get his name but he was this hyper funny man running around in the kitchen. Please give him kisses, he made our night!

I've always had a great time visiting this place. Aside from having the food right - genuine Southeast Asian, Filipino flavours ( can't speak more about the Lechon) - the whole experience and warmth of the place from the nicely designed street-art filled walls to the amazing staff, and most especially Chef Jon. It feels like going back home to meet friends every time. I hope the situation in the UK will be better soon so I can go back and enjoy the nice meals and drinks here again.

Location very close to Aldgate East Station, the restaurant has a really cool interior. Went got the bottomless baos which we booked for 6pm on a Friday. The Bao buns were amazing and we were served very quickly throughout the hour, the waiters would ask for our order as soon as we had ordered a bao bun. Can recommend enough, the bao buns were amazing, 5 good options (chicken, pork belly, aubergine, tofu and Jackfruit) the chicken and aubergine being my favourite

Randomly saw this gem, saw that the menu comprised of decent vegan options and after reading the profile on one of the owners (outside), decided to pop in to have just a BAO. Enchanted by the awesome eclectic artwork along with excellent customer service, I enjoyed my evening which included meeting various staff members. Met the owners too. All of whom are lovely people 💯 Food Ordered more than a bao! Also had Kimchi Chips and the cassava dessert which was amazing. 10/10 food 10/10 customer service 10/10 venue mainly due to the fantastic artwork on walls 😀

Went in for a meal with 10+ people and Patricia was very attentive and friendly. Made sure we had what we needed and was very patient with us splitting the bill. Couldn’t have asked for tastier food or more timely service. Super happy and happy to come back/ recommend to everyone! Thanks for such a wonderful experience
