Well when it’s open, it’s a cool old place where kiddos can learn a bit about the past. I remember coming here as a child a few times. They also do special events like baby animal days.

My whole family loves that this living history museum is in our community. We decided to become members this year, and in our first 3 months, we've already been to a Civil War event, trick-or-treat fun, and the Homesteader's Holiday activities - all wonderful! Highly recommend a visit.

Great recreated historic "village" with original structures from the city of Greeley and county of Weld, Colorado. Interpretation was informative and interesting presented by period attired historians. The blacksmith shop was my personal favorite. Still had some covid limitations. Guided tours are on the hour. Price was very reasonable. The history guide was fantastic and had to adopt her normal tour in order to accomdate a small children's group that joined us. Highly recommend a visit - takes about a max. of 2 hours to see.

What a great place!! We spent almost 3 hours exploring and listening to the different volunteers. They were all very knowledgeable and welcoming. Most buildings were open to explore not just a window to look through. The experience was well worth the price of admission.

It was an interesting place to visit & take grandkids to, but they need better signage where the entrance is & many more living history volunteers to represent the era. The boys enjoyed talking with the volunteers the best & asking them questions.

It's always a nice little outing for me and the kids when we come to Centennial Village. We attended their trick or treat event, and it was nice. Cute, safe place for the kids to have fun, get some goodies, and learn a thing or two.

Loved the baby animal springtime event! Will be going back for sure. Could definitely figure out a more efficient ticket process though

Not every building was manned, but the buildings with employees were fun. I was hoping to see the blacksmith working, but maybe that’s a weekend kind of thing. The younger kids had fun enjoying the “old timey” things.

All I can say is wow! We didn't know this place existed until we stumbled upon it on Google. We spend about three hours walking the entire place and taking in the history. It is all really well maintained and the folks there make it a great visit, sharing what they know of the history of the area. Highly recommended to take young people to so they can see what life used to be like.

Went to Baby Animal Days and was very disappointed. Only a few animals and none of the buildings were open. Was hoping to take photos of the Rattlesnake Kate house, train, and one of the other exhibits that are typically open but all we’re closed. If exhibits will be closed please let people know…

I've been near this location so many times and I had no idea it was here. It was a great experience and my kids loved that it was very immersive!

We enjoyed our time at the village. It was greatly entertaining for all ages. The Buffalo soldiers and the wagon ride were the highlight

Brought my lil fam here over the weekend the pice was good.... I was kind of bummed that the houses nor the school was open for tour... But we had so much fun and enjoyed the nice weather enjoyed seeing the animals... Maybe next time we can have a tour when we can see everything inside....

Wasn’t very fun. Was expecting a corral type thing where the kids could actually go in and pet the animals. Instead, the animals were in cages unable to pet unless you stick your hand through the fence baby gate type area. Some seemed uncomfortable from the heat and were panting. No other buildings were unlocked to tour and learn about. The goats were raised for meat anyway, so likely the other animals are too..so they’re just capitalizing on their future demise. Lame. 4 baby goats Some chickens locked up Baby chicks A cow A couple bunnies Maybe fun for toddlers, but not older kids won’t be impressed.

A truly lovely place and experience. I brought my little brother (7) and was a little afraid that he would get bored but the staff were really good at keeping him engaged. He would not stop talking about it.The place is beautiful, educational, unique, and a great way to spend 2+ hours. I also recommend their special event days, they are super cool.
