Wow
wow
wow.
I'd
give
Caribbean
Heritage
six
stars
if
Google
would
let
me.
Walked
here
from
Corn
Hill
on
a
summer
night
and
was
absolutely
blown
away.
The
generous
helping
of
curry
goat
was
the
best
I've
ever
had,
and
the
plantains
are
fire.
But
the
big
surprise
was
the
zucchini
and
butternut
side,
which
was
ridiculously
flavorful.
I
didn't
even
consider
leaving
anything
on
the
plate,
and
halfway
thought
through
the
consequences
of
eating
the
bones.
Just
as
good
as
the
meal
was
the
conversation
I
had
at
the
bar
with
Jerome
Underwood,
the
co-owner
(his
wife
is
the
chef;
they
started
the
restaurant
this
year
after
running
a
successful
catering
business
for
15
years).
Jerome
was
warm
and
engaging
but
never
overbearing.
I'm
excited
to
see
him
again
and
sample
the
rest
of
the
menu.
FYI,
for
vegan
and
vegetarian
brethren:
there
are
several
practiced
dishes
on
the
menu
that
are
vegan
(unusual
for
a
Caribbean
restaurant
in
my
experience),
because
Jerome,
a
practicing
Rastafarian,
has
been
a
vegetarian
for
forty
years.
Definitely
a
place
at
the
table
here
for
all
inclinations.
